Welcome to Europamundo! Upon arriving at the airport, we will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel. Check the information boards in the hotel reception area for details of the welcome meeting with your guide and fellow travelers.

In the morning we will have a city tour, during which we will get to know the Portuguese capital of the 7 hills, the alleys and the tiles, the "saudade" and the Atlantic light. We will also approach the Belem neighborhood, from where the great Portuguese navigators, who crossed the oceans in the 15th century, left. Free time in the afternoon to walk and go to the Bairro Alto and its viewpoint; if you´d like to, you could take an optional excursion to the towns of Sintra, Cascais and Estoril. In the evening we return from the Restauradores Square, full of atmosphere with its bars and cafes, to the hotel.

We will leave Portugal early, we will cross the beautiful region of Alentejo. We will make a stop for a coffee in ESTREMOZ, a charming town with a medieval castle, cobblestone streets, beautiful architecture and peaceful atmosphere that reflect Portuguese authenticity. We pass to Spain. In CÁCERES you can have lunch and a walk through its historic center, one of the best-preserved
medieval and Renaissance urban complexes in the world. We continue to MADRID, arrival in the evening and a transfer to Plaza Mayor full of restaurants and life.

Por la mañana tendremos una visita panorámica de la ciudad donde conoceremos los puntos monumentales más representativos. Tarde libre. El guía le ofrecerá opcionalmente realizar una excursión a Toledo o por la noche un espectáculo flamenco.

In the morning we leave for Aragón through the lands of Castile. In ZARAGOZA we make a brief stop to see the Pilar Basilica. We continue to the Monastery of Poblet, surrounded by its walls in a beautiful site that is one of the best-preserved medieval monasteries in the world (entrance included). Following this we will continue to BARCELONA, arriving in the evening.

In the morning we will enjoy the city tour of Barcelona, open to the Mediterranean Sea, famous for Gaudí and its modernist architecture, for its promenades and memories of the Universal Exhibitions and Olympics that took place there. Barcelona is considered one of the most beautiful and interesting European cities. In the evening we will leave Barcelona towards the north of Catalonia. Before the accommodation in the hotel we will have a walk through GIRONA, contemplating its historic center of a great beauty, highlighting its colorful houses, the old Jewish quarter and the cathedral.

We leave for France, crossing Provence. We will make a stop in ARLES, a small world heritage city where we will remember Van Gogh, and can see Roman theatre and small Romanesque churches. Time for a stroll and lunch. We carry on and include admission to CARRIERES DE LUMIERE, an impressive show of art, image and sound underground, in former quarries. CHAMBERY, arrival and accommodation in the charming capital of Savoy, a medieval city with a beautiful old town and a great castle.

Note: When due to the influx of public it is not possible to obtain tickets for the Carrieres de Lumière show, as an alternative there will be a transfer provided to the Roman aqueduct of Pont du Gard.

We travel to Switzerland. GENEVA, arrival. With our guide we will go to the Palace of Nations (the headquarters of the United Nations in Europe) to the pretty English Garden with its clock made of flowers and we can admire the “Jet d´Eau”, the tallest fountain in Europe. We go on to the picturesque walled village of GRUYERES, known worldwide for its cheese. Free time to stroll and have lunch. Nearby there are several of the main chocolate factories in Switzerland (NESTLE amongst them), and we will visit the Cailler chocolate factory, with a tasting included!

After this we go on to CHILLON CASTLE, built in the waters of the lake. Entrance included to this fantastic medieval castle. We will continue travelling through smaller roads amidst bucolic mountain landscapes and very picturesque wooden villages.- Arrival in LEYSIN, a beautiful little holiday village with spectacular views of the Rhône plain and Mont Blanc, known for its winter sports resort or its hiking possibilities. Dinner included.

Today´s stage has beautiful high mountain scenery. Don´t forget your winter clothes, we climb to one of the most spectacular spots in Switzerland, where you can see ice and snow all year round. We include the cable car ride up to GLACIER 3000, where you can walk on the suspended bridge in the gap between two mountain peaks, enter the Ice Cathedral or "play" in the Fun Park. We will make a stop in INTERLAKEN to have lunch. Among very picturesque lakes we continue to LUCERNE, one of the most beautiful cities in Switzerland. Continue to ZURICH, where there is time for a stroll downtown before going to the hotel.

Note: Occasionally, for major weather reasons such as rain or strong winds, the cable car to Glacier 3000 may not operate.

We will leave Zurich early in the morning and cut across the Alps in order to reach the Italian-speaking part of Switzerland. Alongside the route we will get to see beautiful lakes and snow-capped mountains. LUGANO. Arrival in the cosmopolitan capital of the Italian Switzerland built next to its beautiful lake. Time to have a stroll and have lunch. Next, we will reach the enchanting little town of MORCOTE famous for its flowery stone houses. We will then travel to Italy. Arrival in MILAN where the guide will take us to the impressive Duomo Square. Here you will find a variety of local and international restaurants to have dinner at. Transfer to the hotel.

Today we continue our journey towards PISA. On a little tourist train, we will travel to the Piazza Dei Miracoli (Square of Miracles), where there will be time to admire one of the most alluring and beautiful art complexes in Italy, including the well-known Leaning Tower of Pisa. Then, we continue to ROME, arriving at the end of the day.

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHT: City tour of Rome. Night transfer to Trastevere area.

We will enjoy a panoramic tour to give you an introduction to the Eternal City, finishing at St Peter’s in the Vatican, where you will be able to visit the Basilica and museums. In the evening, we transfer to the Trastévere, the busy city district well known for its typical restaurants. Return to hotel.

Free time the whole day to keep exploring the city. Today we suggest you take an optional excursion to Naples, Capri and Pompeii.

We travel to the capital of Tuscany - FLORENCE, upon arrival we will make a stop to take a photo at the Michelangelo viewpoint, where we can have one of the most beautiful views over the city. After that we include a sightseeing tour with a local guide of the capital of Tuscany, one of the most visited cities in the country, considered the cradle of the Renaissance and few of the most influential artists and thinkers in history, such as Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Botticelli or Raphael. Highlights include the Gothic cathedral (duomo), the ancient Stone Bridge (Ponte Vecchio) with its goldsmiths´ shops and the Signoria square - the political heart of the city with the town hall in a medieval building.

Saldremos de Venecia hacia VERONA, tenemos tiempo para conocer la ciudad de Romeo y Julieta con su importante anfiteatro romano. Posteriormente contorneamos el Lago de Garda, uno de los más hermosos lagos Alpinos. Tiempo en el hermoso pueblo de LIMONE. Embarcamos en un pequeño crucero siguiendo el lago hasta RIVA entre impresionantes paisajes de montañas que caen sobre el lago. Continuamos a Austria. INNSBRUCK, llegada al final del día.

Hoy disfrutaremos de un día de paisajes extraordinarios. Iremos a ZUGSPITZE en la frontera entre Austria y Alemania. Subimos a la cumbre de la montaña más alta de Alemania con el teleférico (incluido). En días buenos, podemos ver una panorámica de los picos nevados de las montañas en 4 países. Tras ello viajaremos a REUTTE, caminaremos por el “puente tibetano” mas largo de Europa (entrada incluida) entre paisajes extraordinarios. Posteriormente vamos FELDKIRCH, junto a la frontera con Suiza, Liechtenstein y Alemania; encantadora ciudad amurallada con hermoso casco medieval y castillo. Tiempo libre.

Viajamos Alemania. Tiempo para un paseo en LINDAU, en el lago de CONSTANZA, la ciudad antigua se encuentra enclavada en una isla. Seguimos hacia MUNICH, la capital de Baviera. Antes de entrar, conocemos DACHAU donde visitamos el museo sobre el campo de concentración Nazi. Tiempo para almorzar. En MUNICH visitamos el impresionante recinto del BMW WELT (mundo BMW) modernísima instalación de exposiciones multifuncional del grupo BMW, la prestigiosa marca de automóviles alemana y el parque donde se ubica el Olympiastadium de gran belleza arquitectónica y donde se celebraron los famosos juegos olímpicos de 1972; Tras ello tiempo libre en el centro histórico donde podrá disfrutar de las típicas cervecerías.

Saldremos hacia Baden-Württemberg. Llegada a STUTTGART, ciudad donde se encuentra la sede de Mercedes-Benz y Porsche . Su centro es muy agradable, con su castillo, grandes parques y uno de los mayores jardines botánicos de Europa. Tras la hora del almuerzo continuamos a HEIDELBERG, ciudad dominada por su gran palacio y con una universidad fundada en el siglo XIV. Recomendamos pasear entorno al Marktplat y la ciudad antigua donde encontrarán numerosos cafés y mucha vida.

Salimos a primera hora hacia Francia. Sobre las diez de la mañana llegamos a ESTRASBURGO,incluimos una paseo en barco por los canales de esta impresionante ciudad donde se mezcla la cultura francesa y la cultura Alemana. Tiempo posteriormente para conocer su impresionante catedral, el Parlamento Europeo y recorrer la muy pintoresca zona de la “Petite France”. A primera hora de la tarde salida hacia PARIS- donde llegamos al final del día.

Incluimos un traslado al Palacio de Versalles. Podrá pasear por sus hermosos jardines o visitar su interior si lo desea. Iremos tras ello al barrio bohemio de Montmartre, con sus artistas al aire libre y sus pequeños restaurantes. Tiempo para almorzar y continuación con visita panorámica de París con guía local. Regreso al hotel. Opcionalmente podrá asistir a algún espectáculo de variedades.

Nota muy importante: durante el periodo de las Olimpiadas que tendrán lugar en París entre el 23 de julio y el 11 de agosto, no podremos garantizar el alojamiento en esta ciudad y con mucha probabilidad, estarán hospedados en alguna localidad próxima. En este caso, Europamundo les ofrecerá los traslados necesarios para que puedan realizar los servicios y disfrutar de la ciudad.

Día libre. Hoy puede realizar de forma opcional un paseo en barco por el río Sena y Barrio Latino.
