“My boyfriend booked the room for the weekend. It was just some time for us to get away and spend much needed alone time. Upon checking in the Front Desk Clerk couldn't explain why we needed to pay more yet we reserved room online. He proceeded to charge my card and we went up to the room. The room was clean and very inviting. Sunday morning the electricity went out for a lengthy amount of time. I called to the front desk and asked for a late check out the Front Desk Clerk told me I couldn't get that accommodation. We proceeded to clean up and leave the room. We walk down a dark hallway to the elevator. Not even thinking about the power outage the elevator didn't work. So we had to walk down a dark stairwell in order to exit the hotel. My biggest problem no one called or came by the room to explain the loss of power. No lights provided in the stairwell, had I fallen it would've been some stuff. And why isn't there a back up generator? I just didn't feel welcomed and treated as a valued guest.”
