“Great hotel and certainly the best in Cooktown. The restaurant serves some excellent meals.
Well worth a stop if in Cooktown”

“Wish we could have spent more than 1 night here.
The family 2 bedroom room was spacious, clean and the beds soft and comfy. The view from the 2nd level almost saw the river mouth but just under the tree line.
The pool was cool and tranquil.
The bar was nice too, cold beers after a day's driving but no dogs allowed even when seated on the outside tables. Not sure why. But if you have dogs this is not the place for you.”
