“Hyatt Union Square— please have compassion! We are trying to cancel our reservation for Christmas as Covid numbers surge in NYC. This wasn’t our plan or yours either. We wish we could visit but it simply isn’t safe. And you won’t refund us. The corp office says it’s up to the Union Square managers and your front desk says they can’t help— both are deflecting and it looks awful for the brand. Have compassion on your customers right now. Please reach out and help us get the refund we need for a trip that simply isn’t feasible right now.”

“Prepaid for everything, but was charged over $1,000 inexplicably during our stay. Everyone assured me it was a mistake, but no one was able to reverse the charge until days after I left New York. Our first night we couldn't leave the room because the cardkey system was down and a once we finally did get a key the next day they stopped working 24 hours later. Its a really great location, but I don't think I've had a more dysfunctional stay at a Hyatt.”
