“The front desk staff was very friendly when we checked in. The beds were pretty comfortable and the location was good. However, our room smelled like someone had smoked in there previously, there were dead bugs on the window sill, the shower curtain was bent so it wouldn't stay closed. Went to the hot tub but it could have been hotter. And the breakfast the 2nd day was disappointing . When I went down at 8:15, the eggs/bacon/sausage were gone and didn't see anyone refilling them. I don't eat this but there was also no gravy for the biscuits and gravy.”

“I stayed just over a week due to a family funeral, so although the reason for the stay was somber, the stay itself, the room, and staff were pleasant surprises.
Michael and Josh were my most frequent hosts and both could not have been more hospitable. Breakfasts are surprisingly good, and the room was huge.
There is no onsite restaurant but several are nearby. The hotel has no shuttle service so a car is recommended. I was not here on vacation nor for work, but for my needs a good destination.”
