We absolutely loved our stay, the common areas and rooms are very well designed and comfortable, the staff is very friendly and helpful, breakfast is amazing, the pool is lovely, the location is great, very upmarket. Minor, minor suggestions for improvements - (1) the shared cutlery at breakfast (e.g. to pick fruit) tended to be quite sticky - there were hand disinfection stations nearby but they were empty on some of the days of our visit. Maybe consider replacing the cutlery more often, and ensure there’s plenty of sanitiser available. (2) sound isolation is very good but we could still hear the beat of the loud music on the roof on weekend days. Granted, I’m a light sleeper and used earplugs but I wonder if turning the music down 5db wouldn’t solve the problem without making the party any less enjoyable.

Brilliant hotel, completely surpassed our expectations. Feels exclusive and has a more intimate experience (over staying at a larger resort). Whilst the hotel interior and exterior is great, it was the breakfast, dinner that surprised us - lots of options and variation, all at a high standard and restaurant level of service. The staff were friendly, attentive and nothing was too much trouble! Our only comment would be for the parking cost to be lowered. A pleasure to stay here and I would recommend this hotel and area for a relaxing pool / beach holiday. Perfect beach location! Nb - make sure you head into the mountains and national parks for a hike with beautiful views. Also the north of the island has lovely sea swimming pools!

This is a fabulous hotel in a great location. The staff are friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable and multi-lingual. Excellent choice of food and drinks throughout. The hotel is on the beach and the beach is not only great overall but world famous too. Having stayed here before the renovation I can honestly say I have thoroughly enjoyed staying here again and plan to return.

We had a lovely stay here. An absolutely fantastic location directly on the beach, just a tap of your key card away. We enjoyed the beautiful pool, and there is a reasonably sized gym on location too. Rooms are spacious, have excellent blackout curtains, and sufficient aircon. Breakfasts and dinners were exceptional, and we enjoyed almost everything we tasted at the buffet. The a la carte options were beautifully presented and we never waited long. The quality and choice of fruit at the buffet was especially good. Service was fantastic - a big thanks to Laura! Our room was cleaned at the time we requested and we cannot fault the cleanliness. Our only minor complaint is that sound from the hallways was sometimes quite audible, especially neighbours' doors closing, but this was just a minor inconvenience. Overall this is a hotel with exceptional price to quality ratio and one that is easy to recommend.

Room experience: The bathroom has no light and the distribution of the bedroom is not clear. The bathroom is placed at the entrance, the bed after abd the living room at the end. The rubbish is thrown in front of the balconies, which makes a lot of noise during the mornings. Room service: Does not work properly, they don't replenish the shampoos and towels in the room. One day we arrived to the room at 3pm and the room wasn't clean yet. Breakfast: Food trays are pretty small and the replenishment of them takes about 10 minutes, so you have to be expectant for new food to arrive. Apart from that, the fruit trays are the smallest ones and they only have one person preparing them, so you'll better be fast. The things you order to the kitchen take about 30 minutes or more to get cooked, which makes it pretty difficult to coordinate tour breakfast correctly. They don't pick up the plates regularly and it is difficult to make space in the table. Dinner: It is always the same buffet, few changes of the food they serve between each day and they reuse the food from previous days. To sum up, the best part is the swimming pool, which makes it a hotel for tacky people to show of by just taking photos in the swimming pool. If I had to give a rating, in terms of facilities I would give it 4 stars and in terms of service, 2 stars.

Hotel muito bom nas dunas de Maspalomas. Paragem de autocarro central não muito longe. Os quartos são muito limpos, bem mobilados e os funcionários são invariavelmente simpáticos. Também deve ser recomendado em termos culinários!

Excelente hotel bien situado y con muy buen servicio. Todo en si es muy recomendable y cuentan con una piscina y jacuzzi todo ello rodeado con tumbonas de sobra para todos.

Me encantó pasar una semana con mi esposo disfrutando de la piscina, el mar, buena comida y el bar. Muy recomendable para parejas que buscan relajarse y lo mejor es el excelente desayuno buffet y comida. El personal muy amable.

Lugar tranquilo y perfecto para pasar un día relajante, habitaciones actualizadas (Modernas). El único inconveniente que tiene es en recepción no atiende con la mayor rapidez posible, para poder aprovechar tu alojamiento pagado. En mi caso en la llegada me hicieron esperar una hora y que me avisaría por el móvil y nunca fue así después de una hora acudí sin recibir respuesta...casualidad de que se les había olvidado a avisarnos, teniendo en cuenta que estábamos esperando justo en su sala de espera dónde es visible ver al personal.

I've been a guest here many times, so its fair to say I'm a fan. Apart from an excellent beach location, the main draw is the staff, who have always been most welcoming. Food is another attraction, and there is very good wine list. Some bedrooms all a little dated, but I understand an update is scheduled for 2019.

Great hotel in a perfect position on the beach front. Staff were very attentive and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and a good choice for the evening meal. Room was big with comfortable beds. Only negative was the noise from the demolition site (Rui Palace Hotel) was did prevent us from using the balcony during the day and did wake us up early if the balcony door was open. Would book again but in a room at the front to avoid the noise.

Only after staying a couple of nights in IFA Faro I am already in love (and still 5 days to go!) I travel a lot and as a single woman often alone so it really makes a difference if a hotel is lovable or not. Perfect location, service-minded and polite staff, extra service like your own sunbed for the whole stay, excellent food, quiet (oldish) guests, no crying babies or music by the pool... I will absolutely recommend IFA Faro for any demanding visitor needing silence and relaxing, it is really worth of money. I am ranking the hotel for a 5-star hotel even though my room would need some new painting and extra attention to small details like spots on the walls and ugly, old-fashioned curtains. Or Am I still too young for the target group? 😉
