Localização! Localização! Localização! A vista do quarto voltada para o rio era linda! Não há dúvida sobre isso, mas não houve serviço de limpeza durante a nossa estadia. Restaurante era decente, mas um pouco caro. Se você ficar aqui, certifique-se de obter o pacote de café da manhã junto com o quarto. Jardins e locais para caminhar, andar ou correr ficavam bem perto do rio. Ao longo do rio havia várias lojas e lugares para comer. O hotel fica a uma curta caminhada do centro da cidade, onde você pode fazer compras. Esta cidade seria realmente linda, mas EM TODOS OS LUGARES que você olha, há pichações de gangues e, aparentemente, a cidade não faz nada para impedir ou removê-los com base na idade em que parece estar visível. Uma pena, realmente, porque há realmente algumas vistas inspiradoras das pontes e edifícios.

Observação: a chance de seu quarto estar pronto para o check-in às 16h é quase zero. Eles culparão Covid. É realmente porque eles têm apenas uma ou duas pessoas limpando quartos. Muitas pessoas frustradas vagando pelo saguão e pela área frontal tentando descobrir o que fazer enquanto espera (não há estacionamento na rua). A vista do rio é a melhor parte do hotel, junto com o lobby aconchegante, mas pequeno, e a política que aceita cães. O quarto e o design de interiores são aconchegantes e convidativos. A recepção é irritável, passivo-agressiva e não quer ajudar muito. Não há desculpas pela falta de disponibilidade dos quartos. Eles anunciam bicicletas gratuitas, mas tornam muito difícil tirar uma delas. A “academia” é um pouco patética. Você tem grandes chances de ser cobrado com a taxa errada. O estacionamento custa US $ 45 por dia, mais gorjetas e, embora você possa encontrar algum na rua por menos, o centro de Portland não é super seguro, por isso parece vagaroso estacionar fora do local.

Location! Location! Location! Room view facing the river was gorgeous! No question about that, but there was no maid service during our stay. Restaurant was decent, but a little pricey. If you stay here make sure you get the breakfast package along with room. Grounds and places to walk, ride or run was right by the river. Along the river were several shops, and places to eat. The hotel sits within walking distance of downtown where shopping is available. This city would truly be gorgeous, but EVERYWHERE you look, there is gang graffiti, and apparently, the city does nothing to thwart or remove it based on the age it appears it's been visible. A shame really, because there are truly some awe inspiring views of the bridges and buildings.

Note: the chance that your room will be ready for 4pm check-in is almost zero. They will blame Covid. It’s really because they have just one or two people cleaning rooms. Sure- there is a labor shortage, but if you are paying for and expecting access to your room on time, I recommend another hotel. Lots of frustrated folks wandering around the lobby and front area trying to figure out what to do while waiting (there is no street parking.)
The River view is the best part of the hotel, along with the warm, but small lobby, and the dog-friendly policy.
The room and interior design are warm and inviting.
The front-desk are irritable, passive-aggressive, and unwilling to help with much. There are no apologies for the lack of room readiness. They advertise free bikes but make it really difficult to take one out. The “gym” is a bit pathetic. You stand a strong chance of being charged the wrong rate. The parking is $45 a day plus tips, and although you can find some down the street for less, downtown Portland is not super safe, so it feels sketchy parking off site.

Quem reclama é uma Karen, este hotel é MARAVILHOSO. A equipe é SUPER amigável. Meu quarto não estava pronto às 16h, o que foi péssimo depois de dirigir 18 horas direto, mas Kaspian na recepção se certificou de que eu estava confortável enquanto esperava. Ela me trouxe um pouco de vinho, ofereceu lanches, ligou para a arrumação para pegar um eta e olhou para ver se havia outros quartos disponíveis para me mudar para que eu pudesse descansar. Kaspian também me ajudou a fazer reservas para o jantar em um bistrô italiano muito agradável e se ofereceu para me levar até lá. Experiência MUITO, MUITO agradável com Kaspian e o resto da equipe Kimpton.

Anyone who complains is a Karen, this hotel is WONDERFUL. Staff is SUPER friendly. My room wasn't ready at 4pm which sucked after driving 18 hours straight but Kaspian at the front desk made sure I was comfortable while waiting. She got me some wine, offered snacks, called housekeeping to get an eta and looked to see if there was any other rooms available to move me into just so I could rest. Kaspian also helped me make dinner reservations at a very nice Italian bistro and offered to walk me over. VERY VERY pleasant experience with Kaspian and the rest of the staff at Kimpton.

Este hotel parecia cansado. A localização em Portland é ótima e segura, mas a área não é tão bonita quanto o site faz você acreditar. Os quartos estavam cansados e não havia opções de refeições no quarto de segunda a quinta-feira (embora o site diga todos os dias). This hotel felt tired. The location in Portland is good and felt safe, but the area is not as beautiful as the website will have you believe. The rooms were tired and there was not In-room dining options Monday-Thursday (even though the website says everyday). We even called down for a bottle of water one night around 8pm and there was nothing available. Disappointing if you are looking for a luxury experience, but a safe place to stay for a quick overnight.

A vista para o rio e o lobby são lindos. O quarto também é super limpo com comodidades completas e agradáveis. O hotel oferece bicicletas gratuitas para você emprestar. É altamente recomendável pegar emprestadas as bicicletas para pedalar ao longo do rio. A ciclovia é segura e tem boas vistas.

The river view and the lobby are both beautiful. The room is also super clean with complete and nice amenities. The hotel offers free bicycles for guests to borrow from. Highly recommend borrowing the bikes to cycle along the river. Bike lane is safe and has good views.
