The food wasn't very good, and our room was not well maintained (broken faucet, etc). Also on your first day you can't book anything electronically, you need to wait in a long line and get whatever is leftover.

La ubicación y la playa lo mejor, buen lugar para pasarla bien en familia o en pareja, La atención de los mozos muy buena, buenos protocolos control covid, las áreas verdes muy bien conservadas y coloridas. Algunas cosas por mejorar como la recepción a los que llegan con movilidad propia y por primera vez, las habitaciones amplias y limpias sin embargo tomacorrientes desgastados, cortinas desgastadas por el tiempo.

Es un lugar lindo, con su playa, sus piscinas, su comida y sus atardeceres. Si buscan un lugar que los relaje y les de Calma.... Este es, tiene show en las noches y cine. Además de ello cancha de tenis.

Hermoso lugar, sin embargo el servicio debe mejorar. 1. Personal del hotel no atiende las lineas Telefonicas, 2. El numero de WhatsApp de soporte tiene limitaciones, no se puede agendar actividades ni revisar estado de reservas, 3. El personal en mostradores es grosero, 4. Para un hotel de esta categoria roban las toallas dentro del hotel 😳, toallas que no son nuevas, estan bastante Viejas 😂, 5. Para ser un all inclusive y como recién llegando, no tienen un ambiente propio para que puedes comer o refrescarte después que tardas en llegar 2 horas desde Tumbes. Debes esperar hasta las 3 para que te den tu pinche manilla. Mucho que mejorar, pero como andan twan lleno, no les interesa en hacerlo.

Bad value, they should have done better!!. Too many people, cold water in showers. Other places are much better, and cheaper. Decameron in Lima is good, - honestly wont recommend it.

Punta Sal Decameron resort is just ok. The food selection is extremely cheap and non quality ingredients. For the price payed I expected good food. No flavor and especially bad was a Peruvian quisine which is ridiculous as they are in Peru. Main swimming pool area had a foul stench of decomposing sea life. There was amountain of trash piled up next to the pool. The beach is super dirty as well and poorly maintained full of debris and decomposing smelly garbage. The hotel staff doesn't seem to care about this.Hotel shop is way over priced and do not buy anything there, bring plenty of sun block. There is no room service and the fridge was empty, no water or snacks or a coffee machine. Espresso served at the only bar in hotel was so ooooo bad. I don't think the coffee is if good quality and the bartender did not know how to operate it and I got a sorry excuse for a coffee. Just skip it. Bio security measures were enforced and monitored for mask wearing which is good. The best thing about the resort is the smaller pool apart from the main smelly one. We enjoyed this facility but we're not allowed to get drinks and had to go to other pool 1km apart to get drinks which are the same and it was ridiculous. For the price the value was low. Maybe their all inclusive plus is a bit better but I doubt it. Get your act together, clean the garbage and hire some good chefs and get quality ingredients in the kitchen is my advice to hotel management. It has a potential to be a great place falling short by cost saving measures in kitchen and poor management of the property. A real shame and not comparable to other Decameron hotels we stayed in.

Everything was perfect, except for the entrance to the resort. It’s the second time I go to Royal Decameron Punta Sal and after 5 years the entrance from the highway to the resort has not changed at all. I recommend to make changes on this part as it is the first impression before getting there.

The details to cleanliness is topnotch especially for covid , the grounds are kept beautifully and has a modern feel to it , huge beautiful pool, acces to the ocean but that's were it stops, the price they charge to stay here isn't worth it when it comes to the rooms , they look bland and outdated nothing you would expect for the high price they charge , the TV's are outdated and small no mini-fridge in the room cheap scratchy towels, the drinks they served were horribly made in the 4 days we stayed. The quality of food was also subpar for the price most of it lacked seasoning and missed the mark, if your looking for activity or games you would expect at resort you won't find them here, I get it's covid but you could still work around that, if it wasn't for the excellent dance shows at night you would go crazy of bordem , overall I would avoid this place

The resort experience for my gf and me was amazing. We have traveled all over the world and this was are first resort experience and we enjoyed every second of it. Very friendly staff, helpful even when my Spanish wasn't the best, and the entertainment was great. Thank you for an amazing experience.

Disappointing. No quality in the food. For an expensive place, everyone here is treated with cheap things. To start with, we were stuck outside the gates in blistering heat because our booking was not recognized on their system. And when I say we, I mean me and my newly-wed pregnant wife. We were out there for about an hour. We finally got let in and after going through 3 receptionists, none of them showed even a little sympathy that a pregnant woman was crying because we paid money for this hotel and they didn't even have a room for us. FOR OUR HONEYMOON. No humanity. No sympathy. No assistance. No support. We had to pay on the spot, not only on top of our original booking, but more expensive than our original booking and for less time. We couldn't even get a refund. The receptionists were straight faced and useless. Absolutely no solutions were offered other than 'pay us more money'. One of the receptionists also ignored half my questions and kept walking away. When we went to get our bags to go to the room, I found my bag opened. It doesn't open by itself. By the time we got to our room, it was too late for lunch and we had not eaten all day. After a little while there was a snack place open. It wasn't great. 3 chicken nuggets and a small bunch of fries. For such an expensive place I would expect WiFi, and pretty good connection. But the rooms don't have it. There is only one spot that does and the connection is the slowest you can imagine. It took 3 hours to upload 2 photos and a short video. There should have been WiFi at all parts and in the rooms. When dinner finally came, it was a huge disappointment. We made a reservation for the Chinese dinner and only 5 tables had people sitting. It was empty. The food was bad. Some of the rice was still hard and there is no way we can consider that a quality meal or worthy of such a high status resort. It also wasn't sufficient. When lunch came the next day, there weren't enough tables and our table got jacked by a woman with no respect at all. The drinks and some of the food here were not natural at all. It was very fake. The best thing I ate there was a hot dog at midnight. For a honeymoon, a massive disappointment. For any visit, also a massive disappointment.

The hotel is nice, clean and comfortable. It just needs a playground for kids with swings, see-saws, slides etc. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Some of the guests don't throw their plastic cups (after drinking from the pool bar) in the garbage bins close to the pool. There should be a sign to indicate them where to dispose of them. Or have someone to walk around and pick up those cups. Also there should be staff speaking English.
