“This is a must visit spot if you have some extra time. Frankly speaking, I have not stayed at the hotel. however, I have visited Peace Hotel with a local guide in order to understand the history of shanghai and the Bund area.
The hotel is the oldest on the Bund and has a rich history. I recommend to enjoy your afternoon tea at the lobby or you can enjoy your evening at the Jazz Lounge. I have chosen the Jazz Option.
The Jazz Lounge is very classy and elegant. I am not a Jazz expert or fan but I really enjoyed the ambient and the expereice. The old Band at the Jazz Lounge has been playing every evening since 1980's.
The minimum spend will be 30 USD per person. It is very reasonable price.”

“First night they put me in a room about 6sqm and my bed was next to a large water pipe. Next day I made a complain and they upgraded me to a suit with a bathroom bigger than my bedroom the night before. A historical hotel.”
