Front desk staff did not greet us when we passed the front desk - no one assisted with doors or even simply acknowledged us, even when we were carrying large bags. The room (1105) was the smallest we stayed in, in all of Italy, and an especially poor room for the price. We stayed at many other five star hotels on our trip and this room was by far the worst. We were also told we were “upgraded” to this room with a “view of the garden” (which was just looking out at the roof of the garden - no view whatsoever.) If that was the upgraded room, I can’t imagine what the standard deluxe king room looks like. The blow dryer didn’t work, our waters were not replaced, and the light in the closet would not turn off at night. There were wine stains on the carpet in the hallways, and there were men doing construction in the hallway ceiling next to our room. Venice was stunning, but this place felt far from glamorous. I’m sure if we hadn’t just come from staying at an immaculate Rosewood property just prior to this one we wouldn’t have been so disappointed - but given they were almost the same price, it’s hard to say this St. Regis is a true five star resort.”

We have stayed at many St. Regis properties and this one was quite a disappointment.Front desk staff did not greet us when we passed the front desk - no one assisted with doors or even simply acknowledged us, even when we were carrying large bags.The room (1105) was the smallest we stayed in, in all of Italy, and an especially poor room for the price. Best thing about the hotel is an amazing view at their bar/ restaurant, location is great and the rooms are very elegant. Food was bad for such a high end hotel. The breakfast was a nightmare. Food came cold. Took about 20-30 minutes every morning to receive tea. Add an additional hour if you’re ordering from their A la carte menu. Reception and check-in experience was not the best. For the amount of money you pay against the service you get, you're better off looking for a different hotel!

Lo mejor del hotel es una vista increíble en su bar / restaurante, la ubicación es excelente y las habitaciones son muy elegantes. La comida era mala para un hotel tan lujoso. El desayuno fue una pesadilla. La comida se enfrió. Tomó alrededor de 20-30 minutos cada mañana para recibir el té. Agregue una hora adicional si está ordenando de su menú a la carta. I recentemente se hospedaram no St. Regis em Veneza por duas noites e teve um excelente. A propriedade é linda. Chegamos em um táxi aquático e paramos direto no cais privado. Nosso quarto incluía um terraço na cobertura com uma vista incrível do Grande Canal. O hotel também dispõe de um belo restaurante e lounge no jardim para comidas e bebidas, com vista para o grande canal. Também tem uma localização central e perto da piazza, restaurantes, ponte Rialto e muito mais. O melhor de tudo é o concierge, Marco, que nos deu as melhores recomendações para almoço e jantar. Cada recomendação foi um sucesso. Obrigado, Marco! Estou ansioso para voltar ao St. Regis Venice.

Estructura elegante y contemporánea. Ubicación encantadora con impresionantes vistas de la Madonna della Salute, Punta della Dogana y la Isla de San Giorgio. Excelente cocina. Excelente y hermoso hotel con una ubicación excepcional. El servicio es profesional sin ser autoritario. El desayuno es excelente y se puede disfrutar en el canal. El restaurante sirve comida de muy alta calidad. Las habitaciones están modernizadas y ofrecen todas las comodidades modernas, sin embargo, no se ha perdido el toque clásico y la elegancia en general. Las vistas del gran canal desde nuestra suite son impresionantes. Nos sentimos como si tuviéramos el mejor lugar en toda Venecia viendo la Regata desde nuestras ventanas :)

Excelente e bonito hotel com uma localização excepcional. O serviço é profissional sem ser arrogante. O café da manhã é excelente e pode ser apreciado no canal! O restaurante serve comida de alta qualidade. Os quartos são modernizados e oferecem todos os confortos modernos, no entanto, o toque geral clássico e a elegância não foram perdidos. As vistas do grande canal de nossa suíte são de tirar o fôlego. Sentimo-nos como se tivéssemos o melhor local de Veneza a ver a Regata das nossas janelas :)

I recently stayed at the St. Regis in Venice for two nights and had an excellent time. The property is gorgeous. We arrived in a water taxi and pulled right up to the private dock. Our room included a rooftop terrace with an incredible view of the Grand Canal. The hotel also has a beautiful restaurant and garden lounge for food and drinks with a view of the grand canal. It’s also centrally located and close to the piazza, restaurants, Rialto bridge, and more. Best of all is the concierge, Marco, who gave us the best recommendations for lunch and dinner. Every recommendation was a hit. Thank you, Marco! I’m looking forward to coming back to the St. Regis Venice.

Excellent and beautiful hotel with an exceptional location. Service is professional without being overbearing. The breakfast is excellent and it can be enjoyed on the canal! The restaurant serves very highly quality food. The rooms are modernised and provide all the modern comforts however the overall classic feel and elegance has not been lost. The views of the grand canal from our suite is breathtaking. We felt as if we had the best spot in the whole Venice watching of the Regatta from our windows :)

Solo podemos evaluar nuestra cena de manera excelente, no solo por la calidad de la comida y su excelente preparación, sino también por las otras dos condiciones que consideramos necesarias para justificar una nota completa, a saber, la ubicación y el servicio. Sentarse frente a la Basílica della Salute y la Punta della Dogana invitados de un edificio que rebosa historia y encanto ya es un privilegio. Só podemos avaliar o nosso jantar de forma excelente, não só pela qualidade da comida e pelo seu excelente preparo, mas também pelas outras duas condições que consideramos necessárias para justificar uma nota máxima, nomeadamente a localização e o serviço. Estar em frente à Basilica della Salute e aos hóspedes de Punta della Dogana de um edifício que transborda de história e charme já é um privilégio. O serviço foi verdadeiramente protagonista graças a uma equipa qualificada, educada e simpática. Você percebe imediatamente que a equipe está muito unida e motivada, parabéns. Concluo com o entusiasmo de voltar o mais breve possível com os nossos filhos e / ou outros casais de amigos. Também tivemos muita sorte porque a lua cheia e uma brisa marítima muito agradável nos fizeram companhia…. Noite 10 e elogios.

5 star hotel, service and location! As a Marriott Ambassador, I spend over 100 nights a year in Marriott properties globally, and the St Regis is comfortably one of the top 5 that I have stayed at. The location (a 5 minute walk from St Mark's Square) is phenomenal. As to be expected with a St Regis, the service quality was outstanding and nothing was too much effort.The courtyard is a beautiful area for afternoon drinks and similarly the restaurant situated alongside it is a wonderful location for dinner in the evening. Unsurprisingly the food quality was exceptional.Regarding the rooms, obviously a very modern style which might not appeal to those looking for a more historic Venetian style - if that is what you are after, go to the Gritti Palace next door. For me, I prefer all the modcons of a 21st century hotel and this ticks every box.

Great location with very nice staff. Rooms were modern and nice. Bathrooms were also fantastic.The only complaints I have are:The AC was not cooling at all which felt a little miserable whilst trying to sleep at night;The bathroom had dried feces on the bidet which has not been cleaned properlyThe room service rang the bell at 9:30 for housekeeping?!Other than that, all great.

We arrived at Saint Régis for two nights weekend on June 25, 2021.I travel very often all over the world but here really no complaints, everything was 20/20.The hotel is located in the heart of the city, an ideal location when you want to visit Venice.We were greeted by the General Manager of the Hotel Patrizia who was very welcoming and kind to us.We also met Sara Zanettin (Account Director) during our stay who did everything to make our stay very pleasant, she is ultra professional.The breakfast is exceptional for the quality of its service and the products used (the dishes are amazing).We had lunch at noon, a seafood platter at the hotel restaurant, it was perfect. The luxury room, with a view and a breathtaking terrace over all of Venice. Very modern room with very good quality body products.The concierges were very helpful and very pleasant.The most beautiful shops are at the doorstep of the hotel and Saint Mark's Square is a 2-minute walk away.Can't wait to come back in September for another weekend.We always tend to bring up the negative, but here really, we have to bring up the excellence of this establishment.Best hotel in Venice !!! ! Truly out of this world. I can hardly find the words to say how great this place is and how superlative a service the hotel staff provides. I stayed for 3 days for work and genuinely appreciated the relentless helpfulness, solicitude, and professionalism of the staff. Rooms are comfortable but the biggest plus is the location of the hotel, literally steps away from San Marco square. If you can stop by for breakfast on the terrace you won’t repent it. That view is just priceless. 10 out of 10 for this Hotel, and I hope I get a chance to come back in the future . Thanks for a truly excellent stay.

Verdaderamente excelentes desayunos y cenas, con la presentación por parte del personal de los ingredientes y sobre todo la demostrada competencia en la materia, el amor por su rol. Los sabores del sur en el plato calentaron nuestro paladar. Warm yet refined service by the most precious staff, many locals who will share their stories. The best hotel experience you can find in Venice, friends who’ve stayed at the Aman and Gritti envied the view and huge modern windows —Can you top waking up to Santa Maria della Salute and the Punta Dogana every morning? Swing open the french windows and pretend the gathering gondoliers are serenading you in a Byronic epic poem. (If Lord Byron had stayed at the St Regis he wouldn’t have excused himself to the monastic island.)If you’ve shopped around for hotel rooms in Venice you know how hard space and modern amenities are to come by. Everything is newly renovated (2019) and state-of-the-art. The location is unparalleled, you’re exactly 0 mins from San Marco and more importantly Hermes and Cipriani. I’m completely ruined for all future Biennale visits. Was here last year during acqua alta and I can not say enough about how swimmingly the staff handled everything. From pre-arrival consulting on itinerary to butler’s welcome tea service. Please donate to Save Venice if you’re staying here. Save Venice! Will be back as soon as Americans are allowed.

Embora os quartos sejam pequenos, a equipe do St Regis faz você se sentir uma rainha. Em particular os concierges, mas todos são extremamente educados e bem-educados. Belo hotel no grande canal. Bem renovado e acolhedor. O café da manhã servido parcelado deixa um pouco perplexo (primeiro cappuccino sem açúcar, depois com poucos minutos o suco de toranja, leite com cereais, iogurte com frutas e só no final pão croissant, manteiga e geléia) e a falta de bidê no banheiro.

Hermoso hotel en el gran canal. Bien renovado y acogedor. El desayuno servido en cuotas deja un poco desconcertante (primero capuchino sin azúcar, luego con unos minutos de diferencia el zumo de pomelo, leche con cereales, yogur con fruta y solo al final pan croissant, mantequilla y mermelada) y la falta de bidé en el baño.

Although the rooms are small, the staff at the St Regis make you feel like a queen. In particular the concierges but everyone is exceedingly polite and well-mannered. The concierges are true gems when it comes problem-solving or getting you a table at a particular restaurant. They give you advice about the city and they know a lot about the history of the region. The breakfast terrace overlooking the Grand Canal offers a unique view.

One of the most memorable experiences! This beautiful hotel is located at the heart of Venice in a quiet area and can be accessed by foot or by taxi-boat. The rooms are clean, beautiful, modern, and vibrant. However, this property offers you more than just accommodation, it offers you an unforgettable experience. We stayed at the St Regis Venice for 2 nights and were greeted by Philippe (Chief Leader) who provided us with A+ service throughout our entire stay. He even made sure our puppy was taken care as soon as we checked in! We were then greeted by our butler, Rachel who is very passionate about her job and she made our stay an unforgettable experience by going above and beyond! During our stay, there were some issues with our TV and when reported to the front desk, Elisa managed the service recovery very professionally and made sure the rest of our stay was excellent. The above employees have made our stay unforgettable and really brought the values of the brand to life. One of our favourite part of Venice was the service offered by this amazing team. Exquisite interior decors, great service, good bar and restaurant, very clean, gorgeous views of the Grand Canal at the Basilica di Santa Maria level. With 10% occupancy due to the pandemic, this is a lifetime opportunity to visit Venice. Best recommendations. The staff is really pleasant and professional. The rooms top quality and super clean. Breakfast is of highest quality and taste. Good location, nice inner yard with olive trees and waterfront, water taxi location. One of the most exceptional stays.

Gorgeous, modern hotel in one of the most picture perfect settings Venice has to offer, BUT the service and outlets don’t quite live up to the high St. Regis service (yet)Looking forward to the next visit when the restaurant, bar (the spritz cart seemed MIA, getting refills was a quest) and housekeeping staff (again long waits, no smiles) is fully trained, and the restaurant’s really ready, too. Only had one short St. Regis Butler encounter and it didn’t make us want to repeat the lackluster moment.Compliments go to the front desk team, especially Elsa and Mario who went above and beyond.

Although I had a wonderful stay at the Westin Europa & Regina in the past, this is a note that the hotel as been renamed St. Regis Venice after a major renovation in 2019.

With a great location, this hotel makes it convenient to enjoy the most out of Venice and its channels. Really disappointed with the service and staff, not even close from other 5 stars hotels I have experienced, and also below other Westin hotels (eg. Westin Grand Berlin). For similar price, I believe it is possible to find hotels in Venice which provides better service and overall experience while still being well located.

Professional and friendly staff. Right on the Grand Canal overlooking Santa Maria Della Salute. Stunning decorated lobby with marbled floor. Rooms are spacious and we'll furnished in old Europe styles. All these come with a price to match of course.

Very good location, very warm welcome by the receptionist. Nice rooms. Great view. . Very classy looking hotel. Over priced. Waiters need more training on how to smile and welcome the guests.

Lavish, classy... Suites are spectacular, views of the Grand Canal from the patio are even more spectacular. Suites offer fully marble bathrooms (floor to ceiling), seating rooms with sofa, chairs and a worktable. King size bed in the BR, Bose speakers in the seating area, full sized toiletries in the bathroom, his and hers toilets (bidet on one). Luxuries too numerous mention. An experience over a simple "stay" to be sure.

Fabulous location and beautiful hotel!

This review is long overdue but we had such a wonderful time here that I wanted to be sure to write about our stay. We loved Venice and much of that is due to staying at the Westin Europa & Regina...

Disappointed.

The rooms were very old, not very clean, dusty, house-keeping is poor. The location is good the lobby is fine but the rooms atmosphere is very bad. I would prefer to try other hotels than visiting...
