Awesome location if you're wanting something close to the beach and near the town. This hotel is located right on the beach, and it is an amazing surf beach when the tide comes in. Everyday there were a good amount of locals that came to surf, and we'd surf til the sun went down. At night it's also a walking distance from any restaurant you'd want to go to in Tamarindo. You pick your breakfast menu when you first get there, and they bring it to your room each morning. Both my husband and I said we'd stay there again next time we're in Tamarindo!

I thought our stay was perfect. The room was clean and very beautiful and authentic. The staff was incredibly friendly. The local wildlife, monkeys, owls and lizards were also fun to watch on the resort property. The resort is mainly outside so of course the local cats and raccoons will visit the property but are very cool to watch as well. We did not experience the free breakfast because there were too many local cafe's we wanted to visit instead. We had dinner at the restaurant once and it was very good! Thank you!

We, my family and I will be returning again (3 time) this January to experience one the best boutique resorts in the Tamarindo area. Everything from the staff, management, cleanliness, pool, and beach access along with great food make this one of the best boutique resorts in the area. What has kept us coming back is the staff and totally relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast is for guests staying at the resort. The resort opens its restaurant to the public for lunch and supper with a special bbq evening show with dancers and live music. Make reservation for lunch or supper or the bbq show and come experience this wonderful resort.

Our stay was good, not great. The location on the beach and at the end of the main town street is nice. The staff was all very nice and attentive, except for the service at the restaurant. It is a nice open air space with a beach and pool view, but the included breakfast buffet was not very good. The hot food was not hot and it was hard to get a server's attention to order from the menu. We stayed in a villa on the beach front which was spacious but had a few oddities. The cabinet with the coffee maker had to be moved for the coffee maker to reach the plug in. When the room was serviced they would move it over again. The covered porch space was nice but our room was right next to the walkway to the beach so there was no privacy. I think the over all experience could be like paradise for some and a bit lacking for others, depending on what it is compared to.

We were so very impressed with this beachfront hotel. The staff and service are really excellent. They go out of their way to ensure a wonderful experience and I can’t say enough good things. The massage services were excellent- big thanks to Ingred and Raquel (I’ve been a massage therapist for over a decade so I am very very picky). We chose a private bungalow closest to the beach and I loved the space and outdoor shower! Really charming.
