Canyon Roadhouse

The hotel lodge is situated directly on the road to Fish River Canyon, 14 km from the gate to the viewing points. The geology, flora, fauna and history of the area are explained on display boards at the Canyon Information Centre. This charming hotel comprises a total of 24 rooms and is interestingly decorated with old car parts found in the region. Guests are welcomed in the lobby and they can enjoy a drink at the Wheels bar, and dine in the restaurant. Guests can enjoy the convenience of Internet access. They can also take advantage of the laundry service. The hotel offers immaculate rooms. All rooms come with an en suite bathroom with a shower. Furthermore, tea and coffee making facilities and air conditioning are provided in all accommodation as standard. The hotel features a large outdoor swimming pool and sundeck, tucked in between indigenous succulents such as aloes. Guests are able to relax by the poolside on a comfortable sun lounger. A buffet breakfast is served each morning at the hotel. Lunch can be enjoyed from a set menu, while dinner is offered la carte. Guests should travel east along the B4 from Keetmanshoop. Take the C12 in a southerly direction, turning west onto the C37. The hotel is located on this road, approximately 30 km from the turnoff.
