“We were a group of 500 guests that had booked from March 4 through March 7. My wife and I decided to go a day early and leave a day later than the rest of the group. Upon check in they asked to be paid about $1000.00 for the two extra nights which they needed to charge in Mexican pesos. Moments later my wife received an email showing that $1700.00 has been charged. This is yet to be resolved. The rooms are fairly small but very clean and comfortable and the cleaning crew does a great job cleaning. The shower is great. One I’ve never seen before. There is a hand held shower head as well as water coming down on you in the entire shower room like it’s raining. On the second day we had to go back to the room to change. Housekeeping was still there and we told them we would sit in the balcony to stay out of the way. They finished cleaning and left. Only to find that they locked us out on the balcony. After screaming at some of our people by the pool, they went to the desk and asked someone to come and let us in. A few minutes later a woman came and opened the door, never said a word and gave us the dirtiest, nastiest look like we bothered her and just turned around and walked out. It seems like the bartenders each make up their own rules. I and most everyone in our group had issues with one bartender or another. Here is a good example. I usually would order a double vodka on ice with a little tomato juice plus a single vodka on ice. I would get served my first drink but some of them would not give me the second saying they don’t serve shots. First, why not, second since when vodka on the rocks is considered a shot. So I would just walk to the other bar by the pool and get the second drink no problems. But some of them would just prepare my drinks when they saw me walking up. I realize this is Mexico and spoken language is Spanish. However most guests are English speaking. A great deal of staff spoke poor English or almost no English. I would think that people at the front desk and concierge should be fluent. It was not the case. The massage and facial according to my wife was wonderful. The preparations with the setup and breakdown for our special events were very fast and efficient and the event were nicely done. We had a chance to eat at 2 of the restaurants. The food is okay but nothing to write home about. We were hoping to have dinner with another couple at the French restaurant on Monday night only to find that it was closed. So we had to get a table at the Italian next door where we were told we need to order quickly, eat and get out. We did not waste time and didn’t even order desert. But when we were leaving, most of the tables were empty and no one was waiting. The breakfast buffet was one of the biggest buffets I had seen with so many choices that went on and on and most of everything I tried was great. That deserves a 10 from me. There is a grill at the pool that serves burgers, hotdogs, fries, pizza and a few other things. The burgers were most delicious and nicely prepared by a gentleman named Ricardo that gets a 9 from me.”

“Ficamos aqui na semana passada (1/6-1/10, 2022) e tudo estava tão limpo. E você se sentiu confortável com a limpeza de todo o resort. (Devido ao covid, a equipe foi extremamente cuidadosa e todos estavam com máscara), as opções de comida eram ótimas, o entretenimento também era bom, eu amo que, não importa em que área você estivesse no resort, havia um bar para bebidas , e os quartos eram de morrer, tivemos uma suíte com vista para o mar, meu marido e eu certamente voltaremos. . . .”
