We were informed that they were undergoing renovations but this was pure filth and not associated with the renovations. We did not stay. We went to the Wyngate up the road.”

It was FILTHY! We couldn't even take our shoes off! We were absolutely disgusted by the dirty floors& carpets and the bathroom facilities were deplorable. Everything smelled of smoke and mildew. We were informed that they were undergoing renovations but this was pure filth and not associated with the renovations. We did not stay. We went to the Wyngate up the road.

Worst Hotel ever. Traveling at night with a 3 Year old. We were tired and looking for a place to rest. We checked in at approx 2:00 AM. The room they gave us didn't even exist . So here we are with a 3 Year Old at 2:00AM in the morning with the clerk looking for another room. Hotel smelled like smoke and mildew. The room had mold around the tub/shower. The trash can had garbage in the bottom that looked like it had been there for ages. It was so nasty. Not to mention the roaches that was crawling along baseboard in hallway. Put our do not disturb sign on door . At 7-8:00 AM, Banging on door and then housekeeping just opened door and came into our room. I would not recommend anyone to stay there. If we wasn't so tired and knew that we could of drove a bit further..We would have. So, I set in chair all night . So my family could rest.

1st room wouldn't lock. Second room reeked of smoke. 3rd room we decided to stay in had the hot water ripped out of the wall, leaving only a hole in its place removing the option of taking a shower off the table (didn't see that until the following morning). The woman screaming obscenities on the room next door was a nice touch. So why 2 stars? Staff was very nice and tried to help. Only so much you can do with a place in such disrepair. They are apparently in the midst of a remodel so hopefully this condition will change in the future.

Worst experience ive ever had at a hotel, i wish i could post the pictures i took of my room. The light switch to the bathroom was completely hanging out the wall with wires showing and let me remind you NEXT TO A SINK WITH RUNNINGM WATER. The toilet tank had no water in it for us to flush the toilet, we had to manually do it with the valve. I couldnt even have a light to use the bathroom i had to use my cellphone light to see. The coffee machine in the room smelt something horrid like its never seen disinfectant in its life. Behind the toilet paper was yellow dots everywhere which is obviously urine. I had to wear shoes in the bathroom because the floor was sticky (i had to wash my feet off) and something that they are SUPPOSED to have is the breakfast. Not one person around for breakfast. I stayed one night and was terrified of my health and my safety knowing the lady who works on nights was neeeever behind the desk always in the back office fixing her hair. We waited 30 mins till someone came up front. NEVER AGAIN if i could give this hotel no stars i would.
