A private beach freeform pool spa and Playa Boca Chica beach location a half-mile from Boca Chica town are the highlights of the non-smoking Be Live Hamaca Garden - All Inclusive. The non-smoking all-inclusive Be Live has 355 rooms in a two-floor building on the Be Live Hamaca complex shared by Be Live Hamaca Beach and Be Live Hamaca Suites. Rooms all come with air conditioning coffee/tea makers mini-bars and flat-panel TVs with cable channels. Some rooms have views of the garden. Wi-Fi is available for a fee in the lobby. Sink your toes into the sand on the private beach or slip into the water for a swim in the freeform pool surrounded by a palm-lined deck with thatched roof palapas. You can also play tennis mini-golf or volleyball or go scuba diving catamaran sailing or jet skiing (water sports for a fee). The resort also has two saunas two steam rooms two hot tubs and a full-service spa (massages and treatments for a fee). Guests can dine in a number of restaurants including a Mexican restaurant Dominican restaurant and sea-facing restaurant. The numerous bars include a beach bar live music bar and nightclub. Parking is free of charge. The Be Live Hamaca Garden is on Playa Boca Chica beach about a half-mile south of Highway 3 and the center of Boca Chica town. The resort is 10 miles west of Esmeralda Beach and 22 miles east of Santo Domingo. If you're coming from Las Americas International Airport the resort is seven miles east.

“Wasn't that pricey, about $170.00 per night for 2 ppl. Part of it was closed, because of the pandemia and it wasn't crowded, which was excellent, food wasn't bad, not great but ok.I gave it 3 start because they charge you if you get there before 3pm and want to eat or walk there ($18/pp), but they won't give you towels tickets so you can't hang out on the water and wait for the room and also because there were not hot water on any room.”

Um dos piores hotéis onde me hospedei nos últimos tempos. Fiquei dois dias antes de fazer um cruzeiros, instalações mal conservadas. Com a pressão da água a ducha saltou da parede e caiu na minha cabeça, pedi o conserto as 17h e apareceram depois da meia noite para consertar. No dia seguintealém da ducha quebrada, não tinha água para tomar banho. Voltando do cruzeiros tive que ficar lá mais um dia, chegamos no hotel as 13h, esperamos o check in as 15h, me deram um quarto sem luz, o interfone não funcionava. Pedi para trocar, o outro quarto estava alagado, cheio de insetos mortos boiando na água. Finalmente as 20h, depois de muita discussão e estresse, consegui ser colocada num quarto decente. Funcionários mal educados e displicentes, apenas destaco como BONS profissionais perdidos no caos ADONY da recepção e RICARDO maletero, motivo das duas estrelas. Restaurante deixou a desejar e Wi-Fi não funciona

I am writing this letter after attempting to check in at 3:00 a.m this morning at your hotel Hamaca Garden last night. According to the guidelines , a customer can check in as of 3:00 a.m as per hotel policy and I have it in writing. The policy was sent to me via e-mail after I booked my reservation online. This letter is about the poor condition of customer service with high customer dissatisfaction. My husband and I were treated poorly last night. As a customer contributing in your business we need to get more respect and compassion. The receptionist was very unprofessional and his behavior was inappropriate. Not only he left us at the desk he told the security guard to chase us away. I chose your property after reviewing your website which portrays a completely different picture and attitude compared to reality. This was the worst experience I have had in my entire life and it was completely humiliating.

Had to change my rating after my first night, as my room did not have a refrigerator, control remote and no telephone (to at least call guest services). I also had to wait more than an hour to personally speak with someone in guest services, to no avail. This will indeed be the last time I will stay at this resort. And even though there is a mask mandate in the country, they don't ask for anyone to place there masks. If this is a country law, then they should enforce it.

It's a great place! Love the pool and the beach. You feel safe because your on a private beach. However, two things I didn't like was the hotel needs a upgrade and the food wasn't that great.

Great resort, with great prices. Unfortunately not too many guest but atleast I had a chance to rest and take advantage of the many amenities available. I would definitely return and make sure I get a location near the beach. The staff was friendly and the check-in was fairly quick and hassle free. The room was a bit outdated but still had great views and the bed was comfortable.

Well this is my second resort in Dominican Republic I’m literally sleeping in my third resort tonight . But I didn’t like how there was no wifi in your room although it was all inclusive they were quite stingy on the food and the buffet wasn’t the greatest the rooms were out dated and I stood with my family so the bathrooms were very open meant for a couple so that wasn’t very convenient. Wasn’t the best experience the beach was nice and the pool was big I also went on a nice boat ride and on a biggie ride couple situations here and there . Overall I would do some more research tonight I’m staying at hard rock check out my review I’ve there

If I could rate this no stars I would. This was the worst hotel I have ever been to. The staff had no education in customer service. We booked a garden view room and they gave us a completely different room. The rooms they gave us were disgusting! The toilets were stained, the shower had no water, the AC did not work, and one room flooded! We asked the staff to help us out and change our rooms to the ones we booked or anything that was better than we got. All we got was run around they told us to come back to speak to guest services the next morning. TOMAS told us we were wrong in every thing we were saying he told us we have to understand we are in DR and that their hotel rooms were perfectly fine. He offended us plenty of times and told us to come back after 4 to get new rooms. Later that day we went back and the staff told us that our rooms were given away because we did not come at 4. So we were stuck with those rooms. I personally had to walk out in the public hallways in a towel because my room had no water. All the stuff in one room got soaked after the rain because of the horrible walls that were not fixed. We went to speak to guest services again and the staff told us there was nothing they can do and kept speaking to us in an unprofessional manner. So we stayed In the lobby until we received the help we needed. All the staff did was scream at us, call us racist and tell us they were not changing our rooms. They treated us as if we were not paying customers. WORST HOTEL EVER! THE MOTELS ARE BETTER THAN THIS HELL HOLE! DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO EXPERIENCE THE WORST OF THE WORST OF DR!

The only positive thing I can say about this resort is that the beach is beautiful. The service was extremely poor. Very unfriendly staff. Drinks are served in the smallest cups made. All the restaurants in the resort are closed. The only place to eat is the buffet which is the same food over and over and just average at that. Ended up eating off site for many meals. The resort looks run down. With so many choices to stay in Dominican Republic I would pick a different resort.

Hello everyone this is a deep dive or detailed review of this hotel; I will let you know my personal experience regarding my 3 day visit to this “resort/hotel”, I am an airline employee with 20 plus years in this industry visiting plenty of resorts throughout the world and in the Dominican Republic, if you are a fellow airline employee or tourism related employee don’t visit this place. I arrived and the employees were not all that welcoming or nice in any particular way; first thing I noticed once I got to the hotel, it’s the fact that they post beautiful photoshopped pictures when in reality the hotel is falling apart from A to Z wherever you look its pretty sad the condition its in. Lobby its not nice or neat looking a lot of broken items form chairs or furniture to windows or doors; once I made it to the hotel room anything that was supposed to be metal had RUST on it, I am talking from light fixtures to the door to the water faucet it all had RUST which if you’re like me and like cleanliness a lot, it felt pretty bad. The door main lock did not work; the door wooden frame piece fell apart almost hitting me and stabbing me with its nails. Hot water only worked in the shower when it felt like it. The king bed was very uncomfortable and the furniture in the room was used up to the level that it looked like it was from the 1970’s. You could seriously hear the air conditioning like it was in the closet that’s how loud it was and the air conditioning vent was black and rusty as well which made me and my companion had a sore throat the next day. I asked to speak with a management member and they were never available; you could let the front desk agent know all of these issues and they did not know how to answer or what to do. The room phone did not work at all. The GYM was shut down and this was the first reason why I decided to stay in this hotel, I could have stayed somewhere else where the GYM was opened and they just brushed this off, it is not in their website that the GYM is closed. If you have kids I would tell you do not go to this place as it is not safe in general when it comes to the premises and specially for young kids. The only thing I liked about the place was the access to the beach and the employees in the beach area were very nice specially the ones service drinks and food, they were extra nice and attentive in the beach area. I hope this review helps you with your decision.

Horrível! Chegando na recepção tera um bom atendimento, após entrar no quarto parece um hotel de meia estrela. Quarto horrível, ar condicionado barulhento, decoração horrível, cama toda desajeitada. No primeiro dia faltou água em todo hotel, não pudemos tomar banho e aproveitar sequer o fim da tarde na piscina, pois a mesma fecha muito cedo às 18h30, horrível pra quem quer aproveitar mais de um hotel all inclusive, e até pela falta de água como iríamos pra praia pra depois ficar sem banho? Ao ligar para recepção para nos informar sobre o que estava acontecendo com a falta de água, atenderam de uma forma totalmente grosseira, e nem escutando o que queríamos. Para levar uma toalha para praia, deve deixar 20 dólares de caução. Se perder sua pulseira para controle da segurança interna, prepare 200 dólares como taxa para nova pulseira. Quanto a comidano primeiro dia comemos Macarrão no qual molho é extremamente forte e não gostei prepare sei estômago... experiência péssima!

Pra fazer o check foi uma verdadeira bagunça. Demora pra nos atender (entrega das chaves do quarto) de uma hora. Quartos ainda com pessoas dentro. Entrega do mesmo quarto para mais de duas pessoas, quartos com preços diferentes sendo piores que os mais caros, enfim conseguimos entrar no quarto as 16:00hs. Tive sorte, porque minhas amigas entraram quase as 17:00hs. Outra coisa, alguns quartos são limpos, outros não. Uns tem toalhas, (banho e rosto) outros não. Enfim esse hotel tou fora, nunca mais. E olha que é um dos melhores...!

Um pesadelo, de todos os hotéis que já fiquei, esse foi pior. 1- Falta de água constantes, 2- Falta de água quente no chuveiro (você vê reclamações constantes de todos os hospedes na recepção deste motivo), 3- Piscina fecha as 18:00hrs. 4- Toalha para utilizar nas piscinas, deve pagar 20,00 dólares de caução por toalha, que é devolvido após o retorno da toalha. 5- Cofre, deve pagar para utilizar 6- Ar condicionado, muito barulhento, não refrigerava. 7- Telefone do quarto, problema no fio e teclas 8- Pouco interesse dos funcionários em resolver os problemas. 9- Pouca variedades de refeição, aperitivos e bebidas, não há sucos naturais somente artificiais. 10- Existe 5 restaurantes (Mediterrâneo, Mexicano, Brasileiro, Italiano e Variados), conseguimos reservar para o Mexicano e Brasileiro - Restaurante Brasileiro: 4 tipos de carnes para um rodizio horrível (Linguiça/Picanha/Frango/File Mignon) 11- Internet é Paga e muito cara, apenas 10 minutos custava 20,00 dólares 12- Durante o caminho para o quarto todos os hospedes passam por uma área de resto de alimentos onde fica um mal cheiro. 13-Quartos, áreas do hotel abandonados, sem reformas.Não indico à ninguém este hotel, FUJA DESTA ESPELUNCA.

Um bom lugar para se ficar. Todos os brasileiros que encontrei por lá tiveram problemas com os quartos com cheiro de mofo. No meu caso pedimos para trocar o fomos atendidos. Tem que reclamar mesmo pois eles te colocam no primeiro que estiver livre e se não reclamar para eles está bom. Exijam a troca. Estivemos lá antes do embarque no cruzeiro e depois no retorno e as duas vezes nos colocaram em quanto com cheiro forte de mofo. Solicitamos a trocae fomos atendidos. Eu e minha esposa somos muito alérgicos e explicamos e eles trocaram. A reserva foi feita pelo pacote da Viajar Barato. Apesar da Viajar Barato já ter alertado quanto ao quarto eles continuam fazendo isso. Mas o lugar vale muito a pena. É um pouco distante do aeroporto e nos cobraram US$ 30,00 até lá e depois mais US$ 40,00 até o porto. Se possível verifique com antecedência um translado que sai muito mais barato fechar o translado de todos os percursos que for fazer do que ficar pegando taxi. Não consegui usar o Uber por lá pois não tinha pacote de internet lá. Procure ver com sua operadora como usar internet lá pois não disponibilizam wifi gratuito, só pagando. Wifi gratuito não funciona bem durante o dia só consegui usar a noite na área da praia. No aeroporto tinha wifi gratuito mas não funcionava. No porto não havia wifi gratuito. Um grupo que conhecemos usou o translado de uma empresa.

O atendimento do hotel só não foi o pior de todas as nossas viagens porque encontramos um único funcionário (Michael) na recepção que estava disposto a melhorar nossa estadia por lá e a mudar nossa péssima primeira impressão do hotel. O ponto que mais nos assustou foi em relação às imagens disponíveis do hotel nos sites e a realidade que encontramos. O hotel possui uma estrutura bem antiga, sem manutenção e limpeza adequadas, como por exemplo: os banheiros de uso comum do hotel estão sempre sujos, a academia está caindo aos pedaços, dentro outros. Além da questão de estrutura, a opção all inclusive oferecida pelo hotel nos decepcionou bastante. O bar próximo à piscina, por exemplo, só serve hambúrguer (todos os dias). A opção que encontramos foi pagar um valor a mais por dia para ficarmos em um quarto melhor, ter acesso a um outro restaurante e wi-fi (que por sinal não funcionava no quarto que ficamos). Um dos poucos pontos positivos é de fato o mar, que é lindo (mas que tem a vista prejudicada de um Porto que fica em Santo Domingo). Enfim, é um hotel que eu não indicaria a um amigo. Ah, quanto aos passeios oferecidos pelo hotel, encontramos uma loja na rua, e compramos o mesmo pacote por 1/3 do valor oferecido lá dentro. O vendedor, conhecido como Orange Man (pelo cabelo laranja), é bastante simpático, fomos muito bem atendidos por ele. Levem lanches leves na bolsa para os passeios porque as refeições não são legais. A Ilha de Saona é simplesmente maravilhosa.

Mala atención, gente de administración y de limpieza muy mal! No hay agua caliente(dirán para que quieres agua caliente en la playa, tengo un bebé de 4 meses que nunca e bañado con agua fría y en este hotel fue la primera y última vez que lo hago!) en las habitaciones (hamaca beach), no hacen el aseo del cuarto y cuando les haces la observación son déspotas y groseros! Mucha basura y sargazo en la playa! Las puertas de las habitaciones en su totalidad están colgadas (de lo viejo que están)! El peor hotel en el que e estado en mi vida!

The worst of the worst! First of all as we go to do check-in, the guy that was "attending " us received a phone call, and he picks up the phone and starts talking and talking and talking for like 20 minutes straight and we there waiting! Tried to interrupt his talking on the phone but nope, there was no way you could get him out of that phone! So eventually we left him talking on the phone and we go to another guy to do the check-in and we asked to talk with a Manager and nobody will get a Manager to talk to!!! Besides this , the food was horrible! The location where the buffet is, is full of cats which it makes it for you very uncomfortable to have a nice lunch or dinner!! The waitress, instead of paying attention to the costumers and trying to serve them, they just hang out with each other and joking around, which to me is very unprofessional!! Just one night there is such a waste of time and money!! Does this resort even have a Manager?!! Cause everything seems to be out of control there!!!

La playa espectacular, las piscinas aceptables, las camas son super duras, las almohadas son duras, el aire no enfría bien, la atención en la cocina es discriminatoria, si llegan hablando en inglés lo atienden bien, si habla en español pueden ser ignorados, la sopa de mariscos sabe a sardina, de resto cocinan rico.. Y en la recepción se tardan demasiado para el ingreso..

Muy bueno el lugar . Estubimos mi esposo y yo 6 dias. Aunque tienes que ir por las afueras a comer es chulo pues asi se anda independientepor el pueblo de Boca Chica donde quieras andar comer. El alojamiento que teniamos fantastico me lo encontre. Vista a la playa y piscina a una poca distancia. El personal todos muy simpaticos. Paraiso y tranquilidad. Mas tengo que agregar que como fuimos en tiempo de covid19 por eso teniamos que ir fuera a comer ,y tambien puedes traer y comer fuera en la terraza de tu habitacion. Pero en otras ocasiones el hotel es todo incluido. Agua caliente y aire acondicionado muy bueno 💯. Volveria ahi si fuera a pasiar otra vez. Y al lado esta el restaurante pelicano restaurant del Hamaca que esta disponible para beber y comer.Pasamos una hermosa tarde con mis nietos y familia antes de regresar para USA

As the name mentioned it, that's a place to visit if ever you are in the Dominican Republic, if you want to enjoy your stay, that was a nice experience.We went for a visit, that couldn't be better. We enjoyed the view, very nice construction.Very nice restaurant, buffet, to enjoy every plate with pleasure.Some nice spot to take pictures with the family, with your spouse, with your boyfriend or girlfriend or even alone. With all the negative news on DR of late I just want to say what an AMAZING time I had in the Hamaca Resort in Boca chica!!!! I went there on Memorial day weekend (DR Mothers day) with my Mom and we had an Outstanding time! The Food, Service & Entertainment is top shelve. The price onAll inclusive packages are terrific as well. I also appreciate all the Extra attention they gave mom at 85 it's hard for her to get around.Excellent!!!!

This resort is located in the Boca Chica beach. Is a very busy town however the resort space is slightly private. It’s an all-inclusive resort very suitable for families and with good spaces for couples. Recommended as a 3.5 stars resort, not fancy but practical.

When our wedding venue fell through last minute, we only had 24hrs to plan a new wedding (p sure every bride’s worst nightmare) and they pulled it off SPECTACULARLY. The ceremony, food, and after-party were fantastic and they didn’t let me worry about a single thing. Can’t say enough wonderful things about the staff, especially the event planning staff.

Raquel Mercedes saves our trip by getting us a nicer suit. We did have to pay an upgrade fee, but at least we have a room that doesn’t smell like mold and cigarettes. Raquel Mercedes is the manager at the front desk and she truly tries hard to please her guests, and for that we are thankful))

Badly organized. Rooms are expired. The restaurants are a joke. Cold food. Cold coffee if you can get some. Full of Russian peasants. (no offence) Worst experience in 20 years. The staff cannot help it, most of them try hard and are very friendly. If I go into details you don't know whether to laugh or cry.

Horrible experience. Since the moment I arrived until the end of our stay. My boyfriend and I received a room with double beds therefore after being told we would have to stay in this room, not until later on the next day were we switched to another room with a single bed for a couple. The new room smelled so much like cigarettes which of course I didn’t not want a room that was not smoke free. The receptionist response to me was to open the window. I went on a quick vacation and I am so disappointed I spent my time and money on this place. It is under reconstruction and I really did not receive any information of what is there to do at the hotel.
