We’re in Florence’s west district, four kilometers from Florence Airport and six kilometers from Firenze Santa Maria Novella rail station. The city center is 15 minutes away, home to Uffizi Gallery, Ponte Vecchio, and Piazza del Duomo. Enjoy our relaxation area with mega whirlpool and Swedish waterfall. City view rooms and all-day dining complete your stay. This 4 star hotel is located in the suburbs of Florence and was established in 2004. It is a short drive away from the Duomo and the nearest station is Firenze Santa Maria Novella. The Hotel has a restaurant, a bar, a conference room and a fitness centre/gym. “The venerable Hilton Metropole towers above the neighborhood and offers multiple floors and room choices. Hilton staff remains accommodating and efficient. The hotel itself is starting to show age but remains a very good place to stay if not a bit far from city center. A shuttle is provided (it’s hot in the summer) but we typically took a taxi which ran around 20€ each way to the city. The shuttle is also once every hour which makes it hard to time. Parking is underground, secure, and abundant at only 10€ a day. Breakfast was good and the bar is well provisioned. For the price point in Summer season the Hilton Metropole is very hard to beat.”
