“King bed hard as a rock. Flat pillows! And you have to pay for your breakfast after spending $218 for the room. The only thing complimentary is the gross light roast coffee that tastes like tea. I gave it 2 stars because it didn't have bed bugs... yay”

“I was booked to stay here for 3 nights and left after one. The front desk person did not greet me upon arrival and did not inform me that breakfast was $11/person when I asked where it would be in the morning. The room had paint peeling off the walls, a massive break/crack in the desk that was glued back together with silicon, somehow the carpet was sticky (yep, the carpet was sticky) and the bed was rock hard with thin linens. The online photos were very deceiving, to say the least. After deciding to stay elsewhere, I asked the front desk if it was possible to receive a refund and he was very nice and said he would do all he could on his end, but suggested I call Marriott as well (because I mistakenly booked under a non-refundable rate, which I don’t normally do and will never do again because of THIS hotel). Not only did the assistant manager in training at the front desk tell me they would try to work with me as best as they could, so did Marriott over the phone. Well, then Mui Huang (only labeled as “controller” under the email signature), emailed me a receipt that was so confusing that I asked for clarification, several times. She got very rude with me over email because I had to ask multiple times for her to explain the breakdown of charges. I have never had a Marriott employee be so rude with me, ever. I’m honestly shocked that this person works for Marriott because I’ve always had great experiences with their hotels and staff, but this person is the absolute exception. Rude and unwilling to communicate is not a trait I’m accustomed to with this company. I am assuming Mui Huang was the manager, but even that is still unclear. Do not stay here under any circumstances.”
