I loved this hotel. You can tell management really tries to keep it nice and updated even though it’s a little older. The staff are so friendly and nice! The bed was really comfortable. I loved that there was a little Starbucks downstairs. I wish I would have had time to use the pool, but maybe next time! Excellent price and close to everything. Eu amei este hotel. I wanted to share some feedback from our recent stay at one of your hotels, Radisson Hotel Grand Rapids Riverfront (Ann St). We booked a room for our sons birthday. His one request was to swim for his birthday. Despite living locally, we booked a room to play in the pool and then spend the night.When we arrived to our room, it was not in the best shape. There was sticky stuff all on the nightstand and crumbs in the corner of the rooms. It is apparent that work has been done to the outside of the motel but the inside is completely outdated and in need of repairs (stains in tub, on floor, in the ceiling, ripped furniture, etc).The pool and hot tub were gorgeous!! It was evident that that area had been recently remodeled or just has been taken care of very good. But… the pool was visibly dirty with dirt / grime on the bottom. Surprisingly enough, we could still see the dirt despite terrible lighting. I tried to get the lights to come on more but couldn’t. I went to the desk to ask for assistance. The front desk attendant and possibly a maintenance person came to the pool and told me the lights were on a timer and should come on maybe between 630 and 7. Mind it was 530 when we arrived to the pool. That never happened. We were the only guests thankfully so I could have my eyes on my kids at all times; however, if the pool had been crowded it would have been difficult to see if someone was at the bottom due to it being dark. We had fun, a lot of fun. But the lack of lighting has to be a safety violation or some sort of licensing issue.Overall, we had a lot of fun and my son said it was the best birthday ever; however, I would not recommend the motel to anyone and won’t be back. Almost wanted to leave when we arrived, but unfortunately there aren't any hotels in the immediate surroundings and we were with a couple of friends.The employees are very nice, but it stops there.Our King room really needed a refresh.Cobwebs up near where the wall and ceiling meet.The bed was very firm and not comfortable.At around 2am I went to the bathroom to find a roach on the bathroom wall.I did a light search in the dark and couldn't see any more anywhere, picked up my husband's suitcase from the floor, and laid awake for a couple hours.I let the front desk know about it when checking out.Also, I could have done a better caulk job around the tub in the bathroom.There's an old, rusty vent in the shower. The first room I got had a heater that wouldn't turn off and I was roasting, I went back to the front desk and was given a different room. At least I could turn off the heat. Instead of shampoo bottles and conditioner there were 2 conditioners so I had to use the soap to wash my hair. The bed was nice, a king size, and although pretty firm I got a good night's sleep. Lastly, there were 4 pillows, and these were the best part of the stay. They were soft but provided good support. A decoração está realmente cansada e desatualizada. Breakfast is not covered/payed for so be prepared. The lobby area is nice and put together. After you enter the doors to go to the rooms everything is very outdated and feels neglected. The bathrooms are super small and outdated as well. The shower heads are super old and also outdated. I don’t think the bathrooms have been updated since the hotel was built. The caulk around the tub was turning black and it just seemed dirty. The carpet was stained. The bed was the only good part about this stay other than the friendly staff at the desk. We didn’t shower or anything during our stay because of the shower. The amount I paid is more than I would ever pay for a room so outdated and small. I wish I knew what the rooms truly looked like so I could have gone to the embassy suites and paid an extra $50 for an updated clean room and had breakfast made cook to order. Compared to the pictures online and seeing it in person are night and day difference. Again the staff were super friendly which made it a little better but wasn’t worth it. O serviço era muito amigável, camas e banheiro limpos ... Mas ... o potencial do local não foi totalmente aproveitado. Esperançosamente, quando as pessoas voltarem ao trabalho, o lounge / restaurante abrirá e eles poderão reservar um pouco de música ao vivo para o pátio. Se isso acontecer, eu definitivamente voltaria. O preço era bem decente para o que conseguimos.

The service was very friendly, beds and bathroom clean... But... the potential of the location was not fully tapped. Hopefully as ppl go back to work the lounge/restaurant will open and they can book some live music for the patio. If that happens I would definitely go back. The price was pretty decent for what we did get though.

For the price it was great. The lady at the front counter needs help, more staff would stop a 45 minute check in. The pool was awesome, the hot tub was great. The showers are super powerful and the renos on the rooms turned out nice. The bar was closed but the patio was awesome. The balconies are closed but the easy on and off from the highway was super easy. Walking distance to a liquor store and restaurants and close to town. For 100 bucks, we would be back.

It wasn’t as bad as the other reviews made it seem. The staff were nice and very accommodating. Our room was clean. The only two issues we had were a lamp that kept flashing while it was turned off but we just unplugged it and checkout took a little longer than expected but I’m sure that’s because of the current nationwide staffing shortages so it wasn’t really a big deal for us. All in all we had a great stay.

Liguei e perguntei se eles podiam fazer o check-in antecipado. Eles disseram que sim e que poderíamos vir às 14h. My favorite short getaway from home, always quick easy reliable service. The facilities and everything were amazing. It's such a unique little hotel with so much rich history. I've never had a bad expirence and will always stay here when I need a night away (: kudos to nick (I believe) whom ever the gentlemen is whom worked 3rd shift Tuesday night. Keep up the good work!

The hotel was nice and the room was as expected. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful as far as any concerns. My only complaint is that vacuuming is not included in the daily trash pick up. I had to stay for a week for a business trip and naturally eating in the room everyday accumulated some crumbs. I understand with COVID the rules have changed so I’m not upset it just wasn’t what I expected. Otherwise this is a great hotel for the price!

I called and asked if they were able to do early check in. They said yes and that we could come at 2pm. They never mentioned that this would be any sort of problem with housekeeping, and when checking in, the girl at the desk had to ask what I assume was the manager if the room was cleaned already. The manager said yes, it was or else the computer would have prompted that it wasn’t ready. When we arrived in our room, we noticed it was not cleaned properly. There were salt and what we assumed was pizza sauce marks on the counters, smudges in the bathroom sink and also in the toilet bowl. We called and asked for someone to come clean, which they did, but we had to wait for them to arrive then wait for them to finish cleaning, which made our time to get ready for the wedding we were attending shorter. The worst part was that after the wedding, when we were exhausted and ready to go to bed, we pulled back the covers to find food crumbs in the made bed. When the hotel manager was in the room to wipe down the covers I had talked to her about what appeared to be a small stain on the comforter, but she ensured me that it was most definitely clean and washed and just a mark. With white bedding being so hard to keep spotless, I took her word for it. We ended up sleeping an uncomfortable night on top of the covers, because it was so late and we were too tired to spend more time waiting on staff to get us new bedding. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone, ever. We were not even offered any compensation for this disgusting lack of cleanliness! Look elsewhere for a hotel, there are tons in GR!
