“Excellent 4-night stay in town for a convention. Room was immaculately clean, furnishings were practical; building itself blends both historic and new construction; breakfast was hot and plentiful; staff was pleasant and hard-working(thank you!). Halloween decorations were on point. Coffee and tea were always available. 2 Huge dining areas in the hotel, suitable for large groups. Didn't try the pool or gym but both looked great. Krogers supermarket 5 minute walk away, Starbucks basically downstairs on the corner. Canal was picturesque especially with peak fall foliage. 15 minute taxi from the airport. This hotel does what it do very well.”

“The positives - room was very nice, modern, well equipped, clean and the bed was very comfortable as well. The hotel overall is brand new and quite interesting in the way it was integrated with the historical church which is partially still standing. Service overall was fine, though since I checked-in online and did not stop by at the front desk when arriving, I did not receive the regular diamond member gift. I'm not the one who will demand it, and it's not a big deal since it's just two bottles of water, but with some of my past stays that was left in the room when I got there. The not so goods - food was pretty bland. I was staying there for three nights and the same exact breakfast fare was there every morning, no variety. And not too much choice either. Coffee was hard to get at times, but that was maybe the effect of some college teams coming downstairs all at the same time. I was also used to having coffee available in other hotels in the lobby even after breakfast but no luck here. When I asked about that I was gently pointed towards using the coffee machine in the room. Side note - the construction was still going on is some parts of the hotel. For those preferring to use the stairs instead of elevators, this was pretty much impossible here. I hope there won't be any kind of emergency which will require hotel evacuation any time soon as some of the lower exits I've tried to use as a shortcut were blocked by construction debris.”
