Please read full comment. This was our second stay at the citadines, previous was in 2018. I am only changing the review due to its surroundings. It’s very sad, but near the hotel entrance, and adjacent steps to the bridge, day and night, you have presence of drug users throughout. Also, this was confirmed by our taxi driver about the place….This does not takeaway from the wonderful and professional service that the staff provides, but for us, this is a huge turn-off. Hopefully they will be able to have more police presence and assist the people in need.

Our travel agent booked this hotel for us. I did not like this hotel from the start of our trip. Dead end street, next to a cemetery with a bar across the street. Graffiti everywhere, dirty streets. The reception staff was helpful, hotel was clean however, we had booked two separate rooms and both had this weird smell we couldn't make out what it was. Both bathroom sinks clogged, our room had no working AC or heater, the noise downstairs was unbearable. One night the folks upstairs decided 1130pm was the perfect time to relocated furniture. People drinking until 5am on the staircases, yelling, throwing beer bottles. Ugh! We called the reception and complained, he said they couldn't do anything about it. It was open to the public. The hairdryer tube in the bathroom kept coming apart from the handle, therefore unusable. Someone rigged the lamp in the bedroom, clearly it was causing a short circuit; you can tell in the wall outlet. Three nights we were there, 3 nights too many. That was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.

Room service only every 6 days very little offering for breakfast (also for France people). Counter was not occupied all the time. Looong waiting in the evening no air conditining, it was very hot in the room and the blanket for the summer too thick The roof top terasse as good, nice view the area was quite and I could sleep even with the window open

The worst experience I ever had. I stayed there for 4 nights. By the time, temperature in Paris at night was 25-28°C, but the room was like over 35°C every night. I had to leave the window open, and the club at the street was so loud until 3am. It was nightmare! I’m not sleep almost all nights. I can’t imagine that hotel has not air conditioning. Room is good, staff is nice but not helpful!

The hotel was located next to the Montmartre cemetery (which may or may not be something that works for people). It is close to bus and metro connections and the Moulin Rouge. It seems to be located in an area that is in the process of gentrification. As a solo traveller, I'm not sure how safe I would have felt staying there alone (I met a friend for a few days before traveling on my own afterward). The room was large and had a small kitchenette (which I wasn't expecting) and included a fridge and basic necessities. They offered a breakfast but we just had coffee there in the morning before heading out. The front desk staff were helpful at check in and when we checked out, they held onto our luggage for a later departure.

We stayed in Citadines Montmartre for 6 nights in the first week of March 2022 (monday-sunday). Upon check-in at 15.00 we had to wait for around 30 mins before being able to enter our room, because unfortunately it wasn't ready yet. The first room we got had a weird vibe to it, some cobwebs on the ceiling and a damaged tv. Next to that the window that gave a view on the cemetary nextdoor did not fully close, which gave a huge window draft. We decided to ring the reception and kindly ask them for a different room, which we got. The second room we got immediately felt better. The 'Studio' room comes equipped with a bathroom, living/bedroom, kitchen and seperate toilet. The kitchen can be used to cook dinner without a doubt, which we did for four out of the seven days we spent in Paris. The equipment in the room is a bit outdated, for example the TV and in the bathroom. We had a bit of a scary moment on the third day of our trip, when we came back to an open door after spending the entire day wandering in the beautiful city of Paris. Around 10.00 in the morning that day weekly cleaning knocked on our door and would like to clean our room. We were just getting ready to head into town and left so they could start cleaning our room. When we came back in the evening around 18.00 our door was not shut properly by staff, and it must have been open the entire day, which we could not believe. Unacceptable, maybe the staff needs some (re)training. Absolute hotel-running basics. Luckily all of our personal belongings were still in the room. We parked our car in the underground parking offered by the hotel, which was good. We payed €110 for a week of parking. The parking is only accessible via the hotel itself using a hotel parking card. Location of the hotel is great, price is ok. The nearest metro-station is a two minute walk and there's plenty to see in the area. Because of our unfortunate experience with Citadines, we won't be booking with them again.

For £100 I guess you can't expect stellar service, but I have definitely stayed in nicer places for less. Our room wasn't cleaned at all during our stay (3 nights), and the toilet smelt of cigarette...

Excellent .. spotless . Perfect location. Comfortable beds. Everything we needed. Kettle, fridge, 2 ring electric hob. Microwave. Iron ! Hot drinks 24 hours in the lobby . And 2 balconies...
