The rooms just have been nice ... once ... Unfortunately time past by and the company did not invest in maintaining the quality. Furniture's worn out, floors have stains, curtains are missing etc. I also had the impression that the WC is quit small (and I am anything but a tall person 😉). There is one pic that might combine everything. The toilet doesn't have a brush but a telephone?! Perhaps to call the concierge once ... hits the fan 🤷

Very nice stay in Barcelona melia sky. We especially loved the wellness. Massage was really done well. We enjoyed it.

Keep your shoes on in the bathroom. This used to be a very good hotel. But they did not keep it that way by saving to much money. The floor in several rooms is just broken. My bathroom even had spikes which I had to remove after hurting me. As you can see in the pictures this is a fairly old problem the management refuses to fix. The building moves when it gets hotter. So this is to be expected and not an issue construction wise. But the upper floor layer needs to be maintained. Other than that: my phone was damaged. Reception didn’t care, that I had to go there when they called me. Heating in the bathroom didn’t turn on. Presumably to safe cost. The safe area had a broken hinge, obviously really old issue. See the picture. So I wouldn’t recommend this hotel at all. The staff doesn’t care anymore, they can’t do anything, it’s up to the management.

Staff was nice and service minded. But everyday at siesta time (in a weekend) The maintenance people started up some electric tools in the room next door. First day I got him to stop by knocking the door Second day I had to call reception…..!! The room are tired, need some maintenance before it should be rented out again. The place is to COLD 🥶 The room was not able to be warm, skyline 24 was cold, the restaurant that is placed in the lobby was cold. Only place with a normal nice temp was the Level club at 25 floor.

Horrible experience with the hotel. I was staying here on a school trip, so we had no choice but to stay here. When I checked into the hotel, I upgraded my room to a suite. I went shopping on Sunday and still had my new purchases in my shopping bag in the room. After coming back from few meetings, my bags have disappeared from my room. I immediately reported to the hotel staff. They were able to recover some but not all of my items. Any items that came back to me were damaged. The hotel tried to cover up the incident first by saying that it was a mistake. Then they tried to tell me that there was nothing in my shopping bag even though they returned some of my items damaged. Then they said to me that it's the hotel policy not to toss out shopping bags even though some guests got mad that they didn't toss out the shopping bags. I sent a message to others who traveled together, and they told me that they had an empty shopping bag that theirs did not get tossed out per the hotel policy. Lastly, the hotel staff kept telling each other that the situation had been resolved when the hotel did not resolve the theft from my room. The experience manager ghosted me until I raised my concerns to the travel agency who booked us there. However, the travel agency returned to me saying that the manager was very apologetic and embarrassed by the situation. Their staff ghosted me, but they were apologizing to the travel agency who brought them business instead. It shows that the hotel's priority is with their profit and robbing their guests instead of providing a quality hospitality service for their guests. After multiple attempts of reaching out to them, their experience manager eventually came back to me on an email apologizing for the situation. In addition, he offered to pay back in hotel reward points for the incident. Honestly, why would any rational person stay at a hotel where they got robbed from their room where the hotel staff works harder to cover up the incident rather than resolving it? Then they asked for my banking information to refund lost items. How can I trust a hotel with my banking info where I experience theft. I asked them to refund the portion of what I paid for my stay. The hotel once again ghosted my emails. This is truly the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. I have never seen bad hospitality work from a hotel that is rated as a 4-star hotel. One of my classmates asked about the incident as she was checking out, and the manager lied to her and told her that the incident was resolved.

The Hotel was very nice. It is not very central, but if you want you can still walk pretty much everywhere. But I wouldn’t come back anytime soon, because of the extra charges that nobody told us about at check-in. At check-in I asked about the Gym and Spa area and not once was the extra charge mentioned. At check-out today we were told that we had to pay 80€ extra for 2 times use of the whirlpool. Which would be 20€ per person for one use. For me that is pretty insane, compared to hotels were I stayed before. I can’t remember a single time were I had to pay extra just to use the whirlpool.

Amazing hotel! This is what you expect from a 4/5 star hotel. Staff and service are superb. The swimming pool and sunbathing area on the 6th floor is amazing and very chill vibe. The food bar on the ground floor as the whole hotel looks stunning. I'd recommend a room on one of the higher floors (14-24) with seaside view, that's absolutely priceless! Rooms are super clean and comfortable, soap and shampoo from Rituals, beds and pillows very comfortable. Our room was ready in the morning so no waiting for check in time! Highly recommended!

In an area of remarkable modern buildings, the building of the Meliá Barcelona Sky stands out. It is best to first set eyes on it from a distance. It looks like part of the building is sliding out of the main structure and that it wouldn't be long before it just falls. If the intention of the architects of the building was to attract attention, they've succeeded remarkably. Seek it out, even if you're not staying at the hotel.
