Easy booking. Great communication. Quick pick up shuttle from airport. We will be shuttled back there in the morning. Shuttle driver lady very courteous and helpful. Surprisingly large room with separate kitchen/ dining and bathroom. Clean and tidy. If you have a vehicle there is at your door parking. 100m walk to Gas Station. Recommend. Close proximity to airports.

Perfect location for an early flight, free shuttle was great. Rooms are basic but very clean. Bed was comfortable and shower had good pressure. What more could you ask for?

The photos are deceptive. The room was dusty, the reception was unmanned and we had to wait for half an hour before the shuttle driver/receptionist arrived. The only good thing was the shuttle service. Upon return and collecting our car, we found 4 tears on the side of the driver leather seat. When we pointed it out to the shuttle driver/receptionist, his immediate response was that it was wear and tear. I sent an email to the manager and his response was abrupt - "We park your car , lock your car and get it out for your return. We didn't damage your car" I will never stay there again.

Where to start? This place is laughable if not criminal as a hospitality service in this supposed first world nation of NZ. * First off, our leather car driver's seat suffered several tears/rips we discovered on our return from overseas after two weeks of our car being in this motels care (rather lack thereof). Both the staff member on site and the manager, when emailed refused to acknowledge their responsibility in causing the damage - perhaps not surprising, but the manager replied to our email with a short and rude response, basically stating "We take your car, we park your car, we did not damage your car." No willingness to engage with us reasonably and courteously. (Be aware, when this motel's storage contract says they don't take responsibility for damage to your vehicle, this includes damage caused by their own people!) * Regarding the facilities and other service: A note asks guests to wash their own dishes. Our standard room had damage/scratch marks on the walls and cobwebs in the corners. The shower roller door came completely off its tracks when I attempted to open it - tracks had collection of mould buildup. The room is basically terribly rundown, and certainly far from "well maintained and renovated", as professed by this motel's website. Further website statements from this place such as "exceptional standards of cleanliness", "your home away from home", and "experience...the luxury of our surrounds" are delusional, and essentially deceitful in light of the reality of this shameful "Lodge".

We stayed one night which meant we got two weeks free parking. Returned to our vehicle at 2 am by shuttle. Found our vehicle wouldn't unlock by remote. Was backed in to a carpark almost opposite to where we left it Opened vehicle by key. Found gear lever in neutral ( can't remove the key unless in park) Found battery positive terminal cover off the terminal. We asked for help from the office. They loaned us jump start unit. Car would not start , no lights in dash came on. Called roadside assist. they couldn't start vehicle. Had to get family member out of bed to arrange a vehicle as we still had 2.5 hour drive home. One of us stayed with the car while family travelled home Vehicle taken by tow truck mid morning to dealer workshop. Found ELECTRICS AND BATTERY FRIED. EVERY EVIDENCE AN ATTEMPT WAS MADE TO JUMP START OUR VEHICLE INCORRECTLY WHILE WE WERE OUT OF THE COUNTRY!! Blown FUSES AND BATTERY RUINED. Cost us $887 to repair and get back home. You continue to deny what happened to our vehicle while in your care stating it suffered an unfortunate electric issue. Seriously??? We will never stay at this place nor leave our vehicle there ever again. Have since heard from our friends their vehicle suffered a serious scratch while in this place. They also will never be back. We await reimbursement for the cost of the result of the wilful interference of our vehicle.
