“Incredibly picturesque location. Shopping and historical sites are all within walking distance. If you are travelling from Montreal, you can take a bus directly to a terminal within walking distance to the hotel. The walled city is incredible. I took a day trip here from Montreal and felt like I had enough time to snoop and tour the various battle fields and barracks.”

“Almost everything that could go wrong did go wrong. Our initial room was very small with almost no natural light, the windows were small and we had to hunch into to see the view. The bathroom was so tiny that we had to cover the toilet and floor with towels so that the water from the shower wouldn’t get everywhere. We had to switch rooms because we didn’t have hot water. When we switched rooms they delivered our room service to the wrong room and when we did get our food my husband couldn’t eat his meal because we asked for pasta with a vegan sauce and they sent him cheese pasta. I had some chocolate covered nuts from the mini bar that had an odd taste and then noticed that they were expired. When we checked out we waited for our car for 25 mins and they ended up bringing the wrong car and we had to wait some more for our car to come.
The staff was extremely helpful and nice. The front desk manager did end up reimbursing us 50% of our stay, so they definitely made it right by us.
In the end, the rooms are definitely not worth the price. The carpet must’ve been neglected because both of us had difficulty breathing during our stay. I would also not recommend this hotel if you have any dietary restrictions because they are unable to accommodate.
Staff 10/10
Location 10/10
Everything else 1/10
Not up to 5 star hotel standards in my opinion”
