“Great Hampton Inn but very dated. I travel 50% of the year and stay in many properties and this is the first one in 5 years of traveling which had so much wear and tear on the furniture. I had a broken handle on the toilet which I had to bring to the attention of housekeeping and they fixed up real quick. A day later the light went out and housekeeping had to replace the whole light assembly with one that could use some cleaning. Coffee bar is still using powdered creamer. It is not that hard to get a few containers of half and half or whole milk or almond milk. Breakfast is meh but it’s still more than some locations serve. The train is right next to the hotel so be prepared for random noise when the train runs through. I could not complain as much if prices were low because there’s always the saying you get what you pay for but I was paying $180-$200 a night which is ridiculous for what you get.”

“Unfortunately, the quality and condition of our room and main areas did not meet our expectations. The hotel is in need of a renovation. The carpeting in the hallways will not even allow comfortable rolling of luggage. Our room was a king size suite which I failed to be told was ADA compliant meaning I could not even hang a long dress in the closet. Additionally, shower head was too low and didn’t even adjust to angle so just made a horrible dangerous slippery mess. Our toilet’s flush handle was broken and we had to request to get it fixed (which they did). The hot water was barely functioning at the sink and the sink area had zero storage space due to ADA compliance. The room was extremely noisy at night with train passings and wind drafts on windows seals and in the vent openings (ceilings). Again, carpeting and finishings also could use an update. I would hope that a room serving dual purpose of a suite and ADA compliance could be easily merged with two showers heads and two closet sides for ease of use by all. Lastly, the pool was not working which I am told there is a barely noticeable banner on their website but I called in my reservation due to being part of a wedding party and this was not Disclosed. We had to go to their sister property to swim. I will add that the team members at this hotel were very nice and professional. They were well trained and knowledgeable. 5/5 stars for their team members.”
