“Chegamos para fazer check inn no dia 04/01/2022 com 03 três crianças após voo longo, sequer foram buscar nossas malas no Veiculo, o recepcionista incompetente não localizou nossa reserva no sistema (sendo que ela havia sido feita pela Decolar com 1 mês de antecedência), fomos distratados por péssimos profissionais com presença de segurança armado para constranger pois fiz uma reclamação sobre o atendimento. Não aceitaram nosso PCR pois foi feito no exterior (de onde nosso voo partiu), sendo que outro hotel da mesma rede Tivoli Palácio de Seatais havia aceito na véspera o mesmo PCR. Péssima experiência! Péssimo hotel! Péssimo recepcionistas!Humilharam 03 crianças e 03 adultos, viajamos o mundo e nunca passamos por isso. Sin duda no puedo ser mejor. Es un resort que por el precio da la calidad adecuada. Personal muy amable, el aparcacoches para mí fue un punto muy a favor. Habitaciónes grandes, limpias y de la calidad que ofrece este hotel. Tiene detalles contigo y un desayuno-buffet con mucha variedad y calidad. El estorbo está espectacular. Piscina muy buena, en lo personal para mí la piscina debería ser un poco más grande en comparación a las habitaciones que tiene el hotel. Con skybar y cala privada. Sin duda volvería a repetir. Les doy mis enorabuenas por el hotel que tienen.

You have to leave dogs in the room. But you pay $25 euro/night for the convenience. So if you want to go and explore the Algarve. Their reasoning is, someone has to stay in the room. So if you want to go kayaking or a boat trip. You can't... because you are paying more than the cost of a car rental to leave your pet.Just say you aren't pet friendly and stop showing up as a pet friendly hotel.

Stopped for a drink, a snack and to watch the sunset, all were great. Helpful staff, great cheese n fruit platter not a bad fizz, and the sunset was magnificent from the cosy lounge/bar area which is half open to the cliffs and sea. Shall be back, soon.

Steak in mare bistro was amazing , finely cooked and the waiter cesar was amazing 10/10 service, gave us what we wanted. The hotel is beautiful had a wicked view, there was a lot minor glitches from room service due to language barrier but they compensated us which was the standard any customer should receive.

O hotel é deslumbrante. Fica em Carvoeiro que é uma região bem pequena longe de Albufeira ou Vilamoura.Mas voltaria para lá sem dúvida. Tem um restaurante maravilhoso e uma vista espetacular. Quem for usar o GPS, atenção porque ele vai te levar por caminhos bem sinuosos, mas você chega lá.O melhor é ir por Lagos.Mas estude as rotas antes de ir. De qq forma você nao vai se perder.

The grounds and pool area are impeccable with outstanding dramatic Cliffside views over the Atlantic ocean. Having a delicious brunch seated facing a beautiful natural setting was a great way to start the day. This was a very short stay, so we weren’t able to enjoy all of the amenities and activities the hotel offers. The town is a short drive away and has many restaurants to choose from in the evenings.

Apesar da modernização, este hotel perdeu todo o glamour que sempre o caracterizou, quartos minúsculos, e preços exorbitantes, serviço de péssima qualidade ao nível de um 3 estrela, nunca correspondendo às 5. Lembro que ainda no passado f de semana estive 90 minutos à espera de uma sandwich Club. Simplesmente inadmissível. O famoso e muito amado Almansor de 4 estrelas desapareceu para dar lugar a um edifício branco sem qualquer expressão, inadmissível também as carpetes do corredor dos quartos 654, 655, 656 e 657, estarem horrivelmente manchadas de branco, dando um ar de falta de cuidados inadmissivel. Não mais irei voltar.

Our stay here was just ok. The room was very small and run down. We got a balcony room but our balcony was facing a heater and just other rooms. The buffet for dinner was extremely disappointing. The breakfast on the other hand was very well done.The staff is very hit or miss. There were definitely people who were very friendly and helpful and others who were dismissive and not helpful. Everything here is pretty expensive and also they do not do covid testing on site.

A estadia foi boa, mas este hotel não corresponde de todo a 5 estrelas. Acho que para 4 estrelas não teria nada a apontar. Deste modo, vou começar pela avaliação:pontos positivos: 1. Staff afável e sempre pronto para ajudar; 2 . A comida é ótima; 3. O quarto era confortável; 4. A entrada do hotel é bastante atraente.Pontos negativos: 1. A porta do hotel não é automática, inclusive até um pouco pesada; 2. Os corredores são demasiados desnudos, não é nada cuidado,paredes que precisam de ser urgentemente renovadas, bem como o tapete antigo e horrível e que nada está cuidado; 3. Nos quartos falta uma tábua de engomar; 4. A mesa na varanda estava toda estragada e com ferrugem; 5. A piscina tinha falta de ladrilhos.

El enclave del hotel es muy bonito, merece la pena alojarse en el, si no pagáis una tarifa alta por lo siguiente. La habitación limpia, cama muy cómoda, y reseñable los siguientes aspectos; El de menos importancia, las manchas en la moqueta del pasillo de las habitaciones. El siguiente, el kit dental, el cepillo estaba abierto. Para mí más importante, cuidado con la Reserva de la habitación. Nosotros elegimos una superior con terraza pensando que la terraza tendría vistas o visitas parciales, pero nunca pensamos que daría al parking del hall de entrada. Bajamos a hablar con recepción para ver la posibilidad de cambiar de habitación e incluso hacer un upgrade. La respuesta fue que no tenían disponibilidad y que si se quedaba libre algo nos lo comentarían y admas aludió, a "sólo van a estar una noche". Nosotros estamos muy acostumbrados a viajar, y a veces probamos a hacer la reserva de una noche y si nos gusta ampliamos. En este caso no va a ser, porque tener una habitación con vistas al parking me parece una tomadura de pelo. Y si estamos solo una noche, pues solo una noche y lo disfrutamos. No me ha gustado ese aspecto. Solicitamos por cortesía salir de la habitación a las 13.00 y la respuesta fue NO, no nos lo esperábamos, por cortesía en buenos hoteles siempre permiten, a lo que le dijimos que recogíamos y a más tardar a las 12.45 estaríamos fuera, eso sí? Sin sentido. Y por último un mal gesto en el desayuno, aclarado con la encargada, que fue muy educada y amable.Toda crítica para mejorar.Un cordial saludo.

We've booked a front see view deluxe and got a side sea view so we've asked for a change and the answer was that they will look for a free room the next days, but nothing changed and we clearly saw there were free rooms with a sealing tape on them. The administration didn't bother to change it. Clearly not a 5 star hotel for the prices they charge

Fantastic location. Breakfast is Great with lovey views. Hotel throughout is exceptionally clean. Lovley staff and if you lucky enough to have your birthday whilst staying there.. staff delivered to my room cake and a bottle of sparkling wine. Which was a nice touch.

Overall it was an underwhelming experience, too expensive for what you get. The hotel has potential and the staff is nice, but it is not worth the price. The only thing you can truly enjoy are the views. The staff is polite but they are not very well organized. Pool is crowded and sunbeds are not cleaned after use. Not even the glasses are picked up. Kids playing with inflatable toys, adults playing with a ball and nobody from the staff said a word. We ended up going to the beach every day rather than staying at the hotel. On top of that, there are no activities, no live music, no nothing. Terrible Internet connection. Sky Bar closes really soon, at 22:30. Breakfast is extremely busy and it corresponds to an average 3-4* hotel. It does not have any local food! Lunch menu is simply not good and lacks in variety. Why do you give two pair of slippers in a MALE and FEMALE bag, when in the room are staying two MALES ? The "funny" thing is that both pair of slippers have the same size! And please do not reply to this comment with a copy/paste answer.

Estuvimos 7 días las vistas preciosas el desayuno correcto. La cama supletoria inadmisible para un tercer adulto. El personal de recepción no empatiza con los problemas. Te cobran toda la estancia nada más entrar ósea si tienes un problema te aguantas….la cala del hotel inaccesible. El restaurante de self service 41 euros por persona y comida muy mala. Y la zona de arriba para tomar algo 1 hora para dos cervezas.El chiringuito de la piscina lo mejor. Personal y trato superamable

La ubicación del hotel espectacular, pero la comida tanto en el bufet como en el restaurante a la carta no muy buena, de hecho contratamos media pensión y solo cenamos en el bufet dos dias. El servicio de habitaciones tampoco nos ha gustado demasiado, no reponian el minibary no limpiaban la terraza

One star for the Wi-Fi - haven’t seen such a bad connection for a at least decade even on remote islands. Avoid rooms with no sea view and those that have sea views but are on floors 1-3. Three is okeyish but you still have a very limited sea view. There is a sky bar on 7th floor - closed at least during day. Outdated corridors. Only rooms, restaurants and entrance floor (5th) have been refurbished. Expensive for what you get.

Estuvimos la noche del 9/10 de julio 2021. La habitación con vistas espectaculares. Pagamos por ella 321€. Pero si buscas silencio que no te den una habitación de la cuarta planta, justo debajo del restaurante. Hay ruidos de voces, tenedores, sillas etc hasta muy tarde y luego te despierta lo mismo a las seis y media de la mañana. En un hotel de cinco estrellas y esos precios no pueden ocurrir estas cosas. La gente que paga ese dinero no se puede ir descontenta por no poder descansar.

OJITO CON EL “ADMITE MASCOTAS” Escogimos ese hotel por su ubicación, sus vistas, sus 5* y porque “admitía mascotas”. Su definición de ello es que el animal solo puede entrar e ir directo a la habitación y que bajo ningún concepto se quede solo en la habitación . Por ello no podíamos bajar a desayunar ni mucho menos disfrutar del hotel en si. No obstante después de casi 700€ que cuesta el fin de semana hay un recargo de 25€ por la mascota para sólo poder dormir. Les dio igual nuestro descontento y después de 4 horas de coche tuvimos que buscarnos otro hotel.

Después de hacer la reserva y confirmar que admiten mascotas , cuando llegamos al hotel nos pusieron mil impedimentos con mi perro de 900 gramos. Prácticamente nos invitaron a no hospedarnos allí y les dio igual que hubiéramos conducido hasta allí durante 5 horas . Tuve que buscar otro hotel urgentemente . Por poco arruinan mis vacaciones.

My girlfriend and I had a fantastic time here. We came for a birthday and we were treated to a bottle of Champagne and a room upgrade. We are at The One restaurant and had a drink at the sky bar. Staff were super friendly. Only minor gripe was the breakfast, and it’s not about the food nor the COVID rules and the effect on how long the buffet sits for as the staff have to serve you. It’s not the only hotel to do this though. Terrific stay though. We loved it.

Great building and location, but rude staff. I’m not sure if it was homophobia (I was there with my boyfriend) or simply a stressful period due to fewer clients because of travel restrictions, but we got a consistently bad experience of rudeness. There were some particularly rude people (the older men at reception and on the terrace) who would practically berate us for asking to upgrade our room (offering to pay for it of course) or for asking if they had anything gluten free (it’s not a fashion, I get sick if I eat it). There were also some positive exceptions, notably a man at the bread station during breakfast who was always charming and polite.

Special, almost secluded location (sea views) with a narrow window to the sea and cove. Very friendly, helpful people in crews at reception, restaurants,... Clean, spacious rooms. Food is good. Sometimes a challenge dealing with people waiting (skybar), or long waiting time for food (pool restaurant). But easily rubbed away with a nice glass of excellent Portuguese wine 😊

Un hotel excelente para tomarse unos días de relax y disfrutar de la bella naturaleza de esta zona. Con una ubicación excepcional junto a los acantilados de Vale do Covo. Excelente acogida por parte de la señora de recepción, Julieta, que nos lo explico todo, y también por el señor Jorge, que nos ayudó con las maletas y nos aclaro también algunas dudas . Se llevan a rajatabla las medidas anti covid. Desayuno aceptable y con personal eficiente. Nuestra habitación magnífica y las camas supercomoda. Por poner alguna pega, solo decir que algún día, la limpieza de la habitación dejo algo que desear.

Pedimos una habitación con vistas al mar y la tenemos, pero no se parece en nada a las fotos de la habitación que reservamos. En las fotos el cuarto debaño era todo transparente y muy elegante.Ni tenemos Albornoz ni han tenido un detalle por ser nuestro primer aniversario de bodas. Tenemos la sensación de haber pagado más de lo que tenemos. Y mal sabor de boca por pasar así nuestro primer aniversario. Nos vamos el martes pero me hubiese ido hoy mismo si no hubiese pagado ya la estancia. Que desilusión.

Muchos comentarios positivos nos convencieron de ir. Se ve que tuvimos mala suerte en general. Hotel que acoge más clientes de los que realmente tiene la capacidad de atender. Tras pagar extra por habitación con vistas al mar, el mar se intuía... y encima era una habitación con un ruido intermitente continuo (día y noche), que no solucionaron. Insuficientes sombrillas y tumbonas para los clientes. Nuestra sensación al final del viaje fue de haber pagado demasiado por algo que no merecía la pena. Lo único que salvamos es el personal de recepción que fue super agradable.
