The room and offerings were acceptable, but Merky Dade, the "Guest Service Manager", was highly confrontational. My key was deactivated while we were at breakfast (hours before our check out time) so we were locked out. He asked my room number and provided a new key (did not verify my identity), but acted annoyed and offered zero apology for the issue. It was strange, but I said nothing about it. My mother went down and asked to have her key replaced as well, but he turned her away stating that they already received a request for a new key for our room and so would need an ID from her? Meaning he could have given our key to a stranger and then would refuse us one even if it was actually our room. Meanwhile, both of our IDs were in the room so if a stranger got our key, there would be no way for us to even provide an ID to get a new one ourselves. When I questioned the policy, or why our keys were deactivated in the first place, he ended up screaming at me (not exaggerating) that it wasn't HIM that deactivated them, so no apology was necessary for the inconvenience (clearly not understanding that in customer service, you and your systems represent the business that employs you). Overall, I have never experienced such abhorrent "service". Will not be going back, or recommending.

Our hotel experience was excellent! From the moment we walked in, the staff was friendly, attentive, and helpful. The room was perfect for two people, and neither of us felt cramped for space.

Def on my “do not stay unless last resort” list for two cities hotels. The price is competitive but this 3.5 star hotel feels like a $60 a night motel six. Rooms are small. Rooms are inconveniently far away from all doors seemingly. And strange clientele. Feels line a rowdy low budget hotel at night. Just one of those places where you stay and you wish you just paid $40 more for a legit nice hotel.

The sink in the bathroom was nasty when I got there, there was a draft/hole in the window which made it so I had to blast the heat to balance out the temp in our Minnesota winters, but the bed was Nice nice, and I only paid like $100/night, so it balanced out. Workers there, also a big plus. They were pretty cool, could tell they actually cared.

Unprecedented life circumstances had occurred and thought it would be a nice place to stay. I was surprised because I thought it was going to be a hellhold but very nice. Newly renovated and all that good stuff. Oh yeah the breakfast hits every morning 😊. Cleanest well kept hotel managers I've seen! Will return again

Hotel W is a great place to stay while in the city. This hotel offers chic and modern rooms with an art deco flare. The accomodations were superb in and out of the room. The lounge was fabulous for drinks before heading out. The location was great and very close to everything in San Francisco. I will be returning!

Super nice staff. They are under construction when we were there and so things were a little janky but the friendly staff compensated greatly. The concierge Mike was super friendly and actually upgraded our room.

Decided to stay here last minute because I was traveling early to escape a storm coming the next day. I booked a room prior to starting my trip and didn't know until I arrived that they were renovating. I wasn't real pleased with this because it meant the continental breakfast had no seating area. What they provided wasn't terrible, microwave breakfast sandwiches, fruit, yogurt, juice and coffee. It was all crowded into the hallway around the front desk. Also all the added construction equipment made a cramped parking lot. After popping out for an early morning appointment I went back to my room to take a nap before checking out. While the construction noise didn't bother me, it did prevent my wife from getting any shut eye. The actual room was a little on the small side. The bed was acceptably comfortable. My particular room was no frills, no microwave and no mini fridge. There was a decent ac/heater unit that I ran all night with out getting too hot. The room did include a tv in the mid 30ish size range, can't really comment on the programming available though; I didn't watch it. About the only bright spot of staying there was the lady running the front desk in the morning, she was very attentive to the continental breakfast and helped me with the timing of the microwave. All in all, good stay despite the unpleasant surprise.

Very clean hotel great customer service the rooms are nice, plus with my bought. They have morning breakfast working room and big parking lot. basically all what you need for a few days and you are in downtown Minneapolis , few minutes from the mall few minutes from the airport and you are close to downtown . Although it's all your choice if you want to spend too much money for one night or use that one night money for multiple lot nights here. Thanks y'all

The hotel stay was nice, the bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning was amazing. I also left my debit card and necklace and they were able to recover both. Although the necklace did get mixed up in the lost and found, Andrew the manager was a pleasure to work with and never gave up looking. We had thought it was lost but Andrew was able to find it and took the extra time to even watch the videos and contact other employees to track it down. Overall I am very pleased.

Did a lot of work & remodeling of the old Super 8. A whole lot better. Entrance completely remodeled and a lot more pleasing. Breakfast/eating area big improvement. Free beverage offer was nice...

You won't find a friendlier, more helpful staff. One of the better complimentary breakfasts I've experienced. Hotel isn't fancy, but clean, nice, quiet and comfortable. Its location is easy to get to...

It was a nice place! We drove in so it is really close, like across the street, to a gas station was great. They also offer a ride service which was GREAT for us not being familiar with the area...
