I was scheduled to stay at the Grand Sirenis in June till July 2020; obviously due to the Covid-19 situation- they are closed. I did this booking through Orbitz. Between Orbtiz and the Hotel- they gave me a hard time for a refund- its been weeks trying to get a straight answer from either side. The hotel will NOT refund my money: even though they are closed- and this is not a fault of my own- having to cancel: they offered to "changed the dates" - and any difference i would have to pay for in the future. To me this is bad business and bad customer service. I would never recommend Orbtiz or Grand Sirenis: Be careful: they could care less that we are in a worldly Pandemic: they just want your money

Let’s start with the few positive thinks in this resort...Lovely beach,clean room and nice design of the resort. Negative are the following: -horrible staff In the restaurant (no smiling,no talking and not understanding English ) -food was every single day the same -my son was sick for 2 days and in that evening I go to the buffet to take some food for him and when I want to go to the room with the plate I was stopped by one of the lady telling me that is not allowed to take food out from the restaurant . I explain her the situation and I had to explain to other 5 people the same thing and on the end (after 45min) I was able to take some food to my son. -we’ve been to the casino in one evening and we didn’t look to see if is allowed to go in with kids but nobody was on the entrance to tell us that is not allowed and after 5 min the security guy came and took us like we’ve been dogs telling us OUT OUT...horrible attitude . Are many more to say but I’m stopping here. Never go back.

Had a good time here. The resort was large and had a lot of pool space and the beach was beautiful. I would say it's a great place to bring kids, as there are a ton of kid-friendly activities. I enjoyed the gym as well and the room was very nice. One thing with the room - the lights would go off a lot and you would have to reset the power in the room at random times which could be inconvenient. The employees for the most part were nice, but many did not speak much English - which is understandable, we are the ones visiting their country. The reason for three stars is the food - it's really bad. Not only the buffets, but also the restaurants. We tried all of the restaurants and all were bad quality and also terrible service, after waiting sometimes up to an hour to get a seat (doesn't matter if you have a reservation). I am not picky about food but like to eat healthy. That was impossible to do here, and the quality of the ingredients were very low. The meat was always overcooked and everything looked and tasted as though it were sitting out for days. The food issue would not be such a problem if there were other options outside the resort, but unfortunately there is nothing around except other resorts. I would personally never go back. However if meals are not an important part of your vacation, it may be a good value.

Avoid ! Scams and poor service all round.

SCAM alert !! This holiday has had so many faults and managers do little to help. Poor cleaning. If you don't tip then the cleaning may not get done. Bar staff ignore you if you don't have 1 dollar...
