The studio was very nice, hotel has a clean pool and polite staff. But my room was rather unclean. There were small pieces of broken glass on the carpet, dirty finger marks on doors. With ten minutes of cleaning this would have been a 5-star room.

I checked in for less than 12 hours to get some sleep on 7/31/21. When I checked out, I noticed an additional $100 room charge on my credit card. The front desk said the charge was a mistake and would clear in a few days. It did but reappeared on 8/10/21. I was told it was for a smoking charge but I don’t smoke. And, I hadn’t been there in 10 days! Today is 8/21/21. I’ve yet to be refunded. I’ve been getting the run around from a supervisor named Diana. I’m so disappointed. My family and I really enjoy Sonesta properties. After this experience, we’ll never consider them again.

If I could give 0 stars I would. First off if you have the chance to stay at another motel I would highly recommend it me and my girlfriend worked at a Sonesta suites in Dublin Ohio which was a very beautiful facility and well kept 5 star without question. The staff at the Cleveland facility was by far the worst group of employees I have ever seen rude and under educated was my first impression of the counter people especially Roger moving on upon arrival it took 1 hour to be checked in again the counter help was slow once we checked into our room we found a variety of issues including no pots and pans to cook with although we were supplied 2 saucers 1 cup and a few utensils lol unreal moving on the bathtub had hair in it with a cigarette burn also there was trash underneath the sink so me and my girlfriend proceeded back to the lobby where roger was working again we stood in line for 30 minutes while multiple people proceeded to move to the front of the line with their issues which I thought was extremely rude and unprofessional on the part of roger. Moving on once we finally got to the counter we were assured that roger would take care of issues in the room which included once again pots and pans to cook with also couldn't take a shower because of the dirty tub we explained to roger that we will return in a few hours. Upon returning back to the room that evening our cards didn't work so we once again went to the lobby where roger had stepped out so we waited 15 more minutes waiting on help he never addressed the issue withe the pots and pans or the dirty bath tube. Bottom line Sonesta suites should be ashamed of themselves for this dump of an operation in Cleveland Ohio

Good hotel with excellent value. Nice and clean. Front desk was very helpful. We're in town for a college visit and we'll stay here for sure again if this is the school our son chooses.

The hotel was reasonably priced and though it is older and had some maintenance issues, it was very comfortable. The staff was helpful and when we made requests about those maintenance issues, they responded well. Pandemic restrictions (no cleaning, having to get your own towels and toilet paper, etc) are inconvenient, but I assume they are the norm now. t I have only one real complain: its their weekend "grab bag breakfast" rules. Get this, you can't get your grab bag breakfast on Saturday or Sunday before 8 a.m. The bags are all made up. (I know because I walked down the hall and saw them sitting on a table) But because I was asking for one at 7:30 a.m. I couldn't have one! I told them that I knew they were available. The staff responded that it was a rule that they could not put them out. So the guest that has an 8 a.m. meeting or needs to leave early is just out of luck. Can't help but think this rigid rule is a misunderstanding and the intransigence of the staff on the subect is not in the best interest of the hotel chain.
