Indeed, note that no commercial gesture was addressed even though we saw two French clients leaving because of that (no debit card accepted) and that we highlighted the financial impact for us (we lost 45€ in the exchange cash process between withdrawing pesos and exchange it in dollars) to your employees and manager. This is not up to the quality of service expected for this kind of hotel. ATTENTION/CAREFUL/ATENCION : For Europeans, if you don't have a "credit" card, you will have to pay 20% more than the price displayed in dollars in Booking website due to the tax. To avoid losing 100$ we had to withdraw cash in pesos and then exchange it in dollars. Nothing is specified on booking on purpose, they are not honest and they seem not eager to change it when I spoke with them. Way too expensive for the level of service : curtain shower, no water bottle in the room, old furniture and not equipped to take the debit card. Good breakfast though.

Nice place to stay overnight. Quite rooms and a good restaurant. When the sky is clear, you have a beautiful view on the mountains when you're having dinner in the restaurant.

Good views, but our standard room was a bit small, so recommend upgrading to one of the nicer rooms. The service was absolutely 5-star! The hotel manager went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, and the front desk staff was always friendly and helpful, especially Christian with his enthusiastic, can-do attitude. Could not ask for better service and would definitely stay there again.

My friend booked this hotel so it was all a surprise to me. When he told me how much we paid, I was in shock because the hotel didn't warrant such a high price. There were bad things about the hotel as well as good things. The view was great. We were on the eighth floor overlooking the lake. The room was large for having two twin beds in it. The beds were small for twin and they were on wheels so they rolled around the room with no effort. Even just sitting down on it, the bed would roll backwards. There was hair all over my bed which seemed to come from some cloth thing they put at the foot of the bed. I would throw it in the corner and it was placed back on my bed every day with more hair on it. We stayed three nights. The room had no air conditioning or a fan. It was quite hot and the only way to cool it was to open a small window without a screen so all of the bugs from the lake would fill the room. The breakfast had a lot of choices but you are not aloud to prepare your own plate. I'm a picky eater and wanted specific items but it was not aloud. You had to take what they gave you. Since i didn't come across anyone anywhere at the hotel that spoke English, I couldn't tell them what I wanted and didn't want. The wifi was horrible all over the hotel. I have free international roaming but it is metered. I mostly had to turn off the wifi and use my metered network and that was a lot faster than the hotel wifi. The hotel had a really nice indoor pool. They make everyone wear a swim cap no matter what. The room with the pool is extremely hot. It's like being in a sauna three whole time you're there. The hot tub is outside so that was a relief from being inside the pool area but the hot tub is not like a traditional hot tub. No jets and no filtration system so it is very dirty. You could see a lot of dead skin floating in the water. Out of all the hotels I stayed at in Chile, this was the most expensive and the room was the least comfortable.

Booked a room, asked a question three times (!) by mail, never got any reply. They don‘t seem interested in guests. Canceled my booking. Too bad.

Nice hotel, friendly service, super breakfast, great views towards volcano. Best rooms are 312 and 412, but I did not know. Unfortunately had no time for the swimming pool (nice but on the other side of the road), nor the spa. Shower in my room was not hot enough, but this is my only quibble. One can rent a car (for the day) from the hotel desk, useful, but again I did not know. We must try their Eco Lodge with spectacular views over the lake, next time.

Great view and the bed was comfortable. But they put shopping mall music everywhere and the breakfast is a joke (industrial slices of cheese, eggs, industrial bread,..). Too expensive for what it is

The Cabana del Lago offers rooms with a beautiful view of the lake and for this it deserves all stars. However, rooms are variable in sizes and it may be pot luck if you get a newly renovated one. This is a very large resort hotel with its own pool too so it can get extremely busy, particularly with groups. Breakfast could do with greater attention to details as the way some of the elements were displayed didn't make them look too appetising. There's also a confusing arrangement for coffee and toast so you may have to move about the dining room a few times which early in the morning isn't ideal.

Great view, very good value hotel We’ve stay one night in the hotel. Arrived late in the evening and left the morning after. The room was good, with fantastic view of the harbor. It was basic to good room but clean and decent. Breakfast and the coffee (for good espresso you should ask from the waitress and pay some more) was good. Good value!
