“We checked in on Thursday,July 14th 2022. My family and I acquired 4 rooms.The first night I called down to the front desk and informed them that the television remote wasn't working and asked for batteries or a different remote (The volume was super loud And we couldn't turn it down). I was told that there were no batteries..... no solutions! So we were unable to utilize the television options the entire stay!! Then on Sunday (Day 4) of no housekeeping, sprucing, freshening, etc I went down to the front desk where there was an older Asian woman working to ask for toilet paper 🧻since the 2 half rolls that greeted us on Thursday were now gone.As I walked up the phone rang,she answered and I could tell that whatever they were asking of her was bothersome to her and she abruptly told the caller,Um you'll have to hold because I have to help some in front of me!!... I guess she was hoping that my issue would be easily resolved.... I greeted her and said,"We are out of toilet paper in room 3_5. Can I have more please?" She responded," I have to see if I have any. " I said ok and she walked away..... Upon her empty-handed return, without a concern in the world, she gives me a 'welp' filled shrug and says.... "We don't have any toilet paper. " to which I respond.... "Ummm ohhhh ok. Soooo how can I get some? What does this mean for me?". Ms Ma'am responds (now frustrated with me like the caller that's still on hold) " I don't know! I don't have any!" With mouth ajar, I just look at her stunned then I try to explain "we have been here since Friday and no one has even checked on the rooms and now I need toilet paper and you telling me...oh well?!" Now she's really upset!! And there's an older gentleman that has arrived to check in and a group of 4-5 young men also waiting.So now she puts me on hold as abruptly as the caller that's still holding,to tell me she needs to help the people in front of her!! Just like she told the caller because clearly whenever she presented with a situation that flusters her she moves on to another task!!! I'm still standing there stunned and now I'm upset too!! So she walks off,goes in the back and comes back with an open box of kleenex and says "Here you can use this!!"In the end,I ended up going across to the market and buying a roll of toilet paper.So if you're going to be visiting this Fairfield.....pack your own supplies including batteries and toilet paper!! **sorry so long**”

“We checked in around 1:15a. The night auditor was rude and had no customer service. She asked how can I help you, after having a 10 min conversation with the guy in front of is. No customer service at all. She gave us our keys, didn't identify our room number, she didn't give us clear information about breakfast, seeing it's at IHOP. She didn't tell us about parking or how to get to our room. When we asked, she said we could park anywhere and then she pointed to the elevators. It would probably be better for her to work in housekeeping; laundry, where she won't have to interact with the general public, she is a horrible initial face for the Marriott Brand. On Saturday morning we called for face cloths at 10, we were informed that they're were none at the moment. When asked how long it would be we were told maybe around 12. I mean this place is missing customer service everywhere. The morning front desk guy was pleasant enough.”
