The hotel itself is very much an average 3 star hotel. Everything was just fine. The location itself makes it a 4 star. The central station is a 5 minute walk, Grand Place is only a few minute walk, and there are a lot of shops and good choices nearby.

We (two sisters aged mid-30s and early 40s) stayed in a King room which was clean and relatively spacious with part view of the main road but noise levels from the street were fine. The bathroom is relatively dated. The shower is not very powerful (attached to bath taps) and it was tricky to get the right temperature between scorching and luke warm. The room was also lacking a full length mirror and the room was cleaned every other day. However, on check in we were advised that we could request clean towels/sheets from reception if we needed. Reception staff were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is housed within the same building as Lloyd's Cafe which is a lovely bruch place with amazing pancakes - perfect for breakfast or brunch. It has a lovely vibe. There is nothing fancy about this hotel or its rooms but it was the perfect base for a 3-night stay in the centre of Brussels. Super easy to get to, not even a minute's walk from Grand Place and maybe a 2 minute walk to Brussels Central Station. Loads of shops and places to eat within walking distance. I'd definitely recommend and plan to stay again.

Perfect location in the city center (while sound isolation is quite good and you will not be bothered with street sounds if you close your window), amazing view from our room, friendly stuff. The rooms are quite new and clean(and have bathtubs!), the only complaint would be no refridgerator in the room. Price meets expectations. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Excellent central location and good value.I stay at the Hotel Aris Grand-Place on all my visits to Brussels. The staff are super friendly and most helpful. The rooms are well laid out and during my May 2022 visit the entrance reception area was being given an upgrade. But that didn't deter me as I know I will always be made to feel at home, and I will certainly return again.

I'm blown away. Amazing. Fabulous. Awesome. Just where you'd want to be as a tourist on your first visit to this fantastic city. Rooms are clean and comfy. Staff are friendly and super helpful. Brilliant shower and we also had a deep long bath to soothe our weary bones. The sounds and delicious smells of Brussels wafting in our window whilst buskers serenade us from the streets and the sun glints off the golden turrets of the Grande Place. I'm living a dream!!!
