“Let's be honest, the Fairfield isn't the Ritz but it can be a very enjoyable stay with the right management and staff. Well, that is the case here in Savannah at the Fairfield Inn in Savannah, GA. We were driving from Cape May, NJ this past Saturday. We had been driving all day and the last 100 miles were particularly tough. We had made the reservation about 3 hours before with my points. We walked into the hotel and were greeted immediately by Wanda at the front desk. She was very pleasant and helpful. I showed her my ID and to my surprise, she had our room key ready and waiting. Upgraded no less! Pointed out a few perks of the hotel. She could see we were tired and didn't want to hold us up. Told us to call down if we needed anything. Hello other hotel staff, 5-star hotel or not. Friendly and helpful and you get these types of reviews all day long. Well done Wanda, and thank you for your great service.”
