O hotel aparentemente aceita animais de estimação, mas não recebi nenhum aviso sobre isso até o dia do check-in, quando um cachorro estava à solta. Os quartos não são devidamente higienizados. The hotel is apparently pet friendly, but I was not given any notice of this until the day of check in when a dog was on the loose. The rooms are not sanitized properly. I have a cat allergy and I suffered all weekend and days after checking out. I am a dog owner, the only thing that should've been told upon reserving a room is that they are pet friendly

Descobrimos este encantador hotel depois de uma viagem horrível em chuvas de monção do sul da Flórida para a Virgínia. Ficamos muito felizes em fazer o check-in e perceber que estávamos em uma área agradável que era segura! Nós ficamos em outros lugares antes na Virgínia e alguns eram muito incompletos. Este hotel era limpo, os funcionários foram simpáticos e prestativos, e os quartos eram espaçosos o suficiente para acomodar o nosso cão. No check-in, fui recebido por um membro da equipe amigável, profissional e acolhedor na recepção. O mesmo pode ser dito da minha experiência de checkout. Fiquei impressionado com a limpeza do hotel e meu quarto individual. Ótima experiência no bar e restaurante esportivo "The Legends" que ficava do outro lado da rua. (recomendado pela equipe do hotel). I enyoyed o café-da-manhã de cortesia no lobby pela manhã. antes da minha partida. Eu não hesitaria em voltar a este hotel.

Upon check-in, I was greeted by a friendly, professional and welcoming Staff Member at the Front Desk. Same can be said for my checkout experience. I was beyond impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel and my individual room. Great experience at "The Legends" Sports Bar and Restaurant that was across the street. (recommended by the Hotel Staff). I enyoyed the complimentary breakfast in the Lobby in the morning. prior to my departure. I would not hesitate to return to this hotel.

We discovered this lovely hotel after a horrible drive in monsoon rains from South Florida to Virginia. We were so happy to check in and realize we were in a nice area that was safe! We've stayed in other places before in Virginia and some were very sketchy. This hotel was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were roomy enough to accommodate our dog. The hotel had a little dog park behind the hotel, and their breakfast helped start you on your journey. There are numerous restaurants in the area, and our daughters love Chick Fil A so that was a bonus. We will definitely stay here again on our future road adventures!

Uma noite tão não terrível. Não tem a atmosfera típica de pousada e suítes. Estou no lobby, sem lareira ou livros. Café da manhã decente. Pessoal muito bom. Almofadas macias e sem apoio. Cama em si confortável. Endereço no site errado. Não dá endereço correto. Eu não entendo isso. Não tão bom quanto outras pousadas do país. Eu não ficaria aqui novamente ou mais de 1 noite. As portas estão fechando metade da noite, um pouco barulhentas

One night so not terrible. Doesn't have the typical country inn and suites atmosphere I'm lobby, no fireplace or books. Breakfast decent. Staff very good. Pillows soft and non supportive. Bed itself comfortable. Address on website wrong. Doesn't give correct address. I don't understand that. Not as good as other country inns. I wouldn't stay here again or more than 1 night. Doors are clicking closed half the night, bit noisy

Tive meu cachorro e eles foram super atenciosos! Eu me senti confortável com ela lá e o quarto era muito bom. Eu não senti que eles me colocaram em um quarto ruim ou em um quarto onde os animais estavam sempre como alguns hotéis que eu já estive. Eu ficaria aqui novamente em um piscar de olhos.

I had my dog and they were super accommodating! I felt comfortable with her there and the room was very nice. I didn't feel like they stuck me in a bad room or a room that animals were always in like some hotels I've been to. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Escolhemos este hotel por causa da localização e porque outros Country Inn's foram bons. Isso está listado como 3 estrelas, então achamos que seria ótimo. O quarto estava tão desatualizado. A banheira tinha mofo e bolor na parede. Havia um grande buraco na parede que estava mal remendado. A trava de segurança estava solta na parede. Uma das toalhas estava manchada. O tapete tinha migalhas moídas nele. Eu nunca senti a necessidade de dormir completamente vestido antes, mas estávamos tão assustados. A piscina cheirava a sujeira, não como cloro. Se meus filhos não tivessem adormecido na cama tão rápido, teríamos saído e dirigido para outro lugar.Tenho certeza de que receberemos uma resposta do gerente nos dizendo o que deveríamos ter feito para corrigir o problema, mas esse não é meu trabalho. Se você não pode recolher o lixo de um quarto de hotel, não terá uma segunda chance.

We chose this hotel because of the location and because other Country Inn's have been nice. This is listed as a 3-star, so we figured it would be great. The room was so out-dated. There was trash under the bed (food wrappers, a golf ball, a hair spray cap), under the chair cushion (food wrappers, a plastic knife) and in a drawer (a table cloth, wrapped plastic utensils from fast food). The tub had mold and mildew on the wall. There was a large hole in the wall that was poorly patched. The security lock was hanging loose on the wall. One of the towels had a stain on it. The carpet had crumbs ground into it. I've never felt the need to sleep fully clothed before, but we were so creeped out. The pool smelled dirty, not like chlorine. If my kids hadn't fallen asleep in the bed so fast, we would've left and driven elsewhere.I'm sure we'll get a response from the manager telling us what we should've done to fix the issue, but that's not my job. If you can't pick up trash from a hotel room, you don't get a second chance.

Felizmente, trouxemos o nosso, mas tivemos que comprar mais enquanto estávamos lá. Além disso, a jacuzzi estava quebrada, a piscina “aquecida” (que foi um dos nossos principais fatores decisivos), estava perigosamente fria nos primeiros dias e nossa taxa de animal de estimação era escandalosa. Perguntamos sobre a piscina várias vezes para a gerência e a equipe para a qual nos foi assegurado pela manutenção que era 82 graus; não era. Trouxe alguns materiais de limpeza para higienizar nosso quarto devido ao covid, mas não tinha ideia da extensão que estaria limpando. Havia urina seca na parte de trás do vaso sanitário e cabelos humanos de vários tipos em nossa banheira! Somos uma família de militares, então estou acostumado a ter que improvisar, adaptar e superar, então foi o que fiz. Se eu soubesse tudo o que aconteceria durante a nossa estadia de uma semana, teria feito mais esforço para tirar fotos e documentar minuciosamente nossas experiências para enviar ao escritório corporativo. Este lugar está um nojo! A certa altura, solicitamos uma cadeira de escritório diferente para o nosso quarto, pois a nossa estava quebrada e nossos filhos frequentam a escola virtualmente e precisavam de um lugar para fazer seus trabalhos escolares. Não achei que fosse uma grande pergunta, mas a equipe de limpeza me disse que ela não poderia trocar nossa cadeira por outra sala e que eu precisava perguntar à mesa principal. Em seguida, levei a cadeira para o escritório do gerente, onde recebi várias perguntas de Amy King para garantir que sabíamos a maneira correta de operar uma cadeira de escritório antes de decidir que a cadeira estava de fato quebrada. Quando perguntei ainda mais sobre a temperatura da piscina, ela sustentou abrasivamente que a piscina estava a 82 graus, mas disse que teria manutenção para verificar…. Quarto era bom, mas as pessoas do balcão de serviço são incompetentes. Caí na calçada deles, esfolei o joelho e bati a cabeça. Eles não poderiam ter se importado menos. Tivemos que pedir um kit de primeiros socorros que só tinha band-aids, água e toalhas para limpar minha perna e tivemos uma atitude de faça você mesmo. Eu tive que pedir que eles preenchessem um relatório de incidente que eles me fizeram preencher sozinho. No relatório até diz que você ofereceu uma ambulância para o hóspede. Se não por quê? Eu escrevi não e nenhuma idéia,. Era óbvio que eles não estavam fazendo seu trabalho. Finalmente recebi uma ligação do gerente geral 20 minutos depois, mas até então eu já havia deixado uma pilha de toalhas ensanguentadas em uma mesa no saguão devido à equipe não ajudar e fui para o meu quarto. O único conforto que ela deu foi que eles treinariam seu povo. Ainda bem que foi apenas 1 noite.

Room was nice but the service desk people are incompetent. I fell on their sidewalk and skinned my knee and hit my head. They could not have cared less. We had to ask for a first aid kit which only had band aids, and water and towels to clean my leg and got an attitude of do it yourself. I had to ask them to fill out an incident report which they had me fill out myself. In the report it even says did you offer an ambulance to the guest. If not why? I wrote no and no idea,. It was obvious that they were not doing their job. Finally got a call from their general manager 20 min later, but by then I had already left a pile of bloody towels on a table in the lobby due to staff not assisting and gone to my room. Only comfort she gave was that they would train her people. Glad it was only 1 night.

Short Review: Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else, esp if you have kids! The floors were filthy upon check in, our chair was broken, there was various types of human hair left in the tub, the bathroom fan wasn’t working (causing excessive humidity in our room), there was dog defecation everywhere on the grounds outside the hotel & inside the dog park and no bags available for clean up to which we informed the staff. Thankfully, we brought our own but had to buy more while we were there. In addition, the jacuzzi was broken, the “heated” pool (which was one of our main deciding factors), was dangerously cold the first few days and our pet fee was outrageous. We inquired about the pool multiple times to management & staff to which we were assured by maintenance that it was 82 degrees; it was not. We then made a call to corporate to which they had many people on the grounds the following day and by Thursday evening, the pool was finally warm enough for all of us to swim safely. The front desk & kitchen staff (especially Gill) are awesome & the breakfast is pretty good but not worth returning for. We will never stay at another one of these hotels again. Extended Review: My husband travels for business fairly often and we homeschool so we’ve stayed in many hotels over the years. Most of which have been great experiences with the exception of a couple to include this Country Inn & Suites. I will say that if this rating was based on the friendliness of the majority of the staff, especially that of Gill who prepares the morning breakfast- it would have been a much higher rating! He was wonderful, friendly, professional & accommodating in every aspect and we are so grateful for him. Unfortunately his gift for hospitality is lost on this place. I sincerely hope that whoever reads this offers him a higher position because he absolutely deserves it! This rating is instead based entirely on the quality of the hotel, the lack of maintenance of the grounds and the lack of professionalism of the manger Amy King. With that considered, if it were possible to give negative stars, I would. Upon check in, the floors were filthy dirty and in no time my children’s feet were black. I brought along some cleaning supplies to sanitize our room due to covid but had no idea the extent I would be cleaning. There was dried urine on the back of the toilet and human hair of various sorts in our tub! We are a military family so I am quite use to having to improvise, adapt & overcome so that is what I did. Had I known all that would ensue during our week long stay, I would have made more effort to take pictures and thoroughly document our experiences to submit to corporate office. This place is a dump! At one point, we requested a different office chair for our room since ours was broken and our children attend school virtually and needed a place to do their schoolwork. I didn’t feel like this was a big ask but was told by the cleaning staff that she couldn’t swap our chair out with another room and that I needed to ask the main desk. I then wheeled the chair down to the managers office to which I was met with multiple questions from Amy King to assure we knew the proper way to operate an office chair before deciding that the chair was in fact broken. When I further inquired about the temperature of the pool, she abrasively maintained that the pool was 82 degrees but said that she would have maintenance check it out…. However, considering the condition of our room as well as the lack of professionalism and hospitality, I honestly didn’t have much faith that it would be resolved during the remainder of our stay. Out of room, I’ll write the rest of my review from my husband’s account.

Nos quedamos una noche. La habitación estaba limpia pero habían manchas en el techo. Ofrecían desayuno complementario de 6-9am pero nosotros no fuimos. En recepción fueron amables. Me pareció bien para un hotel de 2 estrellas, aunque algo carito, casi $90 (sin taxes incluidos) por una noche, pero imagino debido a que fue tarde en la noche de Thanksgiving 🤔.
