Recomendation 100%
“Excelente las instalaciones de este hotel y la eficiencia del personal.”
— Braulio Torrealba
“My fiancé and I stayed last night in room 612. We made (walk-in) reservations at the front desk, and the staff were very pleasant and accommodating. The rate was $129 plus tax (Around $144 US) for a King Bed room. The hotel is conveniently located near I-75 in the SW corner of Gainesville which worked out well for us. There are several restaurants nearby. I recommend “Metro”, for breakfast, about 3 minutes up the road. The room was clean, well-lit, and although somewhat dated, it was quite comfortable. My fiancé couldn’t initially find a comfortable spot on the firmer than average mattress, but eventually fell asleep. Caveats: There are no bathroom fans, so don’t eat carefully. The walls are single ply toilet-paper thin, so if the insomniac in the adjacent room wants to watch TV all night, you will hear it. We turned the “Fan” function on, in our room to cover the noise of his or her TV next door. There is a bar downstairs, literally called “No Name Bar”, which was comfortable, and well stocked. There is also a Shula’s Steakhouse which we did not visit, and can not speak to its quality or lack thereof. Overall, would very likely visit this hotel again, based on overall experience, and pray that The TV Aficionado has moved on. Worth a visit.”
