H10 Rubicón Palace is set in white-washed buildings around a lagoon-style pool in the Lanzarote fishing village of Playa Blanca. Overlooking La Mulata Beach it features a spa and 10 restaurants and bars.Each air-conditioned room at the H10 Rubicon Palace Hotel is spacious and bright. All rooms have flat-screen TVs with satellite channels. Guests can hire beach towels at reception.Two buffet restaurants offer show cooking and themed dinners. À la carte options include The Steakhouse which offers American specialties; the Dolce Vita features Italian cuisine and Sakura serves fusion-oriental cuisine. “Me gustaria destacar primero los puntos positivos. La calidad de la comida es buena, los restaurantes también están muy bien. Las actividades de animación para adultos están bien, aunque quizás faltaría organizar alguna más. Para niños hay muchísimas, pero no para adultos. La calidad del descanso es muy buena, en las habitaciones no se oyen ruidos. Punto muy negativo es que a las 8 de la mañana ya están casi todas la hamacas de la piscina llenas, por lo que si quieres una te toca madrugar. Creo que un hotel de esta categoría es inaceptable que se permita reservar hamacas. Ya que lo hacen podrían quitar el cartel de que está prohibido, porque realmente es un gran punto negativo. Nosotros vamos a descansar y si tenemos que madrugar para tener una hamaca en la piscina es empezar el día con mal pie. Es posible no dejar reservar hamacas, ya que en el h10 White Suites que está muy cerquita no lo permiten, y es algo muy de agradecer. Tambien me gustaria comentar que no debemos olvidar que estamos todavía en época COVID y muchos de los turistas extranjeros iban por zonas cerradas del hotel sin mascarilla, incluso en el buffet a la hora de ir a coger la comida por lo que se paseaban por delante de la comida sin mascarilla. Se que el personal del hotel no son policias y en ocasiones se veía como le pedían a huespedes que se la pusieran, pero dada la situación de pandemia que vivimos quizás deberían sobre todo en el buffet reforzar el personal y hacer hincapié en que no se puede ir sin mascarilla.”

“The location was great and the facilities were nice but that's where the positives ended for my family. The food was some of the worst I've ever had (cold and/or just poor tasting). I complained about the food on one occasion but the waitress didn't seem to care. It also felt like we had to ask reception 2 to 3 times before anything was done (which is not what you expect from a "5-star" resort). For example, our sheets were replaced one day with stained sheets (looked like a fake tan and some sort of greenish stain). I had to call reception twice (allowing about 2 hours between each call) and on the second call, reception's response was, "so you just want new sheets?" in a sarcastic tone. For me, what you see on the website is not what you get. In my opinion, this place does the bare minimum and it was an unpleasant stay for my family.I'm not surprised with the 5-star reviews as my sister-in-law was offered (and accepted) a bottle of cava by a member of staff for showing she left a 5-star review.”
