“Nice accommodations. Rooms are large, clean, simple, yet modern. Nice big couch and desk area. Big tv. None of the outdated frills you find at other comparable hotels so it's easy on the eyes. Lobby is pretty and modern. Listing for this hotel was a little deceptive. There is one tiny outdoor patio with one table. Absolutely no good view from rooms. Tiny pool. And parking wasn't free despite all the booking websites saying it is. It is convenient to downtown Bethlehem and a good jumping off point to neighboring attractions.”

“Going to a hotel is usually a mechanical process, reservation, arrival, check-in, and so on. Once in a while you get the opportunity to have the hotel manager get involved because they are the heartbeat of the facility. It is this experience that I am writing about. Hyatt Place in Bethlehem, PA, has a manager by the name of Katie Labor, who sets the tone for this facility and how everyone interacts with the customers. That is the first thing that is noticeable about this location. It’s not about finding reasons to say no about something that appears to be a temporary obstacle. Quite the contrary, it is about finding out how to take care of the customer and going the distance to make the customer’s stay more about feeling that he/she is the focus of the stay. Katie stepped into a discussion about future stays, and as soon as she introduced herself, I knew we would be working on a business relationship of true interest in doing everything within her power. Smiles abound and results speak for themselves. I am comforted by knowing that should any problem ever arise, which I doubt, that Katie will be there to get the situation resolved. She and her staff are what will keep me coming back. I am thinking that she can fix a rainy day. A very big tip of the hat to a real industry professional.”
