“We stayed along with our friends on 26th November last year and the hotel was clean and modern but our room was very cold but reception did supply us with a heater. The service in the hotel completely let them down. Ordered cooked breakfast and waited nearly an hour and then was partly cold when they finally brought it, after we asked what had happened to our breakfast. This was the same every morning. We also tried the restaurant onSaturday evening and honestly couldn’t believe how bad the service was as we had never experienced anything like it. Waited 45 minutes for our main meal to come and when it did arrive it was cold so had to go back and waited another 25 minutes and was cold again. Our friends had same problem too, with food being cold when it was brought to our table. We asked is there a staff shortage and his reply was yes because staff were concentrating on dealing with room service so we were being neglected. Not surprisingly the chef would not even come out to speak to us when they said room service took priority. We were paying guests so we’re not happy at all, and I was the one to recommend this hotel to our friends so I felt I had let them down. Disappointed Monica Taberner”
