“Simple accommodation and good home cooked food, however I was disappointed that we didn't see a single orchid. We were told as we arrived that there were hundreds of orchids in their orchid garden so we were excited to take a look - not a single one in bloom! They also feed the animals and hummingbirds, to make them easier for guests to see. Which doesn't seem right when we're constantly told around the country not to feed the animals, makes you feel like you're in a zoo and it's not a special moment when you spot these birds and animals! We were originally staying for two nights but changed to one before we arrived, we were glad. The surroundings of the hotel are beautiful and the trail to the waterfall is great, although the rest are boring and quite simple. We did however hear a bird that we didn't hear anywhere else on our holiday, the Black Faced Soltaire, which was enchanting.”

“Very friendly personal. Okay for a night or two. Bird watching and a big orchid garden.”
