Apesar de não ter água quente, o hotel é muito organizado, bonito e com funcionários atenciosos. O café da manhã é bom, tem suco, frutas, arepas, ovos e café. Os quartos variam dependendo do que foi reservado. Pegamos o deluxe e ficamos muito satisfeitos com ele. Bastante espaço e confortável.

Esqueci de tirar algumas fotos do Casa Baluarte mas é um Hotel com excepcional localização! Gostamos muito dos atendentes que explicam muito bem e auxiliam em quaisquer dúvida de Cartagena! As únicas vezes que utilizamos táxi foi na ida e vinda do Aeroporto. Nas proximidades você consegue comer bem, trocar dinheiro, fazer passeios e etc. Se um dia retornar com certeza reservarei aqui!

O hotel é uma graça. Tive a oportunidade de ficar alguns dias e experimentei três quartos diferentes, todos muito limpos e confortáveis. Os funcionários nos tratam com muita educação e os recepcionistas, em especial, são extremamente solícitos.

O lugar tem um quarto muito ruim . A cama é ruim, o banheiro então muito péssimo. A água é fria.... O banheiro é minúsculo o quarto TB é pequeno...para duas pessoas. O lugar é impossível. A parte boa é a localização e só. O café da manhã é regrado. Vc pede e eles te servem mas se vc pedir cereais com iogurte não pode pedir o pão. Coisa mais sem fundamento. Não recomendo . É um barato que sai caro.

Hotel simples, mas bom. Fizeram a reserva minha e da minha amiga em cama de casal e havíamos solicitado camas separadas, não conseguiram trocar. O quarto superior e pequeno mas novo, os quartos standart são antigos. O café da manhã é simples mas gostoso, porém não é buffet o que acabada demorando um pouco. Hotel localizado bem próximo a cidade murada e funcionários bem simpáticos.

El hotel es bonito y bien ubicado, pero tiene cosas para mejorar como la limpieza de las habitaciones y les falta tener más complementos, ya que no cuentan ni con planchas para la ropa y si la pides dicen que no tienen y ni se esfuerzan en conseguirla, tampoco tenía nevera el cuarto, cosa es importante para el clima costero

I was NEVER allowed to use the terrace on the top floor, the bathroom was old and small, nothing compared to the bathrooms that you will see in the profile photographs, there are many bugs, mosquitoes flying inside the room, the personal breakfast they offer is very regular.I did not feel at ease or comfortable as a guest, the treatment was as if I were disturbing someone else's house without paying, because the owners live on the top floor and they are primordial and not the guest.la terraza del último piso no me la permitieron usarla NUNCA, el baño estaba viejo y pequeño nada en comparación a los baños que verás en las fotografías del perfil, hay muchísimos bichos, mosquitos volando dentro de la habitación, el desayuno que ofrecen es un desayuno personal muy regular. no me sentí a gusto o cómoda como un huésped, el trato fue como si yo estuviese sin pagar molestando en una casa ajena, porque los dueños viven en el último piso y ellos son lo primordial y no el huésped.

Charming old style hotel inside walled city is a great place near to happening Gastenami and old city tourist spot. even with all the noise outside the hotel was relaxing and comfy. There interiors and a great breakfast made the stay all the more better.

Uno de los mejores hoteles de Getsemani, en las calles de la Media Luna, este barrio que se confunde con el centro de la ciudad, está rehabilitada, y es lo más visitado por propios y extraños. Este hotel tiene una vista única al resto del barrio Getsemani y una terraza con vista al centro de la ciudad, está remodelado al 100%, sus habitaciones de lujo no tienen nada que envidiar a los hoteles 5 estrellas de la ciudad. Cuenta con zona de masajes y sus desayunos son los mejores, con su recién exprimido sumo de naranjas y su café, recién tostado.

Worst hotel ever. When I checked in, the cleaning staff was just chilling in my room with no masks. When my partner arrived later in the day, the front desk asked for COP100,000 more PER night, even though we paid for a 2 people room. So ridiculous.

Stayed here for 10 days, and overall it was a positive experience. Location is prime for walking anywhere you need to go. The breakfast is my fav part for sure, which is served on the upper level terrace. The cleaning ladies were so nice. Front desk was helpful, and Hassan showed great customer service skills. Only reason why they don’t get 5 stars is because the shower is super cold and not only did wifi not work in my room, but I also lost connection each time. In order to communicate with my family, I sat in the lobby. For the price, I wouldn’t stay again, but if its in your budget, I still recommend!

I feel the need to leave the worst possible review for this hotel after the recent experience we’ve had. I have never been more dissatisfied with customer service. We booked our hotel room on November 30th for our stay on New Years Eve 2022. Low and behold two weeks before we are about to leave on our trip we get a cancellation notice via email. We did not cancel our reservation, Casa Baluarte (the hotel) canceled ours for NO REASON. The best part is, they will not give us a reason as to why they decided canceled our reservation 2 weeks AFTER our reservation was confirmed! All they’ve shared is they are “at capacity” and that this was a decision made by “the administration” but why was this not made clear from the time of reservation? They also refuse to connect us with a representative from administration so that we may have our questions addressed, very shady. As a concerned and extremely disappointed customer I urge other travelers- If you are planning to stay here do not be reassured of your plans, they may just cancel your reservation before your trip leaving you scrambling. My advise is find a backup plan. This hotel is not worthy of your money. Also, good luck trying to call them if you don’t speak Spanish. They also refuse to address issues over the phone insisting on WhatsApp messaging. Overall horrible customer service.

I want to add to Ryan Wirth’s negative review (we are traveling together). What is especially upsetting about having our reservation cancelled 2 weeks after it was confirmed and less than 2 weeks before our trip is that the hotel doesn’t seem to care. The news was delivered via email in a very standardized form rather than a personal phone call. When we called the hotel after receiving the email they were completely indifferent, simply confirming that our reservation was cancelled because they are “at capacity” with no expression of concern or acknowledgement of the inconvenience this causes. We believe the hotel gave our reservation to another party, perhaps friend or family, who expressed interest in staying there after we did. The hotel did not apologize and have not attempted to mitigate the situation in any way, by for example assisting us with making a reservation somewhere else, offering a credit to the hotel or some local amenity. Overall, very bad customer service. We don’t recommend.

Ambiente limpo, quartos com ar condicionado, área de convivência agradável logo no hall, atendentes educados e simpáticos (em especial Ana da recepção e Ana da cozinha). Café da manhã simples, mas bem gostoso. Bom preço. Fica a 5 minutos a pé da torre do relógio. Ótimo custo benefício.
