Welcome to Europamundo! Upon arriving at the airport, we will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel. Check the information boards in the hotel reception area for details of the welcome meeting with your guide and fellow travelers.

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: City tour of Barcelona. Girona.

In the morning we enjoy a city tour, its Ramblas, the works of Gaudí, and memories of the Olympic Games. Free time. At the end of the afternoon we will go to the north of Catalonia. A stroll in GIRONA and its very beautiful historical center. Its colorful houses stand out, as well as the old Jewish quarter and Cathedral.

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHT: Provenzal region in France.

We leave for France, crossing Provence. We stop in ARLES, a small world heritage city where we will remember Van Gogh, and can see its Roman theatre and small Romanesque churches. Time for a stroll and lunch. We carry on and include admission to CARRIERES DE LUMIERE, an impressive show of art, image and sound underground, in former quarries. CHAMBERY, arrival and accommodation in the charming capital of Savoie, a medieval city with a beautiful old town and a great castle.

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Switzerland with Lakes and Mountains. Chocolate factory. Dinner included.

We travel to Switzerland. GENEVA, arrival. With our guide, we will go to the Palace of Nations (the headquarters of the United Nations in Europe) to the pretty English Garden with its clock made of flowers and we can admire the “Jet d´Eau”, the tallest fountain in Europe. We go on to the picturesque walled village of GRUYERE, known worldwide for its cheese. Free time to stroll and have lunch. Nearby are several of the main chocolate factories in Switzerland (NESTLE amongst them), and we visit the Cailler chocolate factory, with a tasting included!.

After this we go on to CHILLON CASTLE, built in the waters of the lake. Entrance included to this fantastic mediaeval castle. We will continue travelling through smaller roads amidst bucolic mountain landscapes and very picturesque wooden villages.- Arrival in LEYSIN, a beautiful little holiday village with spectacular views of the Rhône plain and Mont Blanc, known for its winter sports resort or its hiking possibilities. Dinner included.

La etapa de hoy tiene paisajes bellísimos de alta montaña. No olvide su ropa de invierno, subimos en teleférico a uno de los puntos más espectaculares de Suiza donde podrá ver el hielo y la nieve todo el año. Incluimos la subida en teleférico a GLACIER 3000, podrá caminar en el puente colgante sobre el vacío entre dos cumbres de montaña, entrar en la Catedral de Hielo o “jugar” en el Fun Park. Parada en INTERLAKEN y tiempo para almorzar. Entre muy pintorescos lagos continuamos a LUCERNA, una de las ciudades más bellas de Suiza.

Nota: en ocasiones, por razones de causa mayor meteorológicas como lluvias o fuertes vientos, el teleférico al Glacier 3000 podrá no operar.

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Baroque Abbey. Heidi’s Village. Journey through beautiful landscapes.

We leave Lucerne driving along the Four Cantons Lake towards EINSIEDELN, its immense baroque abbey is the most important pilgrimage center in Switzerland. After that we continue towards the East of Switzerland. MAIENFELD is the village which inspired Heidi’s story. In HEIDIDORF we will be visiting Heidi’s House (ticket not included. Entry to the facility is free), a picturesque place with beautiful landscapes that we will reach through a pedestrian path. Then we enter into the independent country of Liechtenstein, and its capital city VADUZ with its impressive castle. Time to stroll and have lunch. Subsequently, we go to the neighbor city of FELDKIRCH, in Austria, located next to the borders of Switzerland, Liechtenstein and Germany: charming walled city with a genuine historic city center and a castle. Free time.

Viajamos Alemania. Tiempo para un paseo en LINDAU, en el lago de CONSTANZA, la ciudad antigua se encuentra enclavada en una isla. Seguimos hacia MUNICH, la capital de Baviera.Antes de entrar, conocemos DACHAU donde visitamos el museo sobre el campo de concentración Nazi. A la hora del almuerzo llegamos a MUNICH. Visitamos el impresionante recinto del BMW WELT (mundo BMW) modernísima instalación de exposiciones multifuncional del grupo BMW,, la prestigiosa marca de automóviles alemana y el parque donde se ubica el Olympiastadium de gran belleza arquitectónica y donde se celebraron los famosos juegos olímpicos de 1972; Tras ello tiempo libre en el centro histórico donde podrá disfrutar de las típicas cervecerías.

TODAY´S HIGHLIGHTS: Neuschwanstein. Rothenberg Christmas Museum.

Amidst alpine summits and very beautiful scenery, we travel to FUSSEN and the Neuschwanstein Castle. We get on a bus to Maria Bridge and admire the fantastic scenery from this little bridge between the hills. You can either return on foot or horse and cart (not included). After this, continuing with our romantic route, we travel to ROTHENBURG, a very pretty city surrounded by walls, where we enter the beautiful Christmas Museum (entrance included). Next FRANKFURT, Germany’s financial capital. Arrival in the evening.

TODAY´S HIGHLIGHT: Cruise on the Rhine. Romantic route.

Today we will see the valleys of the Rhine and Mosel, two rivers loaded with history and sprinkled with charming villages. We take a short cruise on the Rhine, between the villages of RUDESHEIM and ST. GOAR, undoubtedly the most picturesque section of the river. Then we will go on to the river Mosel, and will have time for lunch in COCHEM, a very picturesque village on the bank of the river. After that, we travel to BONN, city of music where Beethoven and Schumann lived. Time to stroll in the former capital of the Federal Republic of Germany. In the afternoon we will arrive in COLOGNE, time for a stroll in the busy area of the cathedral before going on to our hotel in DUSSELDORF.

TODAY´S HIGHLIGHT: Coal Mine Industrial Complex.

A stroll in DUSSELDORF, a city on the banks of the Rhine and in the center of Germany’s most industrial region. We continue to ZOLLVEREIN, which is one of the most important points on the “European route of industrial and heritage”, where we visit its Coal Mine Industrial Complex, declared World Heritage. We proceed north bound, stopping in HAMELIN, a city made famous due to the Pied Piper. After following in the footsteps of the mice, we continue to HANNOVER, where we have time to visit the center of this thriving city.

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Visit to the beautiful villages of Goslar and Quedlinburg.

After breakfast, we continue the route to GOSLAR; We are in one of the most beautiful villages of Germany, with its wooden architecture, its walls, its squares. Time to walk. We travel to QUEDLINBURG, a city declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO due to its fascinating historic center of more than 2100 half-timbered girder houses that have managed to survive almost unscathed for centuries. It also noteworthy its town hall and castle. Time for lunch. Continuation to BERLIN. Arrival in the afternoon. Free time.

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: City tour of Berlin. We visit the Holocaust Me­morial and the Berlin Wall Museum.

Ease your way into the local culture with a guided tour of Germany’s incredible capital, Berlin. We will visit the historic center, Museum Island, the Reichstag, the Brandenburg Gate and the city’s magnificent parks. We continue our visit by stopping at the Holocaust Memorial and the Berlin Wall Museum. This visit can help us to understand the difficult situation the city experienced during the Twentieth Century. Free time to explore the city.
