“We were very surprised at how much we enjoyed our stay here. For the price of our room we expected it to be lacking in comfort and amenities. We completely wrong. The room was great and the beds were comfy. The pool area was under construction but the actual pool was clean and well maintained. They switched the breakfast every morning and even though there wasn’t a fully stocked gourmet kitchen the lady who cooks there was pumping out some good stuff. (There is an amazing little breakfast place nextdoor if you want to change it up one day.) The staff was friendly and the area was safe and secure. It was a good 15-20 min drive to Minneapolis but was well worth it.”

“We asked for a handicap room as my wife is in a wheelchair, we also said we would be traveling with a pet. Our original room was nat handicap accessible, and we were told there was no other room available. We said ok and started looking for another hotel, then they had one available. Then we were informed that we did not indicate we had a pet when we reserved our room online. And the pet deposit was actually double what we anticipated. We informed the person at the desk we did not reserve the room online, we did it over the phone with this specific location. And gave the name to the employee we spoke with. He was already gone for the day. Staff did give us the room with no pet deposit due to the mix up and an extra discount. The room was musky smelling with a cigarette smell, small and cramped. But the staff was accommodating to our needs”
