Good overall experience. The hotel and rooms are very outdated but very clean. They need more signage around the hotel (for food, locations, open hours etc) as we had to figure things out for ourselves along the way. All the staff was amazing, friendly and accommodating. Food and drink was average but good. The adult only side is very small but there is a kid friendly side that you can access with more restaurants. There are not enough pool chairs and despite no reserving signs, every chair is gone by 6am so you need to be up early for a good spot. Online restaurant booking feature was great, would recommend a cancel button. Beach was overall nice and sandy, would have been great if they raked it properly every once and a while. The people selling things are relentless throughout the day, coming by at least 200 times to sell you the same things over and over. Security should control access inside the beach seating area to allow guests a break. There are some activities to do through the day (tennis, volleyball etc), which was fun, only downside is the equipment was very old and worn out.

This is a solid 3-star all inclusive. Nowhere near 4.5 stars they claim. The amenities of the hotel were okay, but somewhat outdated. The decor, starting from the front entrance was not the strongest. I was slightly embarrassed for the hotel itself. From the perspective of food and drinks, they really were not trying to impress. You will have cheap food at the resort and I strongly recommend you go out and check out the food elsewhere. Do check out the rooftop pool bar as it is a lot of fun to look over the Banderas bay. Aside from the hotel peculiarities, staff provided great service and the room was always clean and neat. I appreciate this!

Great location and really nice beach. The staff are amazing. The 1st room we had the toilet flooded the bathroom from the back of the toilet. They let us switch rooms then accidentally checked someone into our new room. Luckily we were in the room or the 2 drunks would've been in our room with all our stuff. It was a front desk mix up. The buffet food is ok. Nothing amazing but you can find something to eat at all times of the day. The restaurants need reservations and are easy to make. We made 1 at the Mediterranean one and the steak house. The food and service was amazing. Overall this isn't some fancy resort but is adults only and perfect for a cheap getaway. The 7th floor pool is the best 1 to hang out in. It's not too busy and you can get a chair or canopy bed easily.

I read a lot of negative reviews for this resort that made me nervous, but it turned out to be one of my favorite destinations. The beach is nice, no rocks and good sand. The drinks and the food are great. The entertainment at night was cool. You can't beat the location, you can walk to any store you need so if you don't want to check a bag but still need over 3oz of liquid you can buy it cheap outside the resort. The rooms are old but incredibly clean, they're comfortable. I played volleyball and water polo every day, the staff does a great job organizing activities. The pools were nice, you can utilize the kids area restaurants and facilities. I plan on going back, my expectations were exceeded and all around it was an awesome vacation.

Our second trip to this resort and once again not disappointed. My only issue, being over 6' tall was the shower that I had to bend over almost to the waist to get my head under. The food is nothing special, but was well presented and had good flavor. At the Breezes bar, Ana makes an amazing Pico de Gallo every day at lunch. If you have any make sure to tip her well. Our 2 regular bar servers, Ivan and Jose kept everyone having a great time. When we first arrived, Jesus was helpful getting us reoriented to where everything was.

Eles deveriam ter uma música um pouco mais variada no clube Nitro, hora da discoteca. Para mim, o entretenimento noturno é muito importante quando estou de férias e quero levar isso em consideração, e entendo que a Cumbia é o que mais se dança/escuta no México, mas a ausência de Salsa e Bachata em uma noite inteira em um clube com pessoas de todo o mundo, deixa muito a desejar; no entanto, a atenção dos bartenders do clube foi muito boa. Seria ótimo se houvesse um pouco mais de variedade de carne/frango/peixe no restaurante principal com buffet na hora do almoço. E por fim, devem ter uma melhor organização no Lobby no momento do check-in ou check-out; Pois bem, neste momento coincide uma grande massa de convidados, e vê-se que não há um plano de contingência para quando muitas pessoas esperam para ser atendidas, pois mesmo na fila para ir ao balcão, não há uma ordem clara. Para além do que foi dito, a atenção/hospitalidade dos funcionários do hotel foi excepcional, a qualidade das bebidas foi notável e o esforço dos bartenders foi demonstrado em cada bebida. Os restaurantes de especialidades Paradise e Gallo são altamente recomendados, têm uma equipa muito profissional. Excelente Qualidade-Preço Garantido. Vistas deslumbrantes do Golden's SkyBar. O suficiente para fazer em cada dia de hospedagem. Eu voltaria sem hesitação.

Um hotel bonito e bem cuidado. No entanto, o buffet não é muito apetitoso e os jantares nos restaurantes à la carte (posso falar de Salvador e Paraíso) são deficientes. Por outro lado; A atenção de todos os funcionários é excelente!

No parese de 5 estrellas Instalaciones viejas Camas durísimas Solo 1 elevador caben 4 personas y huele mal Restaurantes principal para el desayuno se hace una larga fila,. "Ojo" el huevo ya en barra y el que te ofrecen "liquido" sabe horrible mejor pidan que les den del normal. Deja mucho que desear

Deberían de tener un poco de música más variada en el club Nitro, hora de la discoteca. Para mi el entretenimiento nocturno es muy importante al momento de vacacionar y querer tenerlo en consideración, y entiendo que la Cumbia sea lo que mas se baila/escucha en México, pero la ausencia de Salsa y Bachata en toda una noche en un club con personas de todo el mundo, deja mucho que desear; sin embargo, la atención de los bartender en el club fue muy buena. Sería excelente que hubiese un poco más de variedad en carnes/pollo/pescados en el restaurante buffet principal al momento de almorzar. Y por último, deberían tener una mejor organización en el Lobby al momento de realizar el check-in o check-out; pues en este horario coinciden una gran masa de huéspedes, y se ve que no hay plan de contingencia para cuando esperan muchísimas personas para ser atendidas, pues incluso en la fila para pasar al mostrador, no hay un orden claro. Fuera de lo dicho, la atención/hospitalidad por parte del personal del hotel fue excepcional, la calidad de las bebidas era notable y el esfuerzo de los bartender se demostraba en cada trago. Super recomendados los restaurantes de especialidad Paradise y Gallo, cuentan con un equipo bastante profesional. Excelente Calidad-Precio Asegurada. Vistas impresionantes desde el SkyBar del Golden. Bastante para hacer en cada día de hospedaje. Volvería sin dudarlo.

Un hotel bonito y muy cuidado. Sin embargo el buffet no es muy apetecible y las cenas en los restaurantes a la carta (puedo hablar del Salvador y del Paradise) son deficientes. Por otro lado; la atención de todo el personal es Excelente!!!

Great staff but food soso, nothing over the top. Alcohol was very cheap. 1 Beer! Our rooms were very old. Had to request the ac filter to be changed. The pool staff is amazing. Shout out to Manny, Marco, Ivan and Jessica!!! They made our trip fun.... Not a bad resort but definitely not a 5-star, that I am used too!!!

Visite este hotel y me parece muy recomendable, la atención recibida es muy buena. Siempre encuentras personal que te pueda orientar y atender tus necesidades. Las habitaciones están muy limpias y cuentan con gran espacio. Cuenta con varios restaurantes de los cuales puedes reservar para comida mediterránea, comida francesa, comida internacional, comida japonesa o bien comida mexicana. Todos los días hay show en el hotel tanto en la mañana como en la noche por lo que siempre tendrás actividades que realizar y no aburrirte. Ideal para parejas.

Visite este hotel e parece altamente recomendado, a atenção recebida é muito boa. Você sempre encontra funcionários que podem orientá-lo e atender às suas necessidades. Os quartos são muito limpos e têm um ótimo espaço. Tem vários restaurantes dos quais pode reservar comida mediterrânica, comida francesa, comida internacional, comida japonesa ou comida mexicana. Todos os dias há um show no hotel, tanto de manhã quanto à noite, para que você sempre tenha atividades para fazer e não fique entediado. Ideal para casais.

I am currently atthis resort. People smoking in none designated places is a very big problem. I do not smoke and do not wish to have my lungs filled with second hand smoke, and no one does anything about it. They blindly turn there eyes away as if nothing is wrong.unfortunatly we bought into the 100 days and are now stuck.thiz is our 4thtime here and nothing has changed. Very disappointed.

The rooms are NOTHING like the pictures. Absolutely worse than I could have imagined, but at least they filled up my fridge and cleaned my room every day. I suggest going to the bar up the elevator by the front entrance. The other ones are bad. AVOID ALL SEAFOOD in the buffet and on the beach. All of it is bad.

I booked this hotel with my vacation package which said it was a 5 star hotel however it’s far from being 5 stars. I give this hotel a 2.5-3 stars maximum. Unfortunately the 8 nights we stayed here there was an issue everyday ( I came here to relax not worry about the mistakes the hotel keeps making). They got our check out dates wrong and nobody seemed to know how to fix it. They stated they fixed it numerous times but then told us we have to check out days before we were meant too ( even though our WestJet vacation package states the proper day which I emailed too the hotel) the room was dirty and the glasses had toothpaste in it. The food selection is very minimal and different from my western preferences. I have actually ordered pizza 4/8 nights due to the lack of quality food here. I have spoke too other guests here that had the same issue as me with the selection of food. The washrooms throughout the hotel are disgusting and dirty. I don’t believe this should be as high rated as it is. I was mislead though the previous reviews and will not be staying here again. Other travelers I have talked too feel the exact same way and says the hotel is not what it used to be. Disappointed and not what I expected based on previous reviews and photos. Definitely will not be coming back.

We recently stayed at the adult side of the resort. The staff was excellent and very friendly. We had great service from Jose, Angela and Jose Maria at the Breeze bar and Antonia was great at the pool bar. The reason I only gave the resort 3 stars was because the place turned into a frat party on the weekends. We went to the sky pool the first night we were there only to find people passed out on the pool decks, drinks spilled all over the place and lots of partying. The cleanliness of the pools and surrounding beach area were also not very good, lots of cigarette butts in the sand because they don't supply enough ashtrays for the smokers. I like a good party mood down at the pool but there were groups of people blasting their own music so it would drown out the resort music, which just made it noise pollution. The food was also just sub par. 3 of our meals in the specialty restaurants were cold and were just basically flavorless. If you want to party this is the place, if you want to enjoy a drink around the pool and listen to some good music find a different resort.

Well... the room was beautiful. The pool was nice and clean. The beach is a couple feet away. BUT they are horribly understaffed. You basically had to wait ten min in line to get your drink or snack. We weren't properly explained how to even reserve a restaurant, so we couldn't until the second day. Went to the buffet.... the food was awful. We ordered a pizza at 10pm to our room... it never got there. The international restaurant we got the second night was actually delicious. Details like that will keep me from visiting again. However. The room was very very nice, the hotel was clean and up to date.

Carlos who has the position of Bell Boy, always went above and beyond to help you with anything. He is fabulous beyond words. Não gostei tanto quanto deveria. Achei que poderia ser melhor o atendimento de todos, não é lá essas coisas. A comida não é ruim, mas nem de longe é boa e só há coisas artificiais de bebida, nenhuma bebida natural sequer. Café bem aguado também. Há boas opções no buffet mas nada demais. Não gostei muito não, acho que não voltaria. Para uma proposta como a do hotel, eles poderiam treinar a recepção para lidar com algumas questões adversas. Outra coisa, é ridículo ter que reservar a janta antes das duas da tarde. Não tem cabimento culpar a pandemia por isso.

No real complaints, via they had just gone through a hurricane the week prior to our arrival. They need to keep up on the progress being made and if they do, this will be a wonderful experience. The all inclusive status was very nice (didn't have to carry around money) and they offered the option of adult only areas (1/2 the hotel there were no kids running around). Their service staff was very friendly and helpful. Their rooms were serviced by excellent staff.

Stayed 6 days at this resort in the adults only section and it was great!! The pools, grounds and restaurants were clean and we'll kept. The workers were super nice and attentive. The beach area was nice but there were way too many vendors that will harass you unless you are mean to them. If you were in the pool looking out at the beach they would harass you there as well so you had to turn your back on the beach or completely stay off the beach to not be harassed. I think one time is enough, not all day long every 10 minutes. Most of the restaurant's were good. There was one we did not care for but that could be personal preference. The Italian was amazing as was the French restaurant. I would recommend this resort to all my friends.

It has some very good thing and some other can be polished. The all inclusive is great but a little variety on the buffet would be good. They have a bunch of bars and restaurants so you can stay within the hotel and have a lot of fun. WOW on the entertainment crew, congrats.

The place was nice for the price, food was good. Only thing is my daughter was followed by one of the waiters to her room and that freaked her out. They have an amazing pool on the 7th floor. Service was excellent at all of the bars! If you make a reservation for the sit down dinners those are way better than eating at the buffet.

Very personable. When I arrived I was deathly ill. One of the staff members (Aidan) came to my rescue, took my bags, sat me down and then checked me in while I was waiting. He was my knight in shining armour. He later followed up with me to make sure I was alright. I spent the next two weeks enjoying an amazingly friendly resort and got to know everyone on a first name basis. The maid (Rosa) was a sweetheart and kept my home away from home spotless. On occasion I needed assistance and the conscierge always got things sorted out. I met with the general manager as well, who was very helpful and was the definition of “service with a smile”. I will definitely go back and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this resort highly.

Wicked place to go with kids, very family oriented. The place kinda shuts down around 9 pm. Food was ok. The family room has a bunk bed and is plenty of room for a family of four. The resorts sits right on the beach which is great for the kids. Only about 20 minutes by bus to get into town. We stayed for a week and felt like that was just the right amount of time.

This is an adults only all inclusive resort right on the beach. The food was delicious. The drinks were great. The weather was perfect. They had nightly entertainment and a very friendly staff. I wouldn't hesitate to go back again.

It wasn't my day, I guess. First day, Internet did not work. Waited 2 hours get my reserved room. They were painting the inside of the room which was not appropriate to stay. All inclusive, but restaurants, you have to reserve day before. That means first night, you can't eat proper dinner. Ocean water is cloudy and can't do snorkeling. This pace is best for the children and drinkers.
