“I recently had the opportunity to visit Sonesta ES in Somers Point New Jersey. Although the corporate website boats of COVID cleanliness protocol, as the photos below illustrate, the room was filthy. When we entered the room the first thing we observed was a large stain on the carpet. Additionally, there was food and debris on the kitchen floor, and what appeared to be mouse droppings under the counter. Finally, the stove was dirty and there was dried food on the utensils in the drawer. The entire room was completely unacceptable. I have reached out to Sonesta corporate compliance to address the uncleanliness of this location; however, no response was received. That being said, the hotel is conveniently located to Ocean City, NJ, and many tourist destinations, just do NOT expect a clean room.”

“The place was really nice and the rooms were really cool! However, our room had THREE beds & ALL three beds were dirty. One of the beds had a bunch of dog hair and stains all over it, and the other two had stains and were extremely dirty. The carpets were filthy and stained. When we told the staff about the bedsheets, they didn’t offer to change them or give us new ones; They just said that they would put a note in the system about it. and the cutting board that was in the kitchen was dirty from the previous people, and so were the counters in the kitchen area. There was nothing to use to start the dishwasher & our iron was broken. Overall, it was in a really nice location & a good price, but really grimy & wouldn’t stay here again. the customer service is TERRIBLE”
