“Estive hospedado 7 dias. No dia do check-in, o quarto em que fiquei, infelizmente tinha o ar condicionado em mau funcionamento. O staff prontamente resolveu o problema com alteração de quarto, e a atenção prestada posteriormente foi realmente boa. A restante estadia correu muito bem.Pontos positivos: - Simpatia e prontidão de todo o staff (desde a receção, aos bares); - Existência de duas piscinas, podendo separar a animação, de uma zona mais calma.Pontos negativos: - Quartos a precisar de maior atenção de manutenção (não sendo crítica destrutiva, mas para evitar situações futuras).Em suma, fiquei muito satisfeito com a estadia e serviço prestado.”

“Spent 7 days at Ocean Maya Royale at the back end of October. Obviously this is the rainy season for Mexico and has a big effect on the enjoyment of the holiday. Despite a couple of days of poor weather we still had a brilliant time. This was in main down to the sports and entertainment team who go out of their way to keep you smiling. In particular Rodrigo and Arturo who were incredibly welcoming, funny and easy to get along with. There was often games, pool entertainment as well as sports to keep you occupied. This was one of the key benefits of the hotel and made it easier to make friends with others staying from across the world. That being said there was a quieter pool if you just wanted to relax as well as beach space. Some of the beach had been hit hard by a storm and wasn't as picturesque when we first arrived but this is solely down to the weather and got a lot nice later in the stay. The food was very good in almost all restaurants with lots of choice and wild animals such as Coatis added to the experience. Would happily go back. The focus was on fun loving people and this hotel may not be for everyone but my girlfriend and I had a brilliant 7 days.”

Hotel solo adultos puntos buenos y malos Habitación bien Comida regular Instalaciones regular Albercas pequeñas Playa bien Staff en conflicto puesto que en los restaurantes me atendieron bien en todo momento pero en las áreas del bar en especial en él lobby se ponen a gritar, también me toco precenciar como alguien del personal dejo que una señora se le sentara en la cara sin traje de baño enfrente de todos puesto que si lo que buscas es unos días de relajación sin niños no recomiendo este hotel para nada porque parecía un springbreak de gente ya grande para esas actitudes en lugar de un espacio al que vas a relajarte. Lo único destacable del hotel es el precio en lo demás hay mejores opciones en donde hospedarse en la Riviera Maya

He tenido la oportunidad de viajar a distintos resorts en la Riviera Maya y soy de las personas que no suele repetir hotel porque me gusta conocer y darle oportunidad a otros pero Ocean Maya Royale sin duda me ganó. Desde el check in las personas muy amables, gentiles y con la calidez de hacerte sentir bienvenido, en el restaurante la hacienda, con toda la amabilidad y tacto por el cliente así como todos los protocolos de higiene y sanidad ante el COVID. En la barra, el chico que me atendió fue Jony, muy amable, servicial y con un excelente trato al huésped. A diferencia de otros resorts, cuando eres mexicano suelen darles preferencia a los extranjeros y a uno siendo de aqui lo hacen menos pero en ocean Royale no, tratan a todos por igual con servicio de 10 y me da tanto gusto eso. La playa es bellísima y aunque existe un problema de sargazo (completamente natural y como en TODAS PARTES DE LA RIVIERA MAYA) aquí no se nota tanto, es bellísima y limpia. En cuestión de la animación, the entertainment team les doy un rotundo 100 de 100 porque sin duda ellos son la luz del hotel, quienes están bajo el sol trabajando día a día, quienes están pendientes de las necesidades del huésped y entretenerlos sin duda son ellos. Shoutout to Andrea, Angel , Allein, Alexis y todo el crew entero que son una bomba y sin duda alguna sin ellos el hotel sería muy oscuro. Muchísimas gracias chicos, nos vemos de nuevo en abril!!!!️

We are having such a great experience. The staff has been wonderful. The bartenders make sure that our drinks are always full and delicious…thank you Miguel at the pool bar and Cristobal in the sports bar! Eddie, Allein, Alexis, Jeanette, Angel make up a wonderful entertainment team. They had so many activities for us…I may still be sore from the water aerobics! I highly recommend this resort.

I spent a little over a week in this hotel and this is the best place!very beautiful territory and views, small cute coati run on the territory.The food at the hotel is delicious.And also I would like to note the team of animators who made very interesting and funny games, I met one of them - his name is Eddie!Very positive guy!

This is my 6th time at this resort and I love all the entertainment, but this time we’ve seen less than others. We’ve seen before Mayan show, foam parties, mariachi band. Anyways the guys do a brilliant job. I’ll like to see more shows and different music because apparently is the same at day and at night. The food was way better before than now in the restaurants I don’t see variety. It’s always the same. This is not a complaint. But I think it can be better. Thanks to Alexis from entertainment staff and Laura for entertaining us. We still love it here!

En términos generales el hotel está bastante aceptable. Buen mantenimiento, habitaciones de buen tamaño y limpias, lo que todos opinan básicamente es real. Los empleados muy bien (casi todos) el problema viene en la falta de comunicación entre ellos mismos y con el huésped. Pagué 1000 dólares más por algo que ellos llaman "privilege" y que, a conveniencia de ellos aplican o no, por no tener un protocolo y un orden. Pedí salida tardía (late check out) y me argumentaron que no se podía ya que debí avisar 2 días antes. En fin, en 24 horas echaron aperder algo tolerable. Demasiado caro a cambio de lo que dan. No Vuelvo!

I would have no issues booking this resort again in the future. The staff was very good and seemed to be there when we needed something. The rooms were nice and clean and the bed was very comfortable. They had done very well with handling the COVID restrictions while still providing excellent meals at several restaurants. The tenderloin meal our last night was excellent. The drinks were plentiful and strong. There were tons of activities and the beach areas were well kept with the seaweed cleaned every morning. Overall the grounds were beautiful and there was always an iguana to greet us at our building. I would have given a 5 star rating except for several small maintenance issues while we were there. Keep in mind our group had 3 rooms and 2 of 3 had maintenance issues. AC in one and another had to have the door lock replaced. There were lights out in one as well making it harder to see in the bath. All though the grounds wereimmaculately kept on the macro there are several micro areas that were obvious like about half of the waterfall at the lobby area not working. All in all this is a bit picky but for a 5 star resort they will need addressed at some point. I would recommend doing away with the 2 tier system especially with some of the areas closed for COVID. Top shelf for everyone!

Everything was great. The rooms were cleaned well, food was outstanding for an all inclusive and the atmosphere was perfect for a quick get away. They are only getting 4 stars due to the COVID testing protocol. They sucked an hour and a half out of a day for something that should take 15 minutes considering it was scheduled beforehand.They really need to improve the process for something that is required and we are paying for.

Foods are very good! Staffs are very helpful and welcoming. Beach is very small and we just swam there twice. Resort is beautiful you will see animals visiting. For those that looking for a quiet getaway, might not be a good idea. If you run out of water from your room, don’t bother calling room service. Just go up to reception and ask them and you’ll get it. PCR or Antigen Test are available within the resort, very convenient. Overall, we are happy and satisfied. Thank you Ocean.

Went to Ocean Maya Royale this past week and had such a great time!Food: Many food options, especially for a vegetarian like myself. They have a few restaurants which don't even require reservations which was fantastic and convenient. They also have room service which was basic but great when hungry for a snack.Entertainment: The entertainment staff was the best part of this resort. This team was always working hard to make sure everyone was having fun but was also very respectful if someone did not want to participate. A big shout out to Jonath, Angel, Andrea, Alexis and Eddy for making it so fun, interacting with us and being so friendly!Room: The room was nice and was always cleaned perfectly. Our minibar was restocked everyday and everything was always organized when we came back tired from the beach.Other resort staff: The workers at this resort were always super friendly, not once did we have a staff member who didnt greet us with (probably with a smile but they were always wearing masks and being safe), even when outside. They always worked hard to get us the things we needed and made great conversation.Overall, I had a great vacation! I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a good combination of fun but also relaxation!

Very beautiful place!! The music from Alexis and the wonderful games with Laura made the pool experience amazing!! Sergio was so helpful from arranging a taxi to teaching us Spanish!! All the staff was super friendly and helpful! The room was cleaned daily, and the food was a great selection!

A PHENOMENAL TIME!!! We went on a couple’s trip with a group of friends to Ocean Maya Royale. It was such a beautiful resort that was very clean and well maintained. All the staff were so welcoming, kind and polite! The entertainment crew every day AND night were spectacular — special shout-out to Allein, Angel, Andrea, Jonath, Alexis, Laura and Eddy for making our time at the resort unforgettable. We cannot wait to come back and see all these amazing people!!! 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to relax and have a fun time!

We can recommend the Ocean Maya Royale Hotel so much! The food, drinks, shows in the evening and the complete surrounding is just amazing! The Hotel has a beautiful garden with many cute animals. The rooms are big and clean. The staff is very lovely and gives their best. Also the animation team (Allein, Andrea, Alexis, Eddy, Vierly, Laura and Angel) does everything to make our honeymoon as beautiful, fun and lovely as possible!! We will come back! Si, estuve en este hotel y desafortunadamente no tengo un buen concepto del mismo, la razón espor haber tenido desde mi llegada una mala experiencia, mi estadía fue de 5 noches y 6 días, al llegar y hacer el check-in, me informaron que la agencia de viajes que vio mis vacaciones en este hotel había cancelado las 2 noches y tres días para otra fecha, desde ahí ya estaban mal , estuve más de 3 horas con este problema y no admitían que el error fue de ellos, la empleada del hotel de reservaciones se había equivocado el gerente me informaba que no era problema de ellos que era de la agencia y de ahí no lo sacaba, hasta que nos admitieron y con 4 noches, con la molestia de que al segundo día la recamarera nos informa que es nuestro día de salida, y el susto de que nos sacarán del hotel, al ir a ver qué pasaba mi encuentro con elgerente muy desagradable, hasta que la agencia arreglo este problema, con respecto al hotel es bonito pero un poco caro para lo que te dan, el cuarto chico, el baño chico e incómodo, ah, la vista fea que nos tocó, tengo la dicha de vivir en Mérida, Yuc. Y poder ir de vacaciones a la Riviera maya y conozco muchos hoteles de ese lugar y mejores que este, pero hago la aclaración este hotel es solo para adultos no hay niños es muy tranquilo, para las personas que quieren vacaciones tranquilas, no para jóvenes, la comida la verdad no muy variada, casi lo mismo en el bufet lo que anuncian de tantos restaurantes no es así, tal vez por la pandemia, solo había 2 y el Snack de 11 a 6 , bares solo hay 2 en la playa y piscinas,este hotel si tiene muy bonita su playa y otra cosa muy desagradable había muchísima gente, que no había camastros en piscinas y playa, yo tuve que pedir que me dieran una silla para poner mis cosas y muy amablemente la señorita de las toallas me consiguió una Silleta del restaurante, definitivo no me gustó este hotel.

Great place to stay. Entertainment is fantastic. Staff is very accommodating. My only complaint is there is not enough Mexican cuisine. There is only a small section in the La Hacienda buffet. I normally rent a car, so I get my fix when I'm out and about but I wish it was showcased more at the resort. I know a lot of tourists are scared to venture out, so it would be cool if they could experience a little more of the rich culture this beautiful country has to offer.

The customer service is top notch. They go above and beyond. All the employees were friendly, helpful, while not being intrusive. Their drinks (alcoholic and non alcoholic) were excellent. Unfortunately there was a lot of seaweed ( not their fault) on the beach. It can get smelly (fishy) from it. They were working overtime on cleaning the beach and I can't blame them. They were there for several hours daily cleaning.

It was a wonderful stay in this hotel. Ocean Maya Royale is very nicely situated, besides the buildings there are a lot of trees, flowers and fascinating animals living among them. As far as rooms are concerned, they are big enough and comfortable. Of course we were impressed because of variety of the food, that was served everyday, it was always fresh and very delicious. Furthermore I must mention the employees, which are cleaners, waiters, bartenders etc. they are very polite, helpful and always cheerful. In addition I cannot forget about the dedication of the animators, who are working hard to give fun to the people in the hotel, e.g. during the volleyball play. At last I must write about one disadvantage, which I experience in Ocean Maya Royale. It was the quality of bathroom, especially the shower. Water was sometimes cold, its pressure weak and finally the components of shower seemed to be dated. Nevertheless, I fully recommend to choose this hotel, when you are in Mexico, because it is really great place and gives you the unforgettable memories.

I wanted to love this resort because the grounds are so lovely. But there were just too many negatives for me. When you arrive, you drive down this long, tree-lined road like you're coming up to something great. The main part of the resort sits on a little hill. So, great entrance. I paid extra for Privilege service, but they didn't have record of it. I had to pull out my bank transaction to show them. The golf carts to transport guests to their rooms are old. If you arrive between 2p-4p good luck getting food. The only place open are the lobby bar (no food) and grill near the pool. They don't have a swim-up bar. I could forgive that if they had bar service. It baffles my mind that a supposed five star resort doesn't have bar service around the pool. Also, staff was very slow about picking up cups & plates around the pool, so animals were everywhere. A cat was circling the tables at the Italian restaurant and no attempt was made to remove it. The staff seemed tip-hungry. There weren't enough chairs around the pool. They need to do some updates and invest in better furniture and fixtures. I wanted to love this place because the grounds and setting are awesome, but service outdated equipment and furniture were major factors in my disappointment. Shout out to Oli the bartender. He was the highlight of my stay.

The food was very good in almost all restaurants with lots of choice and wild animals such as Coatis added to the experience. Would happily go back. The focus was on fun loving people and this hotel may not be for everyone but my girlfriend and I had a brilliant 7 days.

Resort food everything was amazing! Couldn’t have asked for anything more! Blue moon restaurant was definitely my favourite food was incredible! Entertain team were excellent literally didn’t stop the whole day thank you to Rodrigo and Arturo for always going out of there way to say hello they are so friendly! Fantastic games! Have no complaints would definitely be back in the future

It’s a really nice place with great views. People are always smiling and willing to help and I would come back one day. Pools are nice and there are many acts during the day. I would like to mention few things that should have been proven by now but still lacking. Almost no one really speaks English and it blows my mind:( this is a touristic place and staff should know English. Almost everyday i had issues communicating with the staff. There are about 5-6 restaurants to go to. Food selections includes way too much pork and should be decreased a little in my opinion. There are way too much mosquitoes everywhere and they should do something about it and not sure if they’re doing anything at all but they should asap. Overall it’s a great place to stay and would highly consider this place for future vacations.

let's get this out of the way, the food and drink options could be better, but you will find something to eat that you like (I liked the tacos, taquitos, and the breakfast options) and beer is beer. As for the rest, the place is nice, manicured grounds, cool wildlife everywhere, great swimming pools, and the beach had nice fine sand and they cleared all the seaweed every morning. The rooms were updated and nice, cold A/C, and nice bathrooms. The service was top notch, especially Miguel in the sports bar. There was also plenty of other young fun people around as well. It was well worth the $$.
