“I travel frequently. This was the worst experience at a hotel I've ever had. The room felt dirty upon arrival. Stains on the furniture and bedding. My room smelled like smoke and weed. People were loud and slamming doors all night. I woke up at 3am and found bugs crawling on the bed, definitrly bed bugs. The lights were extremely dim in the hallways. I was a solo female traveler and did not feel safe at all in this hotel. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this hotel at all costs. I have stayed in many hotels all over the country and world and this was by far the worst. I left as soon as I could at 5:30am to escape this dreadful hotel.”

“The one positive thing about this place is how nice their front desk staff is. The male who checked us in was welcoming and kind. However, in a hotel where smoking is not permitted in or around the building they sure do a lot of it. People were constantly outside right in front of the entrance smoking and you could smell smoke in their very dim lit hallway. The hotel itself is in desperate need of a renovation of some kind. I didn’t expect luxury from a budget hotel but to advertise a working conference area and then both computers be broken and unusable, then to advertise a fitness area that was closed and couldn’t be used. Also, the vending machine had to be from the early 90s and probably stopped working by the end of them as well. Ate my money and gave me no snack. House keeping didn’t pick up our dirty towels one time in entire 4 days we stayed. They only checked in to clean on the day we were meant to check out. Check out is 11, and she came at 9:30 telling us we should be checked out already so she could clean. Breakfast is not terrible, but not attended and mostly cold and pre packaged apart from luke warm eggs and ‘omelets’ made of nothing but egg with cheese sandwiched inside. I would say the highlight is the male your own waffle station. Needless to say, the area was nice. Convenient and close to good restaurants and Walmart for groceries. Plenty of door dash options, which was probably the smoothest thing we did at the hotel. I most likely will check out the Fairfield next door they share a parking lot with on my next visit to Charlotte.”
