“The place is okay...its not high end. For the price, I just expected more. Even though its SC, it would be nice if they screened in the balconies. You can tell they tried to update the finishes, but fell short in a few areas. One being their "enhanced" cleaning procedures.Good thing is I always travel with cleaning supplies. The kitchen and bath were the cleanest areas on a scale of Not Clean At All to Fair. All other high touch areas like dining room chairs, end tables and night stands were filthy!We were also greeted by a roach in the dishwasher.That just confirmed the age of the resort and the band-aid updates that's been attempted. Due to COVID, all activities on site were canceled. As such, I feel they shouldn't charge for the Bike Rentals.Even if the pandemic wasn't the case, I've stayed at other resorts where there was no charge for Bike usage. Another issue I had was the linens...it felt like I was sleeping in paper bags! They were stiff, hard and didn't provide for the most restful sleep.I guess the best part of the resort is the location...it's away from the congestion of the other resorts.Also, SlapFish restaurant was pretty good!”
