“I stayed here for 2 weeks and both weeks were great! When I checked in.. the lady was super friendly and it was a great first impression as she was one of the first people I met out here in Cali. She told me that the cleaners would be coming by every two days to clean up (new towels, make beds, etc.) and once a week to deep clean and they did just that! On my last few nights here.. my bath tub was getting stopped up.. I called the front desk and they immediately sent someone up and they fixed it for me! I would 100% recommend this place to anyone coming to visit San Diego! I would suggest a room with a balcony too because it was so nice and made my stay even better!!”

“Great location, especially at this price! Of course I had to stay at a Courtyard while in San Diego to have a hotel room with rich mahogany. I was a bit disappointed the hotel did not have many leather-bound books, but oh well. My only real complaint about the hotel was the staff did not work to resolve the issues I had, despite my being a higher-up Marriott elite member. The smart TV did not work at all, so I had to watch Ron Burgundy on my laptop while eating tacos and staring at the rich mahogany. They said I could call the front desk and we could get IT on the phone and troubleshoot the TV. Right, because that's what I want to do on vacation. I was staying here 4 nights, so it's kind of a big deal — and I am a big deal (I wasn't sure how to tell them this or that "people know me", so I just didn't. They apparently did not like my complaint and sent it right back after I put it out there.) One of the things I love about San Diego is their airport is right downtown. I actually prefer staying in the Liberty Station are to actually staying downtown. You're closer to the airport, still by the water, and close to great shopping/dining. There is a walking trail directly by the hotel; you can walk along the inlet and watch planes land — or cross the street and walk along the bay. After seeing folks post photos overlooking the pool, I would definitely pay extra for that level of room in the future. The pool itself was wonderful and felt like you were at a resort, not a Courtyard Marriott. Well done.”
