Welcome to Europamundo! Upon arriving at the airport, we will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel. Check the information boards in the hotel reception area for details of the welcome meeting with your guide and fellow travelers.

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: City Tour of Lisbon. Evening transfer.
In the morning we will have a sightseeing tour with a local guide. We will visit the traditional neighborhoods including the Belem district, which is the birthplace of the great Portuguese navigators who sailed the oceans in the Fifteenth Century. We will have a look around the Monument of the Discoveries, Belem Tower, and the beautiful Jeronimos Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy the free afternoon when you are free to explore the city at your own leisure. In the late afternoon, we will have a transfer to the Restauradores Square, a public square with plenty of restaurants and cafes. We suggest you ride the Elevador Da Gloria funicular that takes you to the viewpoint of San Pedro with beautiful views over Lisbon and the Bairro Alto. Return to the hotel.

We will head to the north of Portugal and visit FATIMA, an important sanctuary. We will continue on our way through to PORTO, Portugal’s second largest city. We will have time to have lunch and then go on a sightseeing tour of this city, which sits on the bank of the Duero river, and its historic city centre. We will also include a visit to the old cellars. Free time.

Day 4 - Porto -Bom Jesus Sanctuary -Cambados -Santiago de Compostela

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Cable car ride to the Bom Jesus Sanctuary. Wine and Mussels tasting during the boat trip. Visit to Santiago de Compostela.
On this day we will travel through beautiful landscapes. In the city of BRAGA, we will get on the world’s oldest cable car to ride up to the Santuário do BOM JESÚS, where we will enjoy its gorgeous views. We recommend trekking back down in order to admire its beautiful stairway. Then, we will resume our trip and head to Galicia. We will visit the historic town of CAMBADOS in Rías Baixas where we will go on a glass bottom boat trip in which we will learn about the production of mussels and oysters. Wine and mussel tasting included. At lunchtime we will arrive in SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA, where we will go on a guided tour with a local guide. This town was a famous pilgrimage destination since the Middle Ages.

We will travel along the Camino de Santiago (Way of St. James) to Castile. In LUGO we will have time to visit the historic town center and Roman walls, which were declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will make a stop on route in O CEBREIRO, a small Galician stone village. Arrival in LEÓN at lunchtime, where we will have time to visit the Gothic cathedral with its stained-glass windows and to stroll through the historic town center. We will depart Leon at around 17:00h and arrive in MADRID at around 21.00h.
Note: In case the group is small, the portion of the trip from Leon to Madrid may be done by train or regular transport.

Mañana libre. Por la tarde realizamos una visita panorámica durante la cual conoceremos los puntos monumentales más representativos de la ciudad. Por la noche incluimos un traslado a la Plaza Mayor donde podemos aprovechar para cenar y tomar unos vinos en algún mesón.

Incluimos una excursión a la histórica ciudad de TOLEDO, protegida por el río Tajo. Sus calles medievales nos hablan de historias de cristianos, judíos y musulmanes. Tarde libre en MADRID. Esta noche, si lo desea, le proponemos opcionalmente un espectáculo flamenco.
Day 8 - Madrid -Zaragoza -Poblet -Montserrat -Barcelona

Salimos hacia Aragón atravesando tierras de Castilla. En ZARAGOZA nos detenemos brevemente para conocer la Basílica del Pilar. Tras la hora del almuerzo seguimos hacia el Monasterio de Poblet, rodeado de sus murallas, en un hermoso paraje, es uno de los monasterios medievales mejor conservados del mundo (entrada incluida). Viajamos posteriormente al Monasterio de Montserrat donde incluimos la subida en el tren cremallera para apreciar los fantásticos paisajes. Continuación a BARCELONA, llegada al final de la tarde.
Nota: En algunos casos, dependiendo de los horarios del tren cremallera, la subida a Montserrat se podrá realzar en nuestro autocar. Desde noviembre hasta marzo, debido a la duración más corta de los días, no se realizará ni el ascenso ni la parada en Montserrat.

Por la mañana incluimos una visita panorámica de la ciudad condal, considerada como una de las capitales europeas más interesantes, abierta al mar Mediterráneo, afamada por Gaudí y por su arquitectura modernista sin olvidar sus ramblas y los recuerdos de las Exposiciones Universales y olimpiadas que allí tuvieron lugar. Tarde libre. Por la noche incluimos un traslado para poder cenar y asistir al espectáculo de la Fuente Mágica de Montjuich, con sus ritmos de luz, colores, agua y música.
Nota: en caso de tener el traslado a la Fuente Mágica un día que por mantenimiento o cualquier otra razón el espectáculo no se realice, el traslado nocturno se dará al Maremagnum, vanguardista centro de ocio y restaurantes junto al mar y la Plaza Colón.

Tiempo libre en BARCELONA, podrá usted caminar por el Barrio Gótico, Las Ramblas y visitar la catedral. A las 12:00 h salimos hacia Francia y la Costa Azul atravesando la Provenza francesa. Parada en ruta para almorzar. COSTA AZUL, llegada al final del día.

Esta mañana conocemos la Costa Azul; estamos un breve tiempo en NIZA para disfrutar del paseo de los ingleses. Viajamos entre impresionantes paisajes al Principado Independiente de MÓNACO; en ruta hemos conocido las técnicas de fabricación tradicional de perfumes. Continuamos entre magníficos paisajes por la Rivera Italiana, los Alpes se encuentran con el Mediterráneo. VENECIA, llegada al final del día. Alojamiento en la zona de Mestre.

En VENECIA le incluimos un traslado en barco al centro de la ciudad donde realizamos una visita a pie en la zona de San Marcos. Sobre las 17:00 h salimos hacia FLORENCIA, llegada al final de la tarde

Día en FLORENCIA, por la mañana incluimos una visita panorámica de la ciudad durante la cual conoceremos sus principales atractivos. El centro histórico de la ciudad, las bulliciosas plazas, los puentes sobre el río Arno, las compras en sus mercadillos. Sobre las 16:30 h salimos hacia ROMA, llegada al final de la tarde.

We will enjoy a panoramic tour to give you an introduction to the Eternal City, finishing at St Peter’s in the Vatican, where you will be able to visit the Basilica and museums. In the evening, we transfer to the Trastévere, the busy city district well known for its typical restaurants. Return to hotel.

Salimos de Roma hacia el norte de Italia siguiendo el Mediterráneo. En PISA tendremos ocasión de admirar una de las plazas más bellas de Italia con su Torre Inclinada. Continuamos hacia el norte. TORINO, llegada y alojamiento en la capital del Piamonte.

Nuestra etapa es larga, presenta magníficos paisajes. Cruzamos por el túnel bajo el Mont Blanc, la más alta cumbre de los Alpes. Pasamos por la zona de Chamonix, en el corazón de los Alpes, rodeados por cumbres con nieves eternas. Seguimos ruta hacia GINEBRA. Tiempo para un paseo y almorzar en esta capital Suiza junto al hermoso lago. Continuación por el centro de Francia hacia PARÍS - Llegada sobre las 21:00 h.

Incluimos un traslado al Palacio de Versalles. Podrá pasear por sus hermosos jardines o visitar su interior si lo desea. Iremos tras ello al barrio bohemio de Montmartre, con sus artistas al aire libre y sus pequeños restaurantes. Tiempo para almorzar y continuación con visita panorámica de París con guía local. Regreso al hotel. Opcionalmente podrá asistir a algún espectáculo de variedades.

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Eiffel Tower and boat cruise in the City of Lights. Rouen historic center.
We go to the center of Paris, starting by the Eiffel Tower area. You will have the opportunity to climb up to the second floor of this remarkable metal monument (ticket included). Then, we enjoy a boat cruise along the River Seine, which divides the north of Paris from the south. Enjoy a free afternoon to explore as you choose.
Note: Sometimes queues to climb the Eiffel Tower are long. For organizational reasons, if deemed appropriate, the climb can be made at a different moment of the day.
At around 17:30h we will leave Paris for the Loire Valley. We will arrive in TOURS, regional capital of the Loire, in the late afternoon. We recommend you use your time here to take a stroll and dine in the beautiful historic downtown.

We suggest that you visit the Port of the Moon and St Andrew’s Cathedral. We will then continue our trip and head towards the Pyrenees. LOURDES, arrival in the late afternoon. You can attend the candle procession (which takes place from late March until the end of October) and visit places of worship. We include the dinner at the hotel for all of our passengers.

Salida temprano de Lourdes. Hoy atravesamos los Pirineos entre altas cumbres, muy hermosos paisajes. Siguiendo el camino de Santiago entramos por RONCESVALLES, donde podrá ver la hermosa iglesia colegiata gótica de Santa María. En PAMPLONA, ciudad conocida por sus encierros, tendrá tiempo para almorzar. Seguimos a OLITE, donde impresiona el castillo del siglo XIII, lugar de residencia de los reyes de Navarra. Continuación hacia MADRID. Llegada sobre las 21.00 h.
