Saddest golf course in Ottawa. Didn't stay at the hotel. This review is for the poorly kept golf course. Poorly organized. If the golf course is badly maintained and unorganized how could the hotel possibly be better?

The course was pretty good but there were a lot of Geese around and the grass was pretty much all dead. I know the golf course can't really control those factors that much but that was the experience I had. The drink cart also mostly only had alcohol and not really anything else which wasn't the greatest. The course has some shorter holes though which I like because I am not very good at golf.

Was supposed to be a Queen Size bed, I got a double. The bed was NOT COMFORTABLE! Old and hard as a rock. Both my partner and I were sore in the mornings. The comforter (which was kind of grey which must've been white at one point) was wrapped with 2 bed sheets. Construction began around 7:30 am with some drilling. Staff were courteous, not welcoming. My stay did not include continental or any breakfast unbeknownst to me (my lack of research and confirmation) so my first morning cost me $40 for two. (Not worth it). If you're looking for some entertainment, good food, amenities, a comfy bed, peace and quiet? I'd take a pass. Price was right for the size of the room and if you don't mind the short jaunt by car to Ottawa.

Beautiful hotel at this location. Architecture was beautiful. I liked the decor. Great atmosphere. I liked the view from my window of room . I enjoyed the spa. Great section of bar.

Classy hotel. Well-kept and presentable. I was there for a business event and celebration. The venue was welcoming and warm, and cozy. The catering staff really pulled off the menu and the food was quite good. Wait staff was attentive and our table didn't have to ask over and over for water and general service. Very pleased with the conference hall event and experience.

This place is unbelievable! As soon as you walk in, the lobby is elegant. It is a reflection of the Fairmont Chateau Laurier downtown but as nice! I would recommend this hotel to anyone in Canada...
