This place was clean & a little bit worn down. The employees seemed to be working hard to keep it nice. The place smelled clean, which is nice for some people, but for me the fragrances were too strong. The free warm breakfast was nice, although basic. We stayed there as a family, and the kids were VERY disappointed that the pool was closed due to some maintenance issues. There was no mention of this when we checked in or anything, so it was a sad surprise when we got all ready and went down to the pool just to find it closed. I had also requested a room on the side opposite of the busy street, but was put in a room on the busy street side. I figured the traffic would quiet down at night, but the traffic was loud all night. I mentioned this and the pool closure when we were checking out, and they said that a manager would call or email me, but no one has called or emailed, and it's been a few days. It's nice that Costco is right nearby. This place is okay, but a little rough around the edges.

Monday when i arrived, the lady that took care of me was great! Kind, professional and patient. My room was DISGUSTING! The toilet seat was broken, make up on the counter and the couch that should have been gray was BLACK! The remote was sticky, the bed was only made and the room as you can read was definitely not cleaned. I was changed to a different room that wasn’t any better but i was tired and just dealt with it. Shower heads need to be replaced, they are corroded and barely have pressure, a full audit needs to be done honestly. Check out - i had walked past what seemed to be managers 2 males, one dark complexion and a white male in the sales room. I approached the counter and was met by Alisha, she printed my receipt and i asked her to call a manager to discuss my discrepancy. He declined to comp the room so to my mistake so i told her to call again and explain that yes the reservation mistake was mine however my room was not ready and due to that change the first night (Sunday that i didn’t stay in) should be comped. She said one of the managers would be coming to speak with me. I then asked her which of the two i past is it refer to their complexion she got an attitude and said i don’t see how that is a relevant question, i told her it was so i knew who i was meeting having just walked past both of them. She rolled her eyes as the manager approached. Without even a question he began to comp me the room as i explained the night and needing to moved and how the second room wasn’t any better. He (Anthony) comped the days and was very polite, professional and understanding. A minute doesn’t even pass and Alisha runs points at me and begins to talk about me in the back but still in my view. You can see that Anthony was trying to ignore her and carry on but she persisted, she couldn’t wait at least until i left the property to be unprofessional. She needs immediate training if not dismissal as that should be a customer representative, it was extremely childish behavior and i expect pure adult professionalism from Hilton or any establishment at that. So i will not be returning and actually posting this to Google and all platforms. It’s embarrassing to know that this location isn’t that old to have 1. These types of amenities and 2. This kinda of staffing.

I have had to come to Salt Lake a lot for medical. I have stayed at this hotel several times and it has always been very nice. I do wish that the rooms were cleaned a little better but I do understand with the covid and lack of help that may have something to do with it. Overall the staff has always been friendly and worked with us.

Being a Diamond I stay at a lot of Hilton hotels. Here on business this week. Three rooms rented in this hotel. I have stayed here several times over the last couple years. It has definitely gone down hill rapidly. Before you book you should know this hotel is a homeless shelter. They must get paid to house the homeless. Very noble venture.. but I’d like to have known this before booking my stay. The hotel is very dirty. Smells and you will be dining with the local homeless and their “service animals”. The rooms are already showing the wear of this. Parking lot was littered with trash. Getting hot, fresh coffee was an issue every morning during the week of our stay. No water pressure in the shower. There are plenty of better options close by if you’re not ready to be immersed in the local homeless community.

Room was clean. Staff were nice. Thats all i can say nicely. So when I booked one night here, I asked for a room in a quiet area on the highest level. They put us on the 2nd floor. There's at least 4 floors. Ding #1. At 0640, something that sounded like a jet engine starting making noise below us for about 10 to 15 minutes. So, if you are in room 121 or 221 or any rooms attached to them, these are NOT quiet rooms. Ding #2. We called the night before at 2211 hours requesting late check since the flight was changed. Lady said sure. So we thought 1300 hours was the check out. Ding #3. At 0640 the next morning, I asked the front desk again as, I don't and neither should you, trust any hotel staff working the night shift. Of course they said there was no record or note of the previous night phone call and we were told 1300 hours was too late but they agreed 1230 would be fine. We agreed. Ding #4. We returned to the hotel at 1150. Now our cards won't work. Had to waste time getting a new card. Ding #5. We come down to turn in our keys at 1225. Nobody at the front desk. So I leave the cards on the keyboard. Ding #6. It is fair to note whoever was supposed to be working was outside smoking a cigarette. Ding #7. 30 mins later I get a voice-mail from the hotel saying I didn't check out on time and will be charged. Ding #8. I call them. Tell them the keys are sitting on the keyboard up front. Lady, who was nice, says "oh okay I was told there was still items in the room." I ask what items. She says that staff went into my room PRIOR to my departure and saw items in my room. Ding #9. Why was ANYONE in my room at all from the hotel? Three times made it clear we were checking out late AND had the do not disturb sign on my door. Lack of communication is my guess. Ding #10. I'd never stay here again. Homeless people all over this area too. Then there's the staff reply. Can't even contact them without giving them all your personal information.
